Rebecca and Megan Lovell formed the southern roots rock duo Larkin Poe in 2010 after the disbandment of their americana/bluegrass project "the Lovell Sisters". As Larkin Poe, the duo wield guitar and lap steel with ferocity, belting out vocal lines that match the intensity of this aggressive instrumentation. They're born stars whose experience collaborating with Elvis Costello, Conor Oberst and T Bone Burnett has given the sisters full control of every stage on which they perform. I feel most if not all of their stuff is better live. The albums are cool! But they have this energy live and it's raw and "in ya face", no playin' around.
I can't see them in the studio version, so yes, this much much better.
@ There are some major differences between "studio performance" and "studio recording". For example, recording voices and instruments in independent sessions and all the postproduction tweaks.
Why does this not have millions and millions of views?
Super slick Ideas from the drummer on a lot of their songs--. Riding the toms during a lot of the vocals is Great,, keeps those cymbal Sonics OUT of the way of those GORGEOUS Vocals-- I hope they appreciate this drummer.

Hope to see you all live this year if things open up and you can tour. A tribute is not a rip-off, it's a compliment. Vanilla Ice did not pay tribute to Queen, he ripped off their song "Under Pressure". This band here pays tribute, thus showing their admiration and appreciation for, Bonnie Raitt.
