Boss! If someone cleans and service the way you did, will definitely have a big positive result! Because I cleaned my own Baxi very light before seeing your kind video and I saw a big difference!
hows it a bad big job?it was only some screw heads and wing nuts to strip it down by the look of it ! it was so easy to do , that you pretty much did it with one hand lol.nice informative video tho , thanks
Had one todaygas valve was opening electrodes i replaced but still didnt light i put it down to the burner what do you think .the customer has decided to have a new Worcester boiler regards Lee
To be fair that's not the worst I've seen. Pulled those sumps out to have moon rocks come tumbling down the back of it in the past😂. Often got a telling off for my troubles for "taking too long" as you know mate. They ain't that bad to do really.
Yeah think we have both seen worse on our travels, even had it where the sump has been wrecked and even after a clean out not passing a KW rating. I think we have an advantage from being made to strip these time after time so they ain’t that bad to us but I can see how a newer gas engineer or someone who doesn’t see them often may struggle with these! Always done a top job Ben, never understood why they would track your time on jobs when you always made sure it was done right! 👍
Cheers mate….I like baxi boilers in general but don’t like the solo HE at all, not nice to work on and yeah agree last company dodged because of work involved by looks of it 👍
But not good workmanship for the customer pays for service thinks it's done properly and cowboy Gas engineer dosent bother Easy money Gives you guys a bad name

Hi, nice video as usual. How much does it cost to service one of those, including parts?
Great video mate, agreed on those boiler's as well, absolute garbage, those flow switches are foverer leaking
Yes that’s another part that can be a pain, and the heat exchanger plate on right hand side leaking, rubbish
Enjoying your vids mate.. Kudos to you

I’ve seen them burners block up and fail to ignite, I would have gone electrodes then gas valve same to be honest 👍
@@bluebulldog_uk yes I put it to the customer the boilers not in great shape so they have gone for a nice Worcester ri with 10 years warranty

The buzz phrase was " we've trialed this and it's made no difference to job completion times" 🤣
Great job what a horrible bit of crap to service always hated Baxi . No wonder that has had the big dodge by the last company

Good video. Not the best boiler but plenty of room to work on
It’s a shame when you go to a customer that thinks they have had a boiler looked after for years and find out it’s never been done properly
