This guy has no idea how to put the phone back together, first the piece needs to be above the metal heat plate, and then when he cuts the footage the flappy piece is BELOW THE HEAT PLATE WITH NO EXPLANATION!!! thanks for making me take the whole thing apart when I realized what you did wrong.

Okay so my repair took 45 minutes in total. I thought it was easy in the beginning but the part with the ear piece and all the other cables around that area and the camera/lens were the most difficult for me. The video is honestly out of focus in some key parts. I am just glad that I managed to repair my iPhone 6 at a fraction of the cost. Thank you.

What a great guide, thank you. I just have a quick question if you could answer please? At 15:46 you mention that the thermal plate will slip under the upper end of the LCD flex, but then at 16:28 it is clearly under the thermal plate? Which is correct, does it belong above, or underneath?

Hi, I have a question. I did everything accordingly but I end up with 2 problems. First the touch id is not working saying that is unable to connect and gives failed connection. And the second problem is that at random time the screen goes off, but the backlit is lit i can see the light but no picture. I lock/unlock the phone from the lock button a few times and the picture comes back on... What did I do wrong ?

Hey! Thanks for this. I know this is oriented for your iCracked replacement piece, but from other vendors, the clear, circular camera-holder for the front facing camera may not be included. It was not in mine and I just removed it and used a tiny amount of super glue to put it in the right position on the new screen.
    Super solid replacement guide!

When I try to flip the camera to the front side, the screen just turns black. I am not sure where the problem is. Is the camera broken, the flex cable damaged, or did i break the logic board? No idea. Help would be really appreciated. Thank you! :). (Great video btw!)

Just did this and it worked close to perfectly. The display I bought unfortunately came without the front camera plastic piece, without the white proximity filter and without the plastic dust cover. However, I switched these over, and followed the other steps and the iPhone is now good as new.
I do wonder if my front camera microphone picked up sound better before though, but I dont have a comparison so I cannot test that out. Not that big of a deal anyways as the phone got 2 other fully working mics :)
Thanks for the video iCracked :)

this video is WRONG, the LCD bar is in the wrong place. at 15:49 he talks about putting the thermal plate below the LCD bar, but at 22:38 you can clearly see it is underneath!!!! twats, now I have to undo everything!!!!! Also he misses out entirely the two translucent plastic guards around the front camera and some other part, if you don't move these across your iphone shell will crack around the earpiece.

A well presented video with clear instructions. Just one point I disagree with is when you say that if when testing the digitizer the icon drops indicates logic board damage !!!. If the icon does drop then it means the digitizer is not functioning properly because of the cracks and not logic board damage !!!. Sorry to be a little fussy lol. In fairness though, a great video.

Good job at explaining! The only problems I had were the cable going underneath the thermal plate and the order of cables connecting at to the phone part. It might have been the display I bought where they were out of order but I figured it out eventually. Also every time I replace a screen myself the display seems a little grayer or more contrasted? Weird
