Just a quick question. After hitting the clip behind you, how soon do you bring your rod forward? Is it straight away or after the feeder hits the water? Thanks
Great explaning Nick and video, u use the stradic ci4 4000 what about that strange lineclip from Shimano, because most people say not to use it for feeder fishing ask it also by Shimano ?
Why do you set the clutch so light? It goes against everything that I've ever learned about playing fish but knowing the way Nick fishes I'm sure there is a reason.
Everyone is different buddy. I don't use the drag at all as I use a bait runner when feeder fishing but always prefer to backwind. A lot of people who do feeder fish don't use a bait runner but a lot of the waters they fish it's a fish every few minutes with the F1 populations but in the Midlands especially we don't have the type of waters like Lindhome etc. Each to there own and whatever is comfortable for you 👍
This is about the fourth or fifth video I’ve watched this morning and I’m curious as to why no matter where all you guys fish in all the videos you make you all want to put your bait within 12 inches of the opposite bank. Why is it that all the fish can only be found on the opposite bank?
Not mine cup of thea anyway fisheries or man made pounds. English like them I live in the Netherlands we fish in normal freewaters maybe less carp but nature normal.
Genius that thinks about all aspects of his fishing. I love to watch him in action, you learn so much from Nick.

Great video Nick,Thank you.
Excellent video. Do you think having a running method feeder helps eleminate line twist as opposed to a fixed feeder?
brilliant nick...going to try the clip method behind me...but if i do hit the trees or the bank beware your dead.....great info nick well done mate

Nick I’m no expert, but after you have used the booster liquid in the pellets, you use the pellet water in your method mix ?
I struggle with preparation for the method feeder.
