    EXCELENT VIDEO!! I have been doing glass and boat work (not as a profession) for over 40 years and I learned a ton of information from this video. Thanks for the details.
    You guys need to maybe think of adding some UA-cam “shorts” with the knowledge you acquired just from this tour doing the video.
    I am also glad that you introduced this great company to your subscribers and I bet many more will appreciate that information for their projects as well as new subscribers to your channel. I think this will be one of your most watched ones down the road.
    When you go to the “glass class” be sure to do a video (or more) about what is learned. 👍🏻👍🏻

      Brian, Thank you so much for the kind words! You know I think you’re right about the shorts. We tried before but if we stick to just giving out little tid buts of info on there it might work!
      We love FGCI and their products and we think that our subscribers will love them too! We also think this video will do really well! And we will definitely be sharing everything we learn from the pros over at FGCI! We can’t wait we’re really excited! Thanks again Brian! 🤙

    So much useful information. Thank you tons. West and Totalboat are all I've heard about on UA-cam for the past 2 years since I've been researching the repairs needed on our newly purchased 32 year-old boat.

      Thank you so much! We noticed that most only know about those two brands as well! FGCI has tons of great comparable products at a competitive price! We’ve loved every one of their products we’ve used on our boat! Thanks for the comment!🤙

    AWESOME! Video guys. I'm super impressed about the tour. I've been on their website but seeing the place in one comprehensive video, with such a knowledgeable guide is great. Thanks for the look inside the chocolate factory! Its like you got to meet Willy Wonka himself.

    Laz is the man! If you don't love that smell when you first walk in you shouldn't own a boat, jk lol

    Hey,how fick the bottom of the boat should be?

    • @perfectfitboating
      @perfectfitboating  7 місяців тому

      Hey Phillip! Not sure I understand your question. Is it how thick the bottom of the boat should be? I’m not really sure every manufacturer has different specs for their builds. Some are thick like 2-3” thick and some are almost paper thin. 🤙

    As for silicone never use on gelcoat. The silicone will be absorbed by the gelcoat and nothing will stick to it again until the gelcoat that absorbed the silicone is removed by sanding.
