Beck is actually an interesting person, I've just always been used to Amber making everything about her but it's nice to hear Beck talk here.

Amber saying "drownded" like my 78 year old native Arkansas grandma when she had only been living in Kentucky for just a few years is sending me...
She’s just copying Beck’s rural Southern mannerisms, just like she copied wifey’s more urban, modern way of speaking. With Destiny, she was louder and cruder, like Destiny. I find it interesting that Amber doesn’t have her own personality and just copies her partners.
I love how bored Ambie gets when literally anyone else is talking about anything other than her.
I'm an elementary teacher, and Beck talking about 10-year-olds was spot on lol

My grandmas little brother drowned back In the early 1960s. He was barely 10 . Sadly it was too late when they finally got him. The whole family was swimming at a power dam and he swam too far out and got caught in a current . Took a while for divers to recover him. My great grandma was sent away to the notorious Georgia millidgeville hospital not long after he passed away . She never got over his death .

Beck's stories about her childhood sound a lot like the ones from my childhood, right down to the drowning in a pool as a child and being given CPR by an aunt. My childhood wasn't great and I'm sad that I can relate. (ETA: sad for her, I mean, not sad for myself)

Haha when she mentioned Passions, I flashed back 20+ years. I used to watch Days of Our Lives and Passions before I had to leave for some of my freshman/sophomore college classes. I’d never miss my soaps back then. My friends and I used to make up different story lines for our Barbie and Ken’s dolls when we were young too. Those were the days. The most you ever had to worry about were school and to be home when the street lights started to come on. 😊 Adulting stinks! lol
Two of my sisters children have nearly drowned when they were younger. Two completely different situations. I was pissed when i heard about the second time because they didnt learn from the first time

Amber just wanted beck to there to drive her around and be her caretaker but have no personality and to keep her mouth shut. I love the amber verse but these clips always make me sad

My drowndeding story is much less eventful: our house had a pool in the backyard and (before it was left to rot) we'd swim in it a lot. There was a slide leading to the deep end and I was 3, so not a great swimmer, but my narc told me if I went down she'd catch me. I agreed, went down the slide, and next thing I know, I'm laying on the concrete gasping and coughing with my biologicals and siblings around me... it was our neighbors who did CPR on me; my biologicals didn't know how

I drowned when I was 9. I was a pretty good swimmer, but this older boy pushed me to the deep side of the pool (~4m, idk how much that is in feet, maybe 11ish). And I got tired at some point, had nothing to hold on to. I began to scream and no sound came out because I was too worried breathing that I couldn't call for anyone. My mom (who doesn't know how to swim btw) jumped in the pool, and I was rescued. I had to receive mouth to mouth. It was honestly terrifying.
The older boy didn't even try to help me the little sh1t.
