as a current owner of the LG CX & LG C1, I just had to buy a Samsung QD-OLED and I do not regret it not one bit! The brightness & color difference is very noticeable and I'm in GAMING HEAVEN on my new QD-OLED TV! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Disappointed that the 83" C3 has been discontinued. Our 8 year old SONY XBR 75" is starting to have issues with its tcon board, and we love our recently purchased LG C3 65" for another room. Price point for the C4 83" is steep!
It's an awesome tv. We just ordered it onsale and should arrive delivered in a week. I've had been researching it ever since i saw it at Costco. The C4 is out now but it's about 1k higher price without much difference other than c4 having webos 24 (instead of v23 that is on c3) and c4 had slightly brighter images. But lg says that in Feb 2025 they'll push an ota update to webos24 for the c2 and c3 units. I can't wait for our 77 c3 to get here. 😊
Nice review. I barely use my 55" LG Nano 8 since I spend most of my time at my desk but nearly every TV I've ever owned has been an LG and they've never let me down. I really only turn it on when I need something to watch while I'm in the kitchen cooking (I have it wall mounted so I can pull it out and face it toward the kitchen). I'm glad you reviewed the soundbar as I was wondering how it paired with the TV (I'm in an apartment also so I'm not in the market for a soundbar but if I ever do get one it will definitely be LG). Have you ever considered doing a living room set up video?
First, thanks for the continued support on the channel, I really appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the video. I definitely love LG panels, for both monitors and TVs. As far as a living room tour, apart from the TV I don’t think my living room is interesting enough right now, but there will be more content from here in the future, I can tell you that much! Cheers 🍻
I still have the C9 and CX both in 55 inch and I love them. Great TV's. But next year is time for an upgrade to a 77 G4. When the price comes down by 1000.
I just got this TV from official LG retailer off ebay. Had it listed for 2k like Best buy and others, but ebay had additional Memorial day 20% off so ended up getting it $1600 new in box. Steal imo. Great review 🤙🏽
Never had burn in on my CX. Still works beautifully till this day. Not concerned at all. Rather save me the $400 than spend on a warranty most likely will never use. But to each is own. Keep the money in my pocket.
Wonderful review. I have the G4 in my bedroom and it is gorgeous. I'm an avid Sony user, but I also love this television. May I have the details on your tv stand, please? I'm in love!
Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it! The stand is a customized Besta TV stand from IKEA (it can be customized in store). The black doors are called “Mortviken” and the glass middle door is called “Fallsvik”. Hope this helps, thank you for watching 🍻
Every tv if still works its still best. I using LG G3 and i wish i use this beauty long years. Omg new G4 is out i must buy this tv its more brighter than G3, my G3 is trash now... No.
What do you think about the lack of ATSC 3.0 tuner like the G3 and staying on the ATSC 1.0 tuner and not being able to get 4K over the air broadcast via antenna?
I'm a bit mixed on this. On the one hand, ATSC 1.0 is outdated. Personally, I use subscription services and/or a cable box, so it doesn't bother me as much. If I did use OTA broadcasts, I'd probably go with the G3 for future-proofing... probably. The flip side is that I'm not sure at this point if broadcasters are widely investing in 3.0 infrastructure since these days, the focus feels like it's shifted to streaming with all of the 4K, Dolby Atmos, etc. - that, and balancing upfront investment costs. Last I heard, adoption of 3.0 broadcasts was still limited, so I guess it also depends on people's local broadcasters. 4K feels like a lot of bandwidth for OTA.
I’ve got a 48 inch Samsung S90D which has WOLED panel, what would the brightness difference be between the S90D and C3? I’m looking at changing to C3 I would save a lot of cash doing this.
Great video! The C3 65" is about 1800 euros where I live, and the G3 is 2300 euros, which one should I get, I have the C1 now and reflection handling is not great, thanks again for the video.
Thanks for the kind words! I can't really comment too much on the G3 as I haven't used it before, but for what it's worth I have heard with the MLA tech it is slightly brighter and potentially has better picture quality. However, I can't comment on if the price difference is worth it. Either way you go, you won't be disappointed!
@@TwoByteThomas thanks for the tip, C3 65" is now only 1300usd, I,m guessing value for money is just great, and a step up from my C1, which is absolutely still great, but time to retire it:)
I have a question... I have this same model and at the time of turning it on you hear a small sound as if the electric current were activated, in the same way when the power off it is heard even though the sound is much lower, it should be noted that the sound is not that of LG's on-off system. Is this normal?
Great first time review. I’m interested in buying a TV but I’m don’t know which one. Do you have an opinion on the Sony Bravia 9 or the LG G4 I will mainly be using it to watch movies.
I don't know about the Bravia 9 at all unfortunately, but as far as LG panels go I've never been disappointed! Thank you for watching, I appreciate the kind words.
