Live commentary for meme planes is a great idea and I loved it for the BV video, but for "serious" planes and gameplay I appreciate the post-commentary a whole lot more. The insight and knowledge you can share with us of what you and the enemy is doing is priceless for learning how to play better, and it's always going to be far more in depth when done in post rather than live.
Nothing beats Schizo gaming when it comes to War Thunder. I’m wondering if you’ll ever pull out the LA-200. You talked about it a lot in previous videos about how it has no place at 7.7, mainly cause of how fast it is.
Every time I see a La-200 in my F3D-1 I cry of pain. F3D-1 struggles to reach 800+ kph and it bleeds all that energy once you turn. It’s essentially a sitting duck.
You should do the MD.452 IIA. My favorite thing about it is that the engine actually loses thrust the faster it goes. But Mr. Seek, isn't that the opposite of how every jet engine ever works? Yes. Yes it is 😇
Dosen't every turbojet loose thrust, the faster it goes? The power a jet engine provides goes up with speed though. Since power (P) is velocity (v) times force/thrust (F) (P = v * F), an engine would provide infinte power if the trust of an engine wen't up with speed.

I think the live commentary is better and more fun for as you said “meme vehicles” where you are playing for fun. However your videos have been a big teacher for me in this game. I have almost a hundred hours in the game and your post commentary videos have taught me most of what I know and use in my planes, and have shown me what planes are worth putting time into and which ones aren’t.

The mystère IV at 8.7 has the exact same strengths and weaknesses as this 452B but dialed at 1000. It turn extremely well, but loses its energy very quickly and the engine is lacking. But against mig15, you will usually out turn them in the first 1-2 turns and need to kill them quicky
I thought the live commentary was pretty great. Would be good for videos like the recent ones on the Wyvern or the B7A2. Might be fun for the more serious planes too once in a while to get a different kind of commentary, but the post-commentary is always going to be more instructional.

Started WT as a plane enthusiast, chose France because i'm French (lets be honest, this is the only reason to start WT with this tree). Told Myself : damn, the game is haaard. Then i reached top tier, (let's be honest, the mirage are satisfying). Then chose to start Sweden and US, and after a few games I realised WHY i thought it was so hard to compete.
not a big fan of the active commentary vid on the BV 238, I find that you are much more articulate when you have time to arrange your ideas; and thus can impart into us potatoes more knowledge.
Well theres not much to articulate when you fly a bomber or a plane thats hardly air worthy likr a Hs 129 for example Dont expect that style on anything but planes like that

I think live commentary is good personally. If you're worried about not having the same amount of useful information, you could always try adding post commentary when needed over top of the live commentary. You could also do like an "after action report" type thing after the main gameplay bits. Now, that might break the flow of the video somewhat, but it's always something you can try, just as an idea, and see how you and the viewers like it. Well that's just my take anyways.

I’ve been playing it for a while and honestly I think a lot of people sleep on it, it has an absolute sledgehammer armament at 2.0 and can pull some pretty good speeds, even it’s turn time isn’t awful (you won’t out turn much at 2.0 tho). Or if you don’t feel like that just play the i-16 type 27 cus that thing is just a joke.
Nobody has been sleeping on the LaGG-3-11. It is, at best, below average in every category that isn't top speed. Sure, it might be kind of fast for the BR but there are plenty of planes that can catch it and then it is completely boned because it has no options. The 2.3 Yak is better in every metric. Heck, the Yak-2 KABB is a better overall performer than the LaGG-3-11. Not by much but it is. The benefit at such low BRs is that what you fly pretty much doesn't matter because a massive majority of players at that BR don't have a single clue what they are actually doing. I will grant that this hardly improves for quite a hefty chunk of the player base as they don't bother to learn and improve the more they play but at 2.0 many monoplanes are "really good" by virtue of the fact that they at least have the ability to disengage from a losing fight, at least briefly, if you can recognize it soon enough.
If it's a more light-hearted video it makes sense that live commentary would work best. I think this also includes any more difficult challenge videos if you do those, anything where you think people would want to see how difficult something actually is to do.
