What a small world indeed watching you have a splendid time with two of my beautiful sisters whom I know ☺️. Anyway enjoy the rest of your trip here in Nepal.. sending you prayers and light ✨ XX

Oh don't you love the prices for the meds! And our fish are riverine, so not technically sea food. More bones in ours (so better well fried) but fresher and richer flavor they say... we wouldn't be experts though, with expensive imported seafood being rarer.
That what you took is what you'd commonly call Tylenol in the US btw. The generic name (the chemical) is *acetaminophen/paracetamol*.
The Advil that you refer to is generically *Ibuprofen*. It's worth it to remember these. Generic names are the way to go for travellers. Both work for fever or aches, but only Ibuprofen (Advil) for swelling/inflammation - like say you sprained your ankle or have a wound or sth.
PS: In Nepal, its quite common to prescribe or buy referring to the generic name, like the UK or some places in Europe. Brand names exist but are many (many companies sell such drugs) and while its ideal to rely on top pharma companies and their brands (more expensive), a preference for one often indicate profit motives of the prescriber/seller (like it does in the US absolutely).

I was so surprised at the prices for meds! I bought a bunch of random things (creams etc) before I left Nepal haha
And yeah I realized that I should have gone looking for the generic right off the bat rather than the brand name. Thanks for the tip!

That water tap💧 is pure & natural you can drink it... this water from hilly areas are far better than terai area..😊
Sometimes, you need to drink without purification because to get minerals from the water 😅

@@aroundtheglobeandy yes its best medicine in Nepal and even you could use in dengue fever.if you have dengue fever and if you take other hard medicine it will decrease WBC count so paracetamol is best by all perspective.
And I know you paid 10rs which is fair price coz we pay the same price like we do.if someone ask you for more then think they are trying to scam you.that brother who sold you was such a humble, courteous and honest guy loved his honesty.
