Fun fact: Hanami throws buds at both Maki and Megumi but only Megumi is affected because of his higher cursed energy which is cool that Todo figures out in like 2 seconds
I like how Yuji and Nobara combo was Yuji being the physical attacker, while Nobara was the special attacker. Meanwhile in goodwill, Megumi was clearly the special attacker, and Maki, the female partner, being the physical attacker. It was a cool thing I just noticed
tbh, the fact that Megumi can keep up with Maki is crazy. But what's even crazier? Is that Megumi not only fought Toji and lived, but he actually managed to survive blows from a heavenly restricted being. That's something that a key group of figures in the series future will not be able to do.
I hope in season 3 we get more of the juju strolls, unironically they help flesh out the characters and kinda make them feel more “real” instead of people with a handful of qualities that then die
unlikely, but I think there's opportunity to add anime only scenes given that Gege has recently talked about his regrets regarding some aspects of the Culling Games so I wouldn't be surprised if he had them change things around. Given that it's mostly fights, they can probably afford an episode or two. Wishful thinking though.
@@Orion__no considering what Gege has said and how Mappa expanded other scenes like the Mahoraga fight I think s3 will definitely have extra material added in
In Mushoku Tensei, there are chapters called "Turning points". When a Turning Point happens, the status-quo, vibe and genre of the story is completely and utterly changed. Hidden Inventory was the last slice of life part you are getting with Jujutsu Kaisen. The Shibuya incident was a turning point. The death of every disaster curse. The removal of Yuji's two father figures. Sukuna's rampage with Yuji's face. Mahoraga being revealed as the thing that could kill Gojo if he ever gets out. Furthermore, it is now "Geto's" world. From now on, "real" will be conveyed through battle.
Jjk is simply a good action anime with a unique story. The real shine is the interesting characters, gege expressed that really well and got people loving the characters so much more than the story😂
Interesting characters + interesting power system that takes inspiration from other interesting power systems = good anime. The pacing and story can be a bit off, especially closer to the end, but it’s still great nonetheless imho
@@Lostsoul_123 nah pacing is definitely rough. No reason for the culling games to be as short as it was. Nor did the culling games utilize the full cast of contestants to its fullest potential. This is coming from Gege’s mouth himself lmao. Me not liking the pacing isn’t a diss to the anime
It did seem a bit rushed at the current chapters, and we know Gege wants it to end too, but hopefully he’ll wrap up the manga with a good ending rather than a bad one
i think gadafi is the one that really got me when I was writing the script. Although gargoyle is a close second because the gargoyle duo in elden ring terrorized me when I first played the game
Wow, what a fantastic review of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1! Your analysis was spot-on, diving deep into the intricate plot twists and character dynamics that made the series so captivating. I loved how you articulated the growth of each character, especially Itadori's journey from a reluctant hero to embracing his role in the Jujutsu world. Your insights on the animation quality and soundtrack were on point too, highlighting how they enhanced the overall experience. It's clear you have a deep passion for the series, and it really shines through in your review. Can't wait to see more of your content! 21:34 yeah i’ve thought this as well but then you kinda realize gege is not interested in shonen tropes and just wants to write a battle manga centered around buddhist ideologies, thus no training arcs and such. the characters are merely tools for the very specific story gege wants to tell.
