He's got a lot of amazing features with a lot of other underground artists who also have an amazing, an arguably even better catalogue, in some instances. Jedi Mind Tricks, CF, Apathy, Outerspace, Diabolic, etc.
2nd guy is R.A., checkout uncommon valor, it's a song about his dad in Vietnam. And learn truth with talib kweli, another solid song about political culture
Bruh... we need more Immortal Technique on this channel. 4th Branch, 3rd World, Industrial Revolution, Obnoxious, Internally Bleeding, Bin Laden, Point of No Return.... all bangers. Just stay away from Dance with the Devil for now. That shit tends to scare people away from Immortal Technique Oh and Immortal Technique went first on this track
"Third World" for sure. Green Lantern's production on that whole album was great. "Rich Man's World" is another good one. (Just found there was a vid for that one- didn't know.)
The second rapper, R.A. the Rugged Man, has arguably the greatest guest verse in history on the song: Jedi Mind Tricks - Uncommon Valor. It tells the story of the Vietnam war from the perspective of his veteran father who got agent orange poisoning.
Dude, you gotta warn him first. If you dance with the devil he will follow you for life. I'll never forget that song. I think it helped keep me from going further into the streets.
Between 1932 and 1972 the US Public Health Service and CDC conducted an unethical study called the “Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male” where they told 600 impoverished Black male sharecroppers participating in the study they were receiving free health care from the government, but instead monitored their latent syphilis infections. The men were initially told that the study was only going to last six months, but it was extended to 40 years. After funding for treatment was lost, the study was continued without informing the men that they would never be treated. None of the infected men were treated with penicillin despite the fact that by 1947, the antibiotic was widely available and had become the standard treatment for syphilis.
Second this motion. The vid cracks me up, like: "We need awesome costumes... there's a box and some sharpies... yep, that'll work." And "Definition of a Rap Flow". And all of R.A.'s videos for the new album, straight killing it. Brains, skills, heart, humor, pure love of the greats of old school hip-hop. Maybe even his "WAP(word)" remake, too.
@@spacecase2031 Yeah, Immortal Technique takes silliness out of the equation. But that's also why it was such a treat for him to be on this album, after R.A. said he doesn't like talking politics on the last album.
Immortal is the most pissed off rapper out there lol. I love him, he used to show up at various activism events I attended. Always speaking out, a good dude.
Look at you, reacting to the real shit on this platform. The underground. The realest and best fans to ever exist. Rugged man. Immortal technique. Vinnie paz. We love it!
Do more more of the first rapper, Immortal Technique. Rich Man’s World is a must see, but 4th Branch, 3rd World, Point of No Return, and Civil War are also insane too.
It could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's Jedi mind tricks.... Rugged Man might have a verse in it but it's definitely not his song.. unless he has his own solo song with the same name
@@dwaynelambkin5144 yes, it is also a Jedi Mind Tricks song feat. RA, which is somewhat hard to find, but RA also put his verse out on one of his records as well. If he can find a vid of the jedi mind tricks version, then that works just as well!
I T is an insanely intelligent and skilled lyricist... you should really react to his song Civil war if you havent already ( ft. Killer Mike and Brother Ali with a chorus by Chuck D.)
R.A. has been around since beginning of Biggie's career. He's been blackballed by the industry but in the process became an underground hip-hop legend. His verse in the song Uncommon Valor is considered one of the best verse in the 90s, up the with likes of Deck's verse on Triumph, Nas' verse on Verbal Intercourse... etc. Dope. As for Immortal Technique, he's a lytical monster too but most his content is hard left activist stuff. These boys are top tier MCs.
Immortal technique has been a staple of mine for over 10 years. Led me down the path of questioning history and the media (through hip hop) I recommend Eye in the sky and Voices of the voiceless (with lowkey) Love from the UK
I’m so happy every time I find out that you’ve reacted to artists that I consider to be significantly out of the mainstream, but still high up in my favorites list. R. A. The Rugged Man has several songs that I love.
Tech and RA are two of the most talented lyricists I've ever heard. EDIT: RA's dad was the Vietnam vet, check out the Jedi Mind Tricks song Uncommon Valor
Immortal Tech is badass, I think his song Dance With the Devil is my favorite rap all time. Just every word is so clear, passionate, and in your face. you get a perfect visual of the story of it. Not for the weak of heart tho.
The 2nd was RA. His dad, brother, sister, & nephew died of complications of agent orange exposure in Vietnam. That's why he always rocks the Vietnam gear.
writing this comment 27 seconds in, after hearing it is the first time you hearing of both artists, i know for a fact that you woun't be disappointed and i hope you delve deeper into both rabbit holes that are their discographies as there is a lot to be amazed by both
Hey brother, I’m a new subscriber. I really don’t subscribe to these type of channels but I do like watching ppl reactions to new/old music. I extremely do like your unbiased ways when it comes down to just being real especially when you commented about our flag. You don’t like seeing our flag being burn but yet you wouldn’t had done anything because one thing that ppl don’t understand is we as Americans we are free to express our opinions freely that’s what this great nations gives us. Many do hate what the flag represents because we all know our nation has done some crazy evil things just to benefit this country. Anyways, Immortal Technique has many of these type of hip-hop poetry. Enjoy
You struck gold here, my man. First guy is Immortal Technique who's a political rapper, originally from Peru, so you can imagine the content of his music. All his stuff is amazing, but you definitely have to check out "Dance With the Devil". It showcases absolute masterful storytelling abilities. R.A. the Rugged Man is naaasty as well. He was actually co-signed by Biggie Smalls, so that should say alot. You should listen to "Uncommon Valor", which would explain the Vietnam veteran beanie. 2 artists that I've litterally never heard a bad track from Great reaction as always!
Uncommon valor with RA the rugged man and learned truth is a must listen and dance with the devil and 3rd world for immortal technique are my person choices
I think the only reason he's burning the flag is that his father was a Vietnam vet, got exposed to Agent Orange, and some of his children (RA's siblings) suffered from severe birth defects, leading to at least one of their deaths.
The first guy is Immortal Technique, his must-listen songs are: Dance With the Devil Industrial Revolution Civil War (feat. Ghostface Killah, Masta Killa and Kool G Rap) All Systems Go E.K.N.Y. (feat. Inspectah Deck & Timbo King)

It sucks he only has 4 (arguably 5) albums

Agree with "uncommon valour: A Vietnam story." It's Jedi Mind Tricks ft R A the Rugged Man

❤️
Came here to say the same thing... Highly recommend this song for your next video. Also "Fourth Branch" by Immortal Technique.
It gives me chills listening to it even over 10 years later. For real
Finally some R.A! Keep doing him please
definition of a rap flow by RA is a MUST listen
I absolutely second this!
Played it like three times today!
The title says it all.
The whole Legends Never Die album is amazing.

2nd is RA. Listen to everything of his.
We need a couple more tracks before DWTD. People tend to steer away after hearing that
