Bro we are getting a new Pokémon game the trailer dropped
Video starts at 3:17
Thank you sir!
Absolute chad
I tip my hat to you, fellow person who gives the timestamp to start the video. 😁
No it starts at 0:00
As much as I'm loving PLA, I think the next Legends game will make PLA feel very empty. That said, I'm glad they picked ancient Sinnoh for the first Legends game, since it works with how empty Sinnoh is in modern day.
I think PLA was a test run for Gen 9
Hopefully they drop all the crap gimmicks like the Noble fights and flying races.
@@minicle426 i don’t know, the noble fights were a cool change of pace. i wouldn’t mind them showing up alongside proper gym battles in gen 9, or just them being a thing in the legends games if they become a spinoff series
idk if they’ll make more legends games but gen 9 seems promising already and we only have one reveal and it already looks better than legends, if they do make more legends games it’ll prob be a johto or unova one
unless they make the gen 5 remakes open world like gen 9 which will prob be the case since that faithful remake excuse was one of their biggest mistakes since those games flopped
You forgot to add the very important, game changing fact that Wurmple's red horn on the back of its head was YELLOW in the trailers!
Can I just say, the room is so cool! I love the little details, the Eevee/Pikachu switch, Spiritomb and Gastrodon poster, and Mantyke’s on the boxes are just such a fun touch!
I only noticed the posters, but all the other details are really cool, shame that it was "scrapped" (as of now)
There's technically abilities, reigigigas still has slow start, cherrim has her ability, and arecus has his
all abilities are hardcoded in the game, as the original avalugg has ice body or own tempo, while hisuian avalugg has strong jaw or ice body.
We saw zorua transform into munchlux in a quest too, using illusion
I do wonder if there can be a possible DLC, adding some of the cut contents back.
ya today in pokemon presents we will probably get a dlc
@@himankdhawan778 Nope
@@scarrantsandreviews That comment was before the presents
@@himankdhawan778 I know.
Yeah, the datamining of games is a unique art that uncovers so much left cut from the main game originally that was coded out in the final product.
Mega Evolution being in Legends: Arceus always seemed like a stretch to me, though, since the Styles were already a widely available gimmick with the game itself, so I doubted the presence of Key Stones or Mega Stones, especially since it's a substantial distance from Kalos before Mega Evolution became widely available. BDSP seemed like a shoe-in to me, but we all know how that turned out.
As for DLC where the player goes back to the future? Sounds interesting, but it'd have to be in a capacity similar to something like Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Ocarina of Time-style wouldn't go over to well, gameplay-wise, I imagine.
Sheer Force Kleavor could end up being really busted
8:46 based on the capitalization of Geodude in the screenshot, the dev that recorded that shot renamed their Rowlet to reflect the capitalization of pre-Gen 5 games, which is ADORABLE.
It would be cool if the abilities come back into the game via a patch, and you'll new reason to go through the game because you're given the task of actually DISCOVERING what the Pokemon's abilities are.
That room seems to be from a scrapped idea for the beginning of the game, but it could be used for a DLC storyline. MAybe as a nightmare story for Darkrai, or you go to the future for more reason but then decides to travel back.
I mean Darkrai already has a quest which allows you to catch him, it's very bare bones but still
@@Biodebatable still maybe a DKC pack could make it so you get a story after you catch Darkrai where you get hit by one of his nightmares by mistake, but have to escape on your own
About that future room, i would really like to see a DLC about you going into the future and if it happened, then i would like it if Ingo followed you and he regained all his memories
The unused room kinda looks like the main character’s room from DPPBDSP.
YES
The thing is, not every Pokemon with a mega evolution is in Legends: Arceus. Even then, there is the two style move gimmick, so having megas would not make much sense, hence why it was most likely a scrapped feature. Although it does show that the devs still have some interest in megas, so who knows. Maybe this is some niche Easter egg hinting towards there being Kalos and Galar DLC for Scarlet and Violet.
They probably had some ideas with Mega Evolution, but they scraped them due to lack of ideas, so I guess we will have to wait for the generation 6 remake games for this mechanic to return.
This room was probably for a scene were you would start your journey to the past land of Hisui, and I am glad that they have scraped it, they probably left it as a easter egg for data miners.
What if we supposed to get Mega Stones in Space Time Distortion?
Or gen 9
@@LloomiDreamz *hype rises*
@@LloomiDreamz I also thought about gen9 bringing back Mega Evo, as it appears that gen9 uses the same engine and thus also has the mega evo data. This also explains why all abilities are coded in the game, we will need them for gen9. Who knows, maybe the scrapped room will appear in gen9 too as an easter egg.
@@Nigolasy I highly doubt that we will get Mega-evolutions in generation 9. We should wait for generation 6 remake games for their return.
Imagine if Volo used Mega Garchomp
He’d be easier to beat
@@pn2294 that's sadly true... mega lucario on the other hand 👀
Okay, but, like, the unused room is literally Dawn/Lucas’ room, except more fleshed out. Another possibile point to the theory that you literally play an older Dawn/Lucas in Legends Arceus.
Could be. Some also think it's from the BDSP that GF were going to make until they handed it over to ILCA.
We undoubtedly play as an older Dawn/Lucas, and the room just make it even more obvious.
We are, that’s probably why Arceus chose the player character to go back in time
I would LOVE to see mega evolution return in some dlc, it was definitely the best gimmick.
Mega evolution they added that code, so they can transfer it future games. They already have strong style, agile style as a gimmick. Hopefully gen 9 will have mega evolution
I couldn't care less about Mega Evolution because it's a gimmick that so few Pokémon benefitted from, at least if you compared it to the total number of Pokémon there are. If they nerfed Dynamaxing a bit, maybe by making Max moves only usable once and they have to use their regular moves otherwise, as well as gave more incentive to actually get the Gigantimax forms, like changing abilities and typing like Mega-Evolving did, then I would prefer that replace it. Best of both worlds IMO.
No, I honestly don't want that garbage to come back. Dynamax atleast has a use as a Raid boss.
Rather they expand on the battle system introduced in Legends instead because this is actually fresh and exciting while Megas are garbage.
@@drakedrago2339 mind you words . Mega evolution is the best gimmick
Pokemon Legends Arceus DLC is very possible and I hope we get to see it in tomorrow's Pokemon Presents! Can't wait!
I LIKE your idea about coming back to the future with ancient Pokémon into the modern day is kind of brilliant
Having megas wouldn´t make sense with the lore though. Iirc it was just discovered in XY. if they suddenly had it in Hisui that must mean the people just randomly forgot about it or what?
They could say that the art of mega evelution was simply forgotten, or that the books that talked about them burned. There are things in the real world that has been forgoten, like the much better fuel for the Apollo space craft. So it isnt that vad of an idea if you ask me
@@Arch_The_Turtle or how romans made old concrete which is like so much better then ours
@@greave6720 Yeah just like that, so them finding out about Megas in X and Y, thinking they found something new cpuld still make sense
@@Arch_The_Turtle Plus, we already saw that with Megas (Rayquaza for one) in Hoenn. Though, that was 3K years ago. Though OrAs (assuming they are like the originals, taking place at the same time as the Kanto games) also take place years before XY too, so was reconned already.
@@gustavju4686 indeed so the pieces are there to make either this have Megas or the next game be it a new legends game or the new gen 9
Celebi DLC that finally concludes the story by seeing you return to the present? Maybe that could explain the modern room.
That could be cool and makes a lot of sense
could you imagine going back and forth in time, so you just casually go back and forth between sinnoh and hisui? That sounds like chaos, I'd love that.
The only way we're getting a "back to the future" thing in legends arceus is if they pull a final fantasy and you save before a final boss battle, fight the bbeg, get tear jerking cutscenes, credits roll and that's it. You can only continue if you load the save before the boss battle
I really dislike when games do that it just makes the ending of the game underwhelming
Time Traveling DLC
The Strange Ball could be tied to some additional story add on.
It's for transferring to bdsp and from bdsp to legends most likely
Since Gen 9 looks like its gonna use the same engine as Legends Arceus, Mega Evolutions could be getting saved for those games instead along with whatever gimmick they introduce for Gen 9.
It is wild looking back at that first trailer. You don't see rhyhorn in the fieldlands and chimchar is not found in the trails but I think you can find it in the upper are of it. Also, chingling is way off into the coronet mountains.
As much as I love mega evolutions bc gen6 was when I returned to pokemon, I do think the game is already amazing as it is.
I think a lot of us did, though I had previously returned for gen 4, while 5 was already out.
For the mega evolutions part, it’d make sense to have it in there because they would use the same engine for gen 9 so it could be assumed that it’s not really for legends Arceus but we might get Megas back in Scarlett and violet
Wouldn’t it make more sense to include Gigantimax?
Imagine if Megas were in Legends Arceus, Mega alpha Lopunny would be awesome.
I like the room theory.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a future update where a small space-time rift allows you to freely travel between the past and your future room.
I think that because there's a cutscene before the endgame where Prof. Laventon mentions that regardless of if you can go back to the future or not, you always have a home in Jubilife Village.
It's a stretch, but just my own opinion.
I'm not putring my hopes up but i really hope we see mega evo in legends arceus dlc
video starts at 3:20
I just realized you can see the reflection of past jubilife in the window and TV in the modern bedroom
What I can probably make out with the unused (modern) room, if ever they make a DLC about it, is for them to use it as a cutscene where the protagonist remembers what happened to him/her before being sucked in. Probably even a cutscene of him catching/battling the Pokemon that's only found in the Space-time distortions. If they did this, it could explain as to why they're in the game instead of the other 600+ mons that were left out without having to add in more pokemon to the game. (I'm never expecting them to add more Pokemon to PLA mainly because it would make the last mission to find all Pokemon impossible). Even if it's just a cutscene, it would be the most informative DLC there is.
There is actually one ability in Legends Arceus. Regigigas still has Slow Start
Why is everyone thinking the strange ball is for PLA->Home? I think it would make much more sense for the other direction, precisely because it doesn’t fit the setting of PLA, so it comes from the future, not goes to the future.
It's believed to be a two-way thing, since it's in both Legends and BDSP. Future Poké Balls sent to Legends display as Strange Balls within it until transfered out. Past Balls sent to modern games also display as Strange Balls until transfered out.
it would be awsome if the cut room for main character was used for when main characterd dose get to return back home to the future/modern time.
Just watched your video of how new generations were hinted and yeah I just wanted to tell you that copperajah's sword pokedex entry could have also been a reference to Hannibal in the ancient Rome who crossed the alps with 50 elephants during a war, thus, I think this pokedex entry could also be hinting at italy instead of India as a new pokemon region
well, we will have to wait and see since we dont know what region Cufant and Copperajah are originally from since Copperajah's Sword entry like you said did state that it wasnt originally from Galar
*heart gets broken* WHERE MY CUFANT AT?
Considering it was shown in some of the trailer clips used in this video, I'm surprised you didn't bring up the changes to the pokemon themselves that were scrapped. In the very first trailer (show in this video) were these light blue Ryhorns, but nothing like that ever surfaced in game (and it's not shiny b/c shiny Ryhorn are brown).
I really hope they bring back mega evolutions in Legends Arceus, I want my Alpha Garchomp to be even cooler!
I would like to see it too, but let's be realistic. They will wait for the generation 6 remake games for this mechanic to return. But they will certainly focus on making more regional forms.
@@bacd-nn2lg unfortunately, you’re probably right.
NO
I FREAKING HATE MEGA EVOLUTION
@@shelbybayer200 ok that I can understand cause some the pokemon that got a mega really didnt need one, and some mega's they made where just....too strong
Huh. In the unused players room, the document hanging on the wall bares similarities to the pokedex Diploma from the Galar region. I wonder what it is?
Very interesting about Mega evolution here perhaps they will return in the future someday
I wouldn't hold my breath on that since I doubt they are going to use that mechanic again in the future, I think with the gen's going forward they are simply going to leave the mechanics they introduced before just back there and not go back to them
@@bulborb8756 Until the remakes at least (like Gen 4 with seals/stickers)
It's interesting seeing what all of these are in hindsight.
Strange Ball: Yes, it's basically there for Pokemon transferred from HOME that come from non-PLA games, and the reverse is true of BDSP and SV - the Strange Ball is used as the Poke Ball for Pokemon transferred from PLA.
Mega Evolutions: My best guess is that this was basically the code they based Terastalising off of, since it is very functionally-similar to Mega Evolution. IDK if they based SV off of PLA or vice versa, but this makes the most sense in my view.
Pre-release to release: It happens sometimes. Somebody changes their mind on what they want something to look like. Though I have to say I do like the more colourful battle UI of the older build.
Player Character Room: It does look like the character's room in Twinleaf Town from DPPt and BDSP, so I think this is just meant to be for an introduction that was cut, especially since none of the objects in there have collision except for the floor and walls themselves. Sadly no DLC was ever made for this game, I don't think they ever planned it either.
Abilities: I figured this was just something they did to make it easier when they brought these Pokemon into SV.
So, about that Strange Ball
The strange ball is used for pokemon that aren't caught with poke/great/ultra balls (or their equivalent) in other games when transferred to this game.
For instance, I caught a shiny geodude in pokemon go with a premiere ball (go grunt fight) and when I transferred it to Arceus trough Home it came out of this strange ball.
The modern room is very, very similar to the player's room in BDSP
I would have thought no one back then had mega evolutions. I may be wrong though
There is also complety unused hill and forest site map in the game, at least according to OctEevee, ElChicoEeve and DeepGameResearch. This map is very interesting mystery, and let’s see in the future whether it’s related to DLC, or whether it’s cut content or just some test map.
Strange ball might be a placeholder for any ball that's not meant to be there, however it shows up (e.g. hacking, transfer).
That Strange ball looks good on my shiny torterra, if only we can change poke balls . . .
I just Subscribed to the channel! Nice video!
Ironically I was watching your video from yesterday when I got this notification
I believe they used the data from sun and moon when creating the pokedex instead of Sword and shield. Thats probably why we have data for mega evolution in PLA.
I think the unused room maybe could have be used for a DLC alongside if you all ready have BDSP Save File as a like connection thing maybe.
The strange ball is actually a way for the developers to seamlessly update and use it as a mechanism for transfers between Hisui and Sinnoh, it’s intentional and will probably be renamed.
Ursaluna having Guts. 😳 May Arceus have mercy on our souls hahah
I really really! hope they bring back mega evolutions in legends as I just caught a shiny gible and I love mega shiny garchomp!
That room is just Dawn's room from DP/BDSP. We are playing as Dawn!
Sinnoh is the Elite Region
They better add Megas in Dlc
With regard to Mega Evolutions... this game is probably built off of what they are using for Gen 9, and so I bet the reason that data is there just unused is because we might be getting mega evolutions again in Gen 9, which I think would make sense, considering it's proximity to Kalos where Mega Evolutions was first introduced.
Still not talking about the cut blue ryhorn huh
If mega evolution IS in this game, I wonder if Arceus took the player from the Dynamax dimension and put them in the Mega Evolutions dimension.
I miss mega evolution and z-moves for that matter. My 3ds broke and I haven’t been able to replace is there’s just two whole gens worth of fun lost to me until the remakes decades from now.
I just wish that the origin ball never go.
The unused player room looks awfully similar to the room we see in pokemon scarlet and violent's trailer, similar colors, and basically same wall graphics.
Man I would've loved to see mega evolution return and having maybe mega Lanturn or Ledian leaked 😔
Ledian needs it bad. It sucks so hard.
What does a Pokémon trade with the strange ball look like without the vent?
Question: how did you get that version of the baneful fox mask?
I have a theory in regards to Legends Arceus DLC: Beni will move to Hoenn and send back the missing Sinnoh pokemon and possible people that can be found in the Hoenn region. Then we'll find an ancestor of Roark and Steven Stone among them.
New games in 2022, anyone else surprised.
Kleavor and hisuian braveary with sheer force
Hoops and hiphop = best poke tuber
I don’t know why but I have the feeling they could have had the idea to allow the Protagonist to customize the place they lived but it seems like a stretch
Are you ever going to do a cut content video for Galar?
I'm crying at Sheer Force Kleavor
I wonder what reason theyll give to all of these Hisuian forms/extinct pokemon are avalible in future games? Or is it gonna be like the Spikey-Eared Pichu and her being trapped in HeartGold or SoulSilver due to 'traveling through time'. Meaning theyre trapped in whatever game you obtained them in. I hope not. I also hope the alpha status is kept. Id love to have my alpha shiny H. Typhlosion in a different game.
Sad that this game barely got updated
Ursaluna with guts will be fun😎
Just so you know Meltan and melmetal had abilities encoded into let's go Pikachu and Eevee
No hidden abilities? Tell that to poor ol Regigas or however you spell its name.
That's what I immediately thought when I saw the room
I wish hisuian Decidueye and hisuian Typhlosion weren't in the game
Am I greedy for thinking Hisuin forms for the starters isn’t enough and I want mega evos for those guys as well?
How do I get the Shiny Baneful Fox Mask?
Shiny hisuian zroark mask??!! How?! Cut content?
Meanwhile, here I am stil struggling with those wild GMax Kanto Starters
Thing have got pretty strange… Also out of hand. *Lillie hold a strange ball and Mega stone in the unused room*
I think the protagonist just got isekai from real world without pkmn to pkmn world.
the coal galarian weezing is unused.
I'm hoping the sinnoh starters get mega evolution forms
Mega torterra X pure grass type with the leaf guard ability, Y grass/fairy type with the serene grace ability
Mega infernape X still a Fire/fighting type with the pure power ability, Y fire/ice type with the slush rush ability
Mega empoleon X a Water/flying type with the storm drain ability, Y water water/steel with the heatproof ability
Why do most of the diamond and pearl clan main members has armbands could that mean they may have been for the mega ring or something
I really love Faz Faz
The room is gen 9
You forgot about gen 9
This video was relesed on the day i bought Legends Arceus..
Why does nobody ever talk about the blue Rhyhorn from the very first reveal trailer?
Because it's just the lighting of the older version of the game
@@boltybolt1697 All other Pokémon looked normal to me. How can lighting be so different that grey becomes light blue?
Hey. You know how mega Evolution is in the data of pla. Maybe that was testing to see how mega pokemon would do in an open world surrounding. So what if mega evolution is in gen 9 and is a part of the story. Look at it this way. Gen 6 had mega. Then gen 3 got mega when it was remade.
Mega evolution If They Done that Az Should Come in pla
