Yuki and kenjaku’s sudden deaths (and burning of the bridge to their potential) were shocking in the moment, but thats what made the jjk fights so impactful imo. The characters were more likely to die than survive in each encounter lol.
My brotha! Jjk was a hell of a ride thanks for all the videos and entertainment you have provided us with over the years. You did well ESU. I will never forget you as long as i live
First off, man, glad to see you back and your editing is as fire as ever. Second, my brother, I'm glad you're expressing your genuine sentiments. A lot of people pander, but youbare staying honest. That takes a great deal of integrity in these UA-cam streets. Lastly, while JJK wasn't all we wanted it to be, we were on this ride together, and it was fun. That's as much as we can ask from a mangaka
Now that I’ve reached the end of your video - well done man. I been watching your videos since I picked up the manga after finishing S1. You were easily my favorite JJK UA-camr.
I agree on every aspect about Kenjaku and his wasted character potential. I dont even care for a part 2. I just pray for a one-shot chapter on Kenjaku, Sukuna, & Tengen backstory.
starting watching your channel after season 1 finished its been a great watching you since then. I hope the next series you cover is just as special as this one. love from another brother
I home the anime gives us a Sukuna flashback arc because that could actually make me emphasize and feel for him. The ending tried to make me feel bad for Sukuna but it rang hollow for me in the end. A lot of readers already knew that Sukuna was hated by others because of the way he looked and decided to show that same hatred by not caring about others and using his strength ti hurt people. His strength and ability to hurt others was a coping mechanism to deal with his inner pain of not having anyone to truly love him. A sad and tragic man who just wanted to be loved as a child. Wish gege delved more into his backstory for us to actually care about him. He had so much potential.
Good video review for both fair praise and criticism. 👌 Despite the criticisms for the series, still found enough enjoyment out of certain aspects of JJK (ex: Hidden Inventory). For better or for worse, it was an entertaining time with the fandom in the last few years.
The nail girl i literally guessed when she did it to the soul toucher lol I knew it had to end with them 3 no matter what also sukunas literally weakness is the nail girls powers I think it was set up good in my opinion I always knew she was gonna be the win con
13:20 In kenjakus defense, he had gravity revealed before she even appears to fight Its geges fault for making kenjaku so knowledgeable cuz its not out of the question that kenjaku would be capable of achieving such a feat
I think it's a lot of cope..on every side People who thought the ending was bad and then took that out on the entire story, now everything's bad People who were hype no matter what, even in the story's most badly written moments Ultimately I for one think, since the second arc there were tells that the fights were everything, and I mean everything, it didn't matter who's what and from where But when the fight's almost done or ended, it was always something off like why am I getting a flashback NOW instead of before so I can really connect with THIS or THAT character People talk about Gege like god, but honestly fights are really good, the power system was interesting but definitely a lot of ass pulls, the VISUALS *chef's kiss*, but there was always a lack in the character department, other than abilities you know very little about them especially the main ones and it all ended up being exposed towards the end Nobara becoming a plot device, Megumi having 0 thoughts despite the most important people in his life killed in front of him JJK fights are amazing, lore and worldbuilding definitely good, characters shine once and that's it so, JJK is fine, not some masterwork nor amazing
I kinda forgot that Yuki could interact with the soulds of past plasma vessels, how deep was her connection to the soul and what exactly did yuji learn from her book?
I personally don't really care for it anymore. I started reading 2 days after Yuta promised to slaughter Itadori in the manga (so around jan/feb 2021 iirc). Back then, the series had incredible promise, at least for me. Mysteries and plot points I thought Gege would pay off... Lmfao. I dipped after he butchered Kashimo. I did engage with the community throughout though. Even kept nagging my ex girlfriend to read it because of how peak it was back during Maki's lil Zenin family reunion arc. The memes were pretty neat. Everything after Shibuya was kinda fun weekly but retrospectively is pretty meh. Even Kashimo vs Hakari lost it's charm 2 years later, and I loved reading that weekly. It was so much fun waiting for weeks, sometimes even 2 because of a break to see who would die. The debates that fight sparked were awesome. I don't really feel anything for this manga now. The anime is neat and I hope season 3 and 4 get the s2 treatment. Jjjk was defenitely an expirience of all time. I don't intend to demean other people's enjoyment, but I genuinly don't really care for it anymore, and I was a stonch Gege gawk gawk merchant. The best part though, in my opinion, is Sukuna's death and the lead up to it. Those interactions with Yuji and Sukuna were peak, inspite of Gege not being sure wether to make Sukuna utterly evil or a deep character with unfortunate circumstances. It really hit hard, and I can't stand those people who think "Oh it's just a Mahito copy" when it's so much deeper than that. "You are me" vs "I am you" having such depth is an incredible feat imo. Yuji's compassion for Sukuna at the end made me cry, as cringe as that is. Either way, a pretty mid manga with peak moments.
I feel the same way tbh. Kashimo, Yuki and Kenjaku were so anticlimactic it's not even funny. This is fiction he could've done so much more with the fights but oh well.
I never disliked the ending, people are weird. Dbz tards I. Specific seem to hate JJK (it mogged DBZ so hard in martial arts lmao) I noticed a lot of them really seethe about it
Man I just wish it would went on longer to me the end was rushed an SOOO much stuff was left out like ALOT of stuff that i want to know. An I don't get why he never went into those things when we thought he 100% would also the way sukuna an gojo went out just sloppy writing to me like it seem like certain things were rushed
33:16 this is the Music that plays in my head when I say “This Truly was Our Jujutsu Kaisen” 🥹 For real though this channel has been amazing for JJK content, can’t wait to see what you do for the future
You said it bro, Jujutsu Kaisen was a special experience ya just can’t forget about, even long after it’s conclusion.
Yuki and kenjaku’s sudden deaths (and burning of the bridge to their potential) were shocking in the moment, but thats what made the jjk fights so impactful imo. The characters were more likely to die than survive in each encounter lol.
I miss JJK. In a few years, Gege might do a glorious Bleach-like comeback
Honestly by then I'm interested to see a brand new series
No. This story has nothing more to say.
Genuinely one of the best intros to a video I've seen.
I can’t wait to see what gege does in the future. Welcome back brotha 🙌🏾🙌🏾

BRO IS BACK!
This has truly been our Jujutsu kaisen. Seriously though, the last Sukuna character bit + the edit were amazing ❤
Great retrospective man

This video was perfect ❤️

Kenjaku a wasted character fr. The way gege treats certain characters man. he just threw the guy away
I think it's a lot of cope..on every side

People who were hype no matter what, even in the story's most badly written moments
