- Apparently this part is in backorder nationwide, and the Chevrolet dealer has no idea when they will get more shift assemblies in stock. I got tired of waiting and fiddling with the shift knob while stuck in parking lots and figured out a quick, permanent (cross my fingers) fix to the problem without any tools needed. Good luck.
Thank you! It worked!
Issues on a pretty much new vehicle. Lmao. Chevy
My encore gx just got this today and it's at 42k miles so right outside the warranty. Planned obselesence at its most petty
I have a 2020 Blazer with 26,000 miles. My brother can fix that. When I call the dealership they act like they have no clue and it has to be diagnosed and basically they will have my car for an unspecified amount of time. No way.
👏👏👏Standing Ovation !!! Thank you!!
very helpful saved me a ton of trouble shooting, thank you
I desperately need to try this. Can you tell me how you removed the clip?
Same issue with my 2021 TB with 55k miles. shit is really pissing me off. anyways. do think this is a permanent fix or will it only work for so long? I'm sure time will tell. but I don't kno how long this will hold. maybe its altogether another problem? idk. seems total ass to me. not trying to get scammed into needing a whole new tranny. or whatever jargon the dealership wants to come up with.
i’m going though this, has the problem came back for you?
Nope, it hasn't come back.
Thanks for the video homie, I was puzzled on how to get the cup holder console up.
I did this for a 2021 trailblazer. Let’s see how long this holds up for me.
This worked on my 2021 Buick Encore GX.
I tried this on my 22 trailblazer and it didn’t solve my issue. 😢
Would this cause my battery to drain?
I'm seeing that on the GF's 2022 trailblazer. I'll have to try that. thank you.
It worked!!!! Thank you so much.
Thank you so much. You are my hero!
Has the issue came back yet or does this seem like a permanent fix. My 2023 Trailblazer started doing this at 20,000 miles.
Nope, it hasn't come back.
Wouldn’t this be covered under warranty at 20,000 miles?
