Immortal technique has a really great track FREEDOM OF SPEECH that incorporates the sing-song scene from Pinocchio that's says "I got no strings to hold me down" always a fun listen from someone who's usually a bit more gritty.

This last verse... Leave You immensly uncomfortable and in the same time VERY impressed. 😅
Like... You start to think over all those gangsta-kids and 'what if something LIKE THAT happened IRL'.

I love brother Ali's verse. And it bring back a memory of me trying to buy a copy of the Quran from a street merchant in a muslim town in south eastern Europe.
He refused to charge me for it, when I told him I am a Christian he insisted on giving it for free, and said something along the lines of "Then you have to read it, just to know us brother".
It's such a small thing but I always think of that interaction fondly.

I grew up with this guys music in my head. Its helped me through so much.. Ive been watching your react videos and I love em. Im a huge comedy fan and I love the way you just watch and check it out and just calmy throw in some insight. Im gonna try and watch more. I definitely liked your Lorna Shore react too. I LOVE that music. You just checked it out and appreciated it and said it wasnt for you. Thats really cool..
My favorite line of this this song is "its harder for the hooker that he beat the shit outta" It stands out to me a lot in acknowledging struggles i suppose that the world doesnt and i think thats important.
Itd be a really cool world if everyone was born into happiness and respect rather than servitude and struggle and i hate how people are treated so terribly for how they find ways to survive.
Anyways. Thanks for the videos and insight!

As a Belgian, the "stay in your placism" is probably a feeling for many here I imagine.
Black guy in the soccer team? Amazing.
Same black guy in politics? Ow no...
Like, it doesn't necessarily comes from a place of hate or anything I think.
The differences between artists like this is almost never a thing about being able to do something but more about deciding to do something.
4 artists that draw can all draw large portions equally well if all talented. The drawings they do create aren't about them being limited in what they can do but them deciding to do it like that.
So all of these rappers have largely overlapping talents. It's the decisions that they make that make them stand out. Immortal technique can rap softer but he DECIDES not to and the same goes for the rest. They just all "do their thing".

    I completely agree
    However
This stay in your place-ism exists on all sides. Immortal technique also says this in another of his tracks
“I have more in common with most broke white people than I do with rich Black and Latino people, we need understand that class is the real issue”

I agree with you, and I think it's because he, among a few others, bring about the unfiltered radical side that rap/hip-hop was founded on. He's a socialist and he studied history on an international scale. He just has all of this knowledge of the machine that is controlling every nation, and I think a lot of leftists admire that about him.
