Wow I was washing dishes when u randomly mentioned Texas and I almost dropped a plate. Um you don’t really hear people saying yeehaw around here 😂 Then again, I’m a homebody so I don’t go out much. I have yet to muster up enough courage to even attend Aquashella. Too bad none of my friends are in the hobby of fishkeeping 😅 Anyway, what a great setup for ur betta! so inspiring 💚

@@WorldofWhasian I have passing ideas about a Beta for the occupant but I'm not sure. Shrimp for sure, well planted, and a red theme I think. Too many ideas. My favorite fish are Honey Gourami. The males are so pretty.

What are those bags that you place down at the beginning
Mesh Bags of nutrient rich aqua soil and gravel. I like to slope the scape so keeping the bottom layer in mesh bags helps keep the scape from flattening over times.
