He is an absolute poet... Like, he's got his doctorate in underground hip-hop. It's fuckin dark, very, very honest, political, historical and a real life story is told in every song. AANNDDDD... HE owns technique, never sold out to any label... Which is why he can spit lyrics in the way only he can. 🖤

In college my friend directed a short film I worked on based on this song, I'm surprised they even allowed us to screen it in festivals
This is hands down one of the best storytelling songs in all of hip-hop!! Check out “the point of no return”, “Harlem Streets”, “caught in a hustle”, and “internally bleeding” to name a few. Also “ voices of The Voiceless”. It’s amazing how much these songs are even more true than they were when he made them!
One of the greatest story telling song. It is a fictional story, including the shocking reveal in the last verse. Immortal Technique has said he wrote it intentionally in that manner to highlight the kind of things happening in hoods all the time.
Another great song from Immortal Technique is You Never Know. Heartbreaking is the only word I can use to describe it.

'You Never Know' is the saddest song in the world 😥 A few of my fave songs (way too many to mention) "Land of the Gun, That's What it is, Treason, Live, Obnoxious, Caught in a Husle, Street Hustle, Leaving the Past, The Cause of Death.. I could name so many more ❤
Yo guys watching this first thing Sunday Morn' is a great start to the day. Immortal Tech is hands down my favourite rapper too many people sleeping on his music. You have to go down the rabbit hole to truly understand the intelligence of this man and how deep his lyrics are. For starters I recommend "Front lines" with Diabolic. "Toast to the dead" and "Point of no return." I could go on but hey...

You should do the whole of revolutionary volume 2. This song isn't on it but it's his strongest album in my opinion. You will not be disappointed!
The story that I heard was that DJ Klever said the word nugga during a session with Royce's brother. Yela wasn't there. It got back to Royce and he wanted Yela to make another grown man apologize. Yela wouldn't and that's why they had a problem.
