I just realized one thing after watching this game, isn't the best use of Frost to freeze enemies army and go destroy their base while it's undefended? Why does nobody do that? Every time I see people attacking the frozen army that takes virtually no damage.
I think people do it because in legacy units took reduced damage in frost so they could be whittled down, but now it's next to nothing. Splitting an army in two so you can fight half, or freezing and going raiding/knocking buildings down or getting a hill fort/tc built on the front are better uses in retold
That’s a good approach, however in this game it might have been tough for him, if he circled behind my army to take out my tc id have surrounded his army and killed him
it’s crazy how good you are at multitasking, you raid with one calculated army and attack and run with your lead army and really overwhelm your opponents! learning alot from your videos so when i get my pc setup, i can start playing immediately!
Very wp, very clean as stated above. Being an Odin player, it’s always hard to meet this balanced macro approach. Firstly because I do not think the go-to WW push will work(?), secondly because the lack of fighting leaves Norse without favor and hence not enough MU/HP for the upcoming big fight. Do you think he can go 1 TC with light raiding and quite fast heroic push/possibly gold starve vs your 2TC on open maps like this?
@ ye ofc it was a 2 goldmine, I forgot. Then its tough, maybe just prepare for classical fight and scout to see if opp goes 2 TC and replicate if so. Pretty much what Shelty did then, so your analysis on 3TC being abit much is prolly the answer. Also big congrats on Genesis, really impressive display from you😊 thanks for replying!
Hey Magic, why do pros click a lot on things even when they just don't do anything? For example you click a lot on your tc on Arcaic age even when there is nothing to do there
i think it may be to keep the right rythm because for shure after there gona be a lot of need for speed clicking so he just stay all game at the same intensity by habit (sorry for my english im french)
why would you waste the resources and have 2 seperate buildings for the wood and gold in the beginning? I usually just play it between the gold mine and the trees. I am newer to the game tho so idk
We love POV style videos. Def helps us learn the most from you. Keep it going brotha
Glad you enjoyed it!
Magic's playstyle is so smooth. Can learn alot from from this.

That's good, also trying to freeze that back half of their army can be good, so you can potentially leave them with a big military disadvantage.

Another approach would be freezing half an army and fighting the other half with your full force.
I think they can also generate a lot of favour during the freeze by attacking the army

I think on a 2 gold mine ghost lake it’s very tough but if it was a 1 gold mine map he definitely could

🐐
My goat
Can one freeze villagers/units beside a forest, then forest fire it? Or does the divine damage get reduced by frost?
Good question !

I click on the tc usually to center back to my base, or to toggle between different bases generally , I try not to click things unnecessarily

I do that too sometimes if they’re really optimal but in most cases I want to reduce the walking time so I give them both their own spots
Very clean macro all game. I guess because of dwarves and military building stuff.
Odin player kind of wasted his frost GP hard.
Seems it was an easy game
