BLOODWRITTEN (US) Promo Demo "DARKNESS". 2000 (Obscure US DEATH/BLACK METAL)

Back in 2000, i went to see a band called Iron Boss (NC,usa) at my local venue in town. One of their roadies & i started talking & he handed me this demo tape which was of his band called BLOODWRITTEN. He told me it was just a promo thing that he was giving some folks in Europe whilst on tour with Iron Boss. Turns out to be pretty good actually, like a cross between Grand Belial's Key & At the Gates with some killer leads. I think there was a connection with the band ISKARIOT somewhere along the line (one of the members was also in them, i think). But having never heard ISKARIOT, i can't say if they sound like em. They later put out a mini cd & a full-length & broke up around 2003 i guess. 3 tracks, 10 minutes, Restored & mastered by Mahler Haze, May 2022.
