    I would not recommend a wood platform but in this case if they would have used 6x6 post and more braces to get it sturdy I could have pushed the shed on it much easier.

    I can’t imagine them putting that shed on that flimsy wood frame. You showed a lot of patience and craftsmanship getting it on there. I applaud you for your great work.

      I was also thinking the same thing. That platform didn't look like it was built very well for that heavy of a structure but I admire your patience. Wish we could hve seen how u maneuvered it onto it.

      I knew it was going to fail, just didn't think it would be that fast. Was poorly made and I think my grandkids could have done better.
      I would have liked to see the rest of how you got it in place

    You can see in the final still shot where the posts in the middle have started to sink, and the rim joist is starting to sag. If they are very lucky, I’d give it until the spring thaw before that underbuilt platform collapses and the shed slides down into the woods.

    I would have never thought getting the shed up on the foundation was even possible. Too bad your cameras died, would have enjoyed seeing it being done. Great job just the same. As always, thanks for posting.

    I don't know if that frame will support that shed once they start to load that building up. But you did a great job putting it where they wanted it. Now waiting on the next video. lol

    Hope you charged accordingly. They cannot expect a free install when they made it so difficult to get it there. They cut all kinds of wood down to get it cleared but left it all laying in the way. Very risky but you made it look easy.

      Sloppy job on frame, and cutting trees for path. Flimsy wooden foundation, but your resourcefulness and patience got the job completed.

    just going down that incline looked sketchy as hell. They could have definitely built that a little sturdier, and cleaned up around it better. In the end you made it happen, awesome work.

    That frame base is no worse than the usual cinder blocks, it just has further to fall lol.

    My backyard is a hill and I have the same setup I had one delivered and placed on the wood frame on a hillside its a 12x12. I went to the company I was having build the building and had them make up a drawing of what they require for it to be sturdy and not move when they slid the building on it. Gave the plans to a contractor and let them do it. What I have is ALOT more wood bracing and 8x8 posts and everything is bolted together. When the company delivered it said they didnt know who I had do it but it never moved and was one of the best setups they have seen like this. Cost a couple grand for the contractor to do it but way worth it. This guy is going to have issues with this sagging and settling

    Great job again. Ive done towing and recovery and heavy haul for years. Towing. Nobody realizes the mind it takes to pull that off.

    I have delivered and repossessed hundreds of sheds. I’ve done some pretty scetchy things. Honestly have never turned one down and never had one wasn’t able to complete. Sometimes with much difficulty and time. But this one here! I would have turned it down the second I seen it!

      How hard is it to get a shed down like a trail almost. We bought a 12x32 shed and 24 acres with row access. There’s a gravel road almost like an Atv trail. Shed guy said shouldn’t be an issue but I’m petrified lol

    I hope you made them sign a waiver before putting the shed onto that matchstick frame. At 17:10 you can already see a gap between the frame and the the base runner of the shed as well as the bow right along the length.

      Trying to make it sturdy, under pressure and after the fact. It won't last very long at all, and you can see it is already in trouble along the rim joist.

    That "foundation" for that shed is inadequate. There is a reason why there are building codes.
    Not enough posts and they do not look like they are on concrete.

    that timber foundation is undersize for the small house. Remember “always" to have a good foundations your house depends on it. Great job getting that done.

    That's crazy. No way that flimsy frame is going told that building.....empty, let alone with storage.
    Minimum 4x4's and I'm just guessing.

      yea definitely at least 6 4x4s, I'd rather over engineer structures than not, but it did seem they used some 4x4s, the ones on the hill shoulda been 6x6

      Not to mention, looks like 24” on center joists, no hangers, no corner brackets, beams aren’t built to code (at least in my state, sandwiched beams are not acceptable.

    heck of a deal they put you in on that one! now when it starts sagging and failing, they will be too lazy to shore it up correctly and you will be back repo,n it. you're way more patient than i am. i would of pulled up and said... really!!

    I think adding a couple 2" x12' blackiron pipes would have made this one easier. Lay them across the frame and roll the shed into place. Think pyramid building.

    What a ridiculous place to put a shed on an equally ridiculous weak frame. The stupidity of so many people never fail to amaze me. You done a marvellous job getting the shed down that steep slope and getting it positioned on that weak frame.

    Keep your phone turned on for the call asking if you can come and pull the shed off the collapsed frame!
    If they had braced the crap out of that in all directions as well as using noggins in the deck joists I guess you would just needed to set the end down on it then go around the back and push it on.

    geeze what were these pople thinking when they built that platform . Driver desrves a reward for that . I live up on hillside and the basement footings are 18 ft deep ( YES 18FT DEEP ) I live in southside VA and my house is a 2440 square foot modular built with 2x6 stud walls Yes I over built but why not . house is going no where ,even front porch was built with 8x8' posts

    The frame is designed to hold downward weight not to support horizontal forces. No diffrent then a deck. Once attached to the frame of the shed it will provide horizontal stability. This is a situation where a crane should have been used.

      I call BS... The post were nowhere near strong enough not to suffer motion and lateral movement over time let alone install. That thing was severely underbuilt under any circumstances especially at that height. But a hillbilly's going to do what a hillbilly's going to do.

      @@RIDERSONLINEORG The load capacity of a 3-foot #2 grade 4×4 is 17,426 pounds, and a similar 6×6 is 20,834 pounds or 16% better. However, an 8-foot 4×4 supports 6468. Better crossbracing would help but a crane would have been the right tool for the job. Would have been cheaper to just build the whole thing on site. There's barns built on 4x4 posts that have equipment driven on them.

    OK, I'm a Brit and its obvious to me that the framing of the platform was under size it should have been double the timber cross section that had been used and at least another 4 verticals, it always makes sense to over engineer a support structure than to attempt to cheap out,
