Does drying the food at elevated temperatures not destroy a lot of the nutrients you want to add? Why nit just dry in an air dryer and keep the nutrients?

If you are shooting for 1/2" thick mats, you could take two 1/2" diameter dowels ( or flat stock) and lay them on top of the parchment paper, parallel to each other, with the food between. Then cover with another sheet of parchment paper, and use a rolling pin on top. It will push everything down to 1/2” or less. Then remove the top sheet, dowels, and bake.

Wow. I'll never buy store bought again. I'm perfectly cool with making my own too control ingredients. I made my own power soil for organic gardening as well. Soil takes a year to cook before use. This food looks to be equally high quality for shrimp.. thanks for sharing.

Awesome information! I made some of the food based your prior video and my shrimp all loved it. I also used it to make shrimp lollies, which also were a huge hit. Thanks!

Have you ever tried to use a dehydrator instead of the oven? I feel like you would preserve more of the nutrients?

so cool ! - love watching your videos ! ( make more please xD!!!) - question though, how come you do this method over the pasta method? I find egg to be a great binder and the added benefits of the protein and minerals of the yolk also go a long way. would love to hear why you use one method over the other. Thanks.
