Only hybrid feeders I use nothing else 24g and 28g I used to use the guru flat feeders but the hybrid is the best bait I use ringers chocolate orange and ringers yellow chocolate wafters great videos steve tight lines ✌👍🎣😅🤣
His soft hookers (ooerr) work well in the hybrid too, in case you havent tried.
The fact that Steve got a bite within a second or two just goes to prove that the hook bait must have fallen free of the feeder pretty much as soon as it hit the water

Yes i think That a method feeder is more like a bomb but with a little feed faling throughout the water
I have had a lot off bites after casting out within seconds
It depends if the fish aren't feeding as much bury the hookbait abit further but if they're feeding well don't completely bury the hookbait
I’m new to method feeder fishing. One question. When you cast, hit the clip, then put the rod in the rest, do you then un clip (to stop the rod being pulled in)??

Isn’t putting oil on coarse pellets defeating the object the idea of coarse pellets is to stop oil going into the water
Hi Steve, great video and advice as usual. Can you tell me would you use a hybrid in a deeper venue, say around 14/15ft. I fish a venue that is around this depth, stuffed with carp and regulary get caught in matches into double figures, but average around 5 to 7lb ...tks

Joe O'Keefe yes iam, thinking of getting ya know them bags the green carp ones wat ya get all ya things in the ones whith lots of pockets on the sides and a big bag bit in the middle to put ya bait in ,ma grandad has one

you mention the washed out yellow being the one to go for but you seem to be using the orange dont you when you first put the bait in to the method. What size wafter pellet was it all so please. Very keen to get all this gear for my next fish at weekend and want to get the correct stuff. Many thanks again in advance

Is that hookbait floating or sinking??
Bram Voorbach it floats but the weight of the hook sinks it and it wafts about in the water when fish move on the bait hence the name wafter👌

There is no closed season on 99% of stillwaters. Steve can't help it if nobody else turns up to fish nearby on a 100+ acre reservoir midweek ;)
