The thinking angler, this twosome works so well because Andy ask’s all the right questions, in a way we can all take it in, IMHO thank you both and a special thanks to camera man 👏👍💪💪
Watched this video... two days later fished a match and was struggling... so tried this method had 5 fish in 7 casts put me back in contention.... thank you Jamie and Andy for a well explained method....quality 👍
Jamie. TRied this method on Molly's lake, Birkwood Fisheries, Wakefield. Followed your advice to the tee. And.............worked like a dream. I had one bream after another, what a sesh!! Thanks a bunch Mr Hughes.
Jamie & Andy, This style of video is great with some top tips for Feeders, Bait, Hook lengths and casting. More of the same please. Best regards, Wayne 😀👍
You two are the best and the most interesting people in the world of fishing also very funny and also most of all you keep things simple and easy to understand for the pleasure anglers like my self keep up the great work boys love your videos so entertaining thanks
Love watching guys and hoping to enter my first match at some point this year due to vids like this getting me keen to try. Love you 2 guys and look forward to plenty more tips and laughs
Hi you two , I have just got back in to finishing again and I can not wait to get out fishing soon . I in joy your videos that you make keep up the great work and be safe 🙏from colin bradford Milton Keynes.
Brilliant advice as always. is there any way that the lads can do a video detailing the difference between skrettins and coppens and thier different uses??? please??? ta very muchly
Jamie. I tried this at Hallcroft yesterday, and had my first 20lb common carp from the venue. It had taken me 5 years fishing the place twice a week to catch that fish. So thanks for the head up Jamie. 21.30z
Great video as usual lads, seeing Jamie moulding the pellets onto the feeder by hand is there any time you guys would use a pellet/groundbait mould to put the feed onto the feeder
Very informative and well explained as usual, great way to loose a rod if you forget the clutch😄. If allowed would you use a backshot to deck the line near the feeder ?
Nice vlog Jamie and Andy loving the top tips and the banter 👍👍👍Jamie does finding that right depth, type of bottom of the venue and type of feeder make the difference getting those extra bites?
You need to know what you are fishing on, no matter what method you are using. At the very least a quick check to make sure there are no big snags or bars where you are fishing, but if you know if you are fishing on silt or gravel, you can make adjustments accordingly.
Great video again guys, just a bit confused how Jamie says he doesn't use coloured hookbaits but a couple of days ago there was 4 coloured spotted fin method hookbaits came out?
A natural 'pellet' colour is often the starting point, which is why there is one in his new range, but always pays to have options covered. Some days something bright will get you bites quicker. All about working it out on each venue and session. Hence carrying a selection :)
Just thread it up your line and attach a swivel or quick change bead. Most will have full instructions for that specific feeder on the back of the packaging :)
Going to try this method next weekend, however, the water is IMO plagued by bream. Haven't really found a method that gets past them yet, hopefully this succeeds. :) great vid as always, cheers.
The main thing is trying not to wind when the clutch is giving line, but it's just one of those things that will happen when catching lots of fish. Just keep an eye on the line and be prepared to replace it if it starts getting really bad.
Hi would u need to use a pellet binder if you just use micros from fishery soaked normally I'm just worried when I cast in that the micro are just coming off before the method feeder gets to the bottom cheers guys any tips
It makes things more secure but you can use your keepnet as a rest, ideally wedge the butt ring on the rod behind the rim of the keepnet to make it more secure 💪🏻
Think smaller fish do attract the bigger ones to the bait. The big ones come in like the typical bully and give it the “shove off this is mine” attitude.

Mega! That’s what we like to hear 🥳
Great tips with regards to loading the feeder. Just shows why Jamie Hughes is next level!

3brewster Thank you I’m getting better and itching to get out again. Bill
Great video as usual lads, seeing Jamie moulding the pellets onto the feeder by hand is there any time you guys would use a pellet/groundbait mould to put the feed onto the feeder
Love your videos
I’m off to my local venue soon to fish the method it makes a nice change from sitting behind rods waiting for the alarms
Great vid as usual. So easy to watch and learn. One question, what was the rod and reel in use please?
Very informative and well explained as usual, great way to loose a rod if you forget the clutch😄. If allowed would you use a backshot to deck the line near the feeder ?
Great video. One question I have is when and why do you decide to start short or long?
Nice vlog Jamie and Andy loving the top tips and the banter 👍👍👍Jamie does finding that right depth, type of bottom of the venue and type of feeder make the difference getting those extra bites?

I do groundbait in my 2 mm pellets works like a charm on top stir a syrup through it and you have texture cloudiness smellnes in one go
Lol the comment about pouring twelve flasks while waiting for a bite. So true. One question: what test curve tip did Jamie use?
your intro tune sounds so much like Korda's for thinking tackle
‘He give me the look folks’.. legend,? The sport needed Andy may!
You make me sick moll 😂😂😂👊🏻💯

I am fishing the new match lakes at sessay tomorrow I am going to give this a go
Also at Sessay tomorrow 👌
Hi guys thank you for the video Fairly new to Fishing how do you tie the method feeder
Just thread it up your line and attach a swivel or quick change bead. Most will have full instructions for that specific feeder on the back of the packaging :)
Would you not use a bait runner reel rather than messing with the drag on close chucks 👍
Hi Jamie love your tips, being an older fisherman can you refer to line diameter say 0.6 to pounds please. would help me alot.
Steve G Nottingham
Just have a look on most spools, they will have it in both so you can convert between the two 👍🏻
Hi guys was wondering if this method would work for tench fishing?
Going to try this method next weekend, however, the water is IMO plagued by bream. Haven't really found a method that gets past them yet, hopefully this succeeds. :) great vid as always, cheers.
Is antireverse on when casting then off when waiting for a bite cheers
like him to try it on a local club water where the fish are hard to catch
whats the green thing stopping the feeder going down the line to the hook?
Quick change bead
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
👍👍👍❤
How do you deal with the line twist you get through playing fish on the clutch 👍
The main thing is trying not to wind when the clutch is giving line, but it's just one of those things that will happen when catching lots of fish. Just keep an eye on the line and be prepared to replace it if it starts getting really bad.
@@WinningWays thanks for the reply
Have a look at a "spin doctor" to remove line twist
This is like jamie taking his son fishing “(Andy) you live wire”
Watching how Andy sits makes my back ache
Nxt week and jamie says in 2weeks time ha ha
Hi would u need to use a pellet binder if you just use micros from fishery soaked normally I'm just worried when I cast in that the micro are just coming off before the method feeder gets to the bottom cheers guys any tips
Generally just soak them for a couple of mins and drain them off, for most fishery pellets this will be more than enough.
Is a feeder arm necessary
It makes things more secure but you can use your keepnet as a rest, ideally wedge the butt ring on the rod behind the rim of the keepnet to make it more secure 💪🏻
@@WinningWays would you suggest getting a feeder arm
@@DansfishingvlogI would advise getting one if you are going somewhere to pleasure fish and have a seatbox you can attach it to.
That threw me 1:30 bald head 1:32 cap on..

Loads of innuendos
