I had one of those lined up to buy. It had 50,000 miles, 2005 ZR2, Cherry red, Moonroof, stereo controls on the steering wheel. Seller backed out of the deal. Used to have a 97 S10 ZR2. They are okay if you dont mind saggy door pins, leaky oil cooler lines, failing wiper control module, cheap plastic interior, flaky ABS, just to name a few things that fail.
my 99 pu has 257.had high miles when i got it. paid 1200$ guy thought it was just 4x4 not zr2. after inspection, stamping on the fenders, glovebox and firewall turns out it is a zr2. runs strong
I still have a 1997 S-10 4.3 Vortex Engine, 2 doors, 4 Wheel Drive and no saggy door pins.. The engine still purrs like a kitten it still has get up and go. The engine has never been torn apart for things that go wrong.. Everything around it has broken. New Starter, heater core, gas tank, fuel lines, vaccum hoses.. However, for the age of this vehicle I do expect those things to break.. Today's Blazer is an insult to the Blazer name.. Comes in 4 doors and is being compared to the Trailblazer which is not a Blazer at all but a mini Tahoe. I want something in 2 doors, 4 wheel drive not the "all wheel drive" something similar to the 4.3 engine or bring back the 4.3, not a 3 cylinder pos.. What is up with the 4 doors, I can't stand 4 doors.. Every car manufacturer is making 4 door cars and trucks.. Whoever heard of a 4 door pickup, then you look at the bed of the truck and you might as well just put a rumble seat back there.
I'm am completely with you on that!! My favorite vehicle was my K5 with a big block Chevy in it, now that was a Blazer! You can't even put a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the trucks being made today!! Whoever thought a 6' truck bed would be usable, the makers of these vehicles today are full blown tards my friend! Very Nice. I just found 1 of these same color & looks identical to the one I'm buying tomorrow for $3K. She's super clean.. Can't wait to get her out & see what she can do. Owner needs to move & cannot take the ZR2 with him. Happy to pay $3 grand for it.

I have, literally, this exact rig! ( But with IMHO much needed for the look M/T tires) love it... What did you do to the back plastic trim pieces? They are always so jacked! mine has 110000 miles it's 2020, have had it for 6 yrs, lol fun truck... Mine is pretty clean but the stupid tire rack in the back want closed right, once, and sorta Fu*kered the hing points

If anyone knows where a clean ZR2 Blazer is, almost anywhere in the continental U.S. is good(although Southern and west coast is better for rust purposes), respond here. Seriously, is your dad, mom, grandpa, uncle finally getting rid of their really clean ZR2? Let me know.
Could be operator error. Mine has 257+ and runs strong. Obviously you gunna have repairs down the line for some people thats too much of getting your hands dirty. Moral of every vehicles story is you get out what you put into it.
I just bought the cleanest 2002 zr2 with 97,000 miles yesterday! Needs shocks and control arm bushings but it’ll be mint after that!
I have a '00 Blazer 2dr 4x4 I have 187k on mine still going strong, I'd love to have a ZR2 model, great looking Blazer😊

4wd on dry ground...big no-no. Transfer case hates that. Driving it that low on gas...big no-no. Fuel pump hates that.
