Seriously, the best DIY video on the web!!! I just completed the replacement. Thank you soo much!!!
It worked! Only cost me fifteen dollars for the replacement screen and a bit of patience! I had the issue that the iphone wouldnt turn on again, and when connected to a charger only blinked the apple logo. Turns out I disconnected the battery so after I fixed that now everything works 100% perfectly fine! Thank you!
Awesome step by step guide, many thanks! I took my time following the guide and successfully replaced the screen without any issue whatsoever. Very pleased and of course relieved too!
Thank you for the clear, step-by-step instructions!
very methodical and meticulous approach, thank you. oh and great sound, which is more than I can say for many of the other videos I TRIED to watch.
I have replaced several screens. This was the best instructional video I have seen so far! Thanks
Great instructions. I just completed my iPhone's screen replacement and it works. Thank you.
Thank you for your detailed explanation! I now have a fully working phone again with no cracks in the screen! Although I was pretty nervous while (dis)assembling the phone and got mad on you everytime you said something about what could potentially break and damage my phone :D
Brilliant, saved me a fortune. Thank you
Great video mate. Much appreciated.
Lol 9:10 man's is nervous af of. Something 🤣🤣🤣
Very helpful video. Thanks
Dziękuję bardzo. Super video. Pozdrawiam
Great video, great instructions and clear details. Thank you very much I was able to repair my mum iphone :-)
Just completed this, besides the gasket. I messed that up and said f it. At least screen works and not cracked. Thanks a lot
Thankyou for this, I bought the tools, a reconditioned screen, followed the instructions and it works perfectly..
I was a bit nervous but got more confident as I went along..the only thing I need to go back to is the gasket, the one I bought just didn't have a enough stick to stay in the housing..thanks again
fantastic video. I must have done at least two of the "do not do" actions :)
just fixed my Iphone 7 using you guide and works perfect, great video
Does the Touch ID work
wow! it worked! awesome!
took about 4 hours though!
THIS IS THE ONE TO WATCH
great vid thanks
Very good video
Thanks for the video. After changing the disply step by step as you have described, everything went well but unfortunately wenn I am typing a message and I need special caracters on the left side of the screen like ä, á, à etc the screen is reacting very strange and showing my the other apps that are open or just jump to the left side of the screen. Are you able to tell me what can I do solve this Issue? Should I open again? I had difficulties on the last part but I think everything is connected well. Thanks for your help
Great video, but as a tip you guys should make the videos with white-screened iPhones because it’s easier to differentiate between pieces that you need to remove, and the metal frame of the phone
Good teacher
I broke my front facing camera cable the other day and my phone is still working perfectly fine 😂
The iPhone used to be incredibly complex to replace the screen, then they made it super easy, and now they made it complex af again
Gracias
òtimo trabalho. Obrigado!
I cannot get the screws out of the home button bracket!!!
actually i'm not good at English, but I sucessed!!! Thank you so much!!!
easy understand what you did !!! Thank-you
Cool video. Always very detailed. But you can totally tell you had already loosened the adhesive around the frame and the front camera assembly beforehand. Lol
sopadre77 No not really. I don’t heat the adhesive. I just use a flathead screwdriver to pry it up and then slide my fingernail around the edges until it opens. And I’ve fixed over 300 phones.
Devon Bunkley I'll try that
You can still tell he had already taken that flex cable off though. That's why he's holding it with his finger while he heats it up; so it won't fall out. Lol! Plus watch when the light and proximity sensors come out. The mic is already lifting off too. You can literally see where it's already been separated from the adhesive. That's what the white stuff is. I see it everyday as I'm sure you do to.
I've just replaced the Display Assembly on my iPhone 8 and now my home button doesn't work. Is this just a result of using an aftermarket Display Assembly? Or did I damage the home button cable during the install? The result is I've enabled the digital home button icon, but now just can't use fingerprint ID. Everything else works.
I had a lot of problems putting it together those screws where too tiny.
man i got the apple screen stuck....idk how...i did the front camera part as carefully as possible?! i didnt feel any damage or scraped anyting? why?!
My iPhone 8 home button has broken I want to fix it .
Hi, does anyone know of a reputable source to purchase a new home button? I accidentally damaged mine while attempting the repair
Can’t get the fingerprint cable to lock in, any suggestions?
Broke my dam home button. I tighted the middle screw and thw whole button just turned with the screw and at that moment i knew.... I f up
JUST FIXED IPHONE 7 SCREEN BUT WHEN I TRY YO TURN IT ON THE APPLE BLINKS ON AND THEN OFF OVER AND OVER AGAIN
Damaged Front camera ribbon cable 👍
maybe try restore, idk if you still need to know after a year tho
what a guy...this phone's front camera was previously removed and he shows that he is removing it for the first time.....
Noticed your screen came with the thermal plate.. Does it come off as simple as the iPhone 7?
Devon Bunkley the thermal plate is held with 6 Y000 screws on the sides of the iPhone 7 screen. The bottom portion is adhered with light adhessive on top of the ribbon cables (home and LCD digitizer cables). It came off much easier than the 6S, I know that for sure
you just took off your screen and put it back on... 18:46 ...that screen is completely different...
Anybody about to replace your screen with an aftermarket screen on your iP 8, Louis Rossman said Apple will disable the screen after you update to the next firmware update after doing so. I have not personally verified this but the guy does Apple product repairs for a living. Just a heads up.
i have broke the conecter to the front camara and it still boot up but i have no front camara
i have the issue of my phone not loading past the apple logo screen, so if i replace the home button or camera parts will it work again?
did you fix it later somehow? have the same issue..
@@LukasTalab it was so long ago I really can’t remember but I know it’s not the button. And my camera is still messed up but my phone works fine, so it’s got to be the battery that just needs to be replaced.
@@universallink791 thanks!
Where do you get that pre cut adhesive??
We offer all kinds of tools.
👍
Is it true that if you replace a screen on an iPhone 8 running ios11 it will lock it out?

I did not see any crack on the phone when removed glass screen from :

8:41......sooooo i went to take off a screw for the speaker, and it stripped....what should i do now?
a year late but it should be fine without it. if you mean you cant get it out i would just use something to get it out, glue something to it or use a flat head that's a bit bigger
@@slimsqde7397 i ended up putting it back together and using it without the speaker and front camera. Then i wet the phone and its currently dead lol. Btw if the water got thru my cracked screen do you think it can still be repaired? Or should i just kiss ot goodbye?
You need better lighting since the phone is black
I always laugh and roll my eyes when these unknown channels title their videos as "Official" - yeah... no.
