Ive got one and i absolutely love it. Fits me superbly and the balance is wonderful. Best gun i have ever owned. Also as its a CG you can get a factory service done in the UK, where they check the gun over and replace and upgrade parts to the latest specification. Highly recommended.
I was wondering when you would get to Guerinis. The first thing any serious competitive shooter should consider is whether the shotgun they pick has "legacy" qualities. The Invictus series checks all the boxes! Most quality shotguns can be re-built once they wear but the Invictus system (i.e., block, cam, fore end adjustment) allow you to keep the "feel" you prefer rather than just having to break in a new gun. If I were starting over, the Invictus would be my first choice. Quality, looks, options, warranty and service are pretty much as good as it gets. Oh yeah, they also shoot like a demon! Thanks for another great video!
Thank you for your comment and kind words. I have to agree that the whole ethos behind this gun is excellent. Very impressive throughout. Kind regards, Matthew
I only started shooting this year and have a invictus 5 ascent with the kinetic balancer fitted to the stock and absolutely love it . Keep up the good work Matt as I'm a avid follower of the channel 👍
I bought a invictus 1 assent this year after having Beretta's and Brownings, the invictus is the nicest smooth shotting shotgun i have ever shot, i wish they came on to my radar sooner, if you get the chance to shoot a demo one take it you may not want to give it back.
I have an Invictus V Ascent. Great gun, lovely to look at and to shoot. My only complaint is that the stock marks very easily, much more so than my old Berretta. Maybe I am just clumsy, but after a few thousand shots its looking a bit second hand.
Thank you for your comment. My assumption is that your older Beretta was pre 2006/7. This is when Beretta used to use Tru oil on their woodwork which is rock hard and difficult to mark. Kind regards, Matthew
I’ve got one of these that’s been teagued there fantastic it’s a great shame they’ve stopped making the Mspec barrels and there isn’t an option for a black action in the invictus line it’s the barrels and handling that sold the Mspec to me as a gun I had to have after trying Josh Browns CG he had been given to try by CG uk
I have an Invictus 1 love it, I have handled a M Spec in a gun room they are special. With the longer barrels they should be nose heavy but straight out of the box they are balanced perfectly. Big Caesar fan boy I will admit so slightly bias.
Brought a new one from Ian Coley in the Summer, cannot fault the gun or the service from Coleys, recommend going to Ian Coleys & getting them to fit the gun to the shooter as I did, makes all the difference, cannot recommend the gun or Ian Coleys high enough!
I owned one in CG's early days, a Woodcock model, it was a lovely gun, also later had a Magnus, not such a nice gun in my opinion. My local gunsmith hates anything CG, that has put me off another. Unsure of the current range, do they even make a game gun anymore?
@@richardtimms8733 I haven´t had one apart yet, so the internals might be crude, unless his opinion is based of how they were in the early days. I´m sure they have evolved over the years in some ways. Personally I think they are a bit to "pretty", some of the models, like the Invictus II Sporting/trap are simply vulgar.
Hello. Can you help me and email me the information? What is the weight of the barrels of this model? Thank you very much in advance. INVICTUS 1 black mspec SPORTING 12 cal. Fixed chokes in modified. 81cm barrel.
Thank you for your comment. Apologies but that was an omission on my part. I made an assumption but as you can clearly see from the video, I was wrong. HP steel shot proof for sue. Kind regards, Matthew

Hi
Invictus M-spec is still available and it is still possible to order a separate M-Spec barrel if you wish, in 30” 32” and even 34”
@@Frederiksberegvej I was told they’ve stopped making them last year as I wanted a 34” and then got told they’ve stopped making them

@richardtimms8733 Ask him to specify why he hates them.
@@1valg he says they look wonderful, but not very well finished off internally, glorified Rizzi's,

@@1valg yes these were earlier models, not these later models.
They look ok, but they don't really cater much for the Game shooter in my opinion.
@@richardtimms8733 Agreed. They do seem to lean more towards competition, allthough the Apex looks the part 😄

"CIP Steel proof, Not High Performance steel proof". Surely the Fleur de Lis is HP steel proof isnt it, thanks

They look like spruced up Lincoln.
😂😂😂 "A polished turd" as I remember someone once describing CG.
