      @AndreasAhlqvist-un5bq I had a friend who was not into training, fairly strong in a general sense, but had an absolutely phenomenal grip due to years of wood working and holding wood in place while working on it. I had a web device - heavy duty rubber on a heavy metal ring - designed for top athletes and he bent it out of shape! Also, people who are naturally strong often don't feel the need to train as much. Another friend of mine was skinny and said weights had not done anything for him at all. I looked at his weights and he didn't have many, so I think that a) he had no real idea of how to find an appropriate load and b) probably didn't have enough weights to challenge him, esp. if he was only doing a few reps per set.

      @@karobahuz3344 I don t agree with either of you fully. So let me try and give you bothba different perspective. Schoolboy has been training since he as a little kid. Most likely played around since 4 or 5 years old. He armwrestled seriously in his very early teenage years. Had a around 2 years pause playing games on PC . Then at 15 he started training professionally again. Since then he has many years training and armwrestling. And has at least 5 years of consistent professional training currently. Schoolboy is 20 years old now. He has no doubt a lot more growth ahead of him. But basic biology says that once you trained for so long so hard you can t possibly become twice as strong as you currently are already ( without abusing some stuff at least ) . Schoolboy will grow further. But he is not a superhuman. He still is bound by biological laws and genetical limitations. For example , I don t believe he will ever become more than 50% stronger than he already is right now naturally even if he continues to train non stop. He will get better , he will be more knowledgeable , he will be smarter or even faster , but his strength can t possibly continue to grow unchecked just because he is young. He trained many , many years profesionally. His body is very adapted to armwrestling and has many years of refining itself to this sport. Saying he will continue to grow just as much or as fast like he did until now is illogical ( naturally ) . That being said , schoolboy ,i he remains injury free and consistent in his training , will for sure become a world class armwrestler , top 10 globally EVENTUALLY ( as in many years from now ) .

    • @Katatsuky
      @Katatsuky 4 роки тому +3

      The official ratings aren't accurate. People use something called RGC rating to determine how tough each individual gripper is (how much weight it takes for the handles to touch). That number can vary quite a bit even for grippers that are the same model. That being said, it also isn't representative of the real amount of strength it takes to close with your hand. For reference, I have a CoC2 that requires around 69KG to close (measured my grip with a dynamometer), but its RGC rating is just under 50KG.
