Some Mutations are broken to be honest. The worst of them is the one, where when you deal damage, you take that damage. The HP regen is so useless because you deal far too much damage and you die or you have suicide units to do it. This shit needs a rework to be honest.
This one was pain for me, but I went stukov mass infested marine and used a uprooted Infested barracks to kinda make the beam go up and down since it only targets units and the infested barracks becomes a unit when uprooted and a structure when rooted
You were either heroically, brave or totally self-destructive for choosing mutation on brutal. Some mutations are way harder than you assume they’ll be and it is so easy to get totally shut down and destroy. I salute you. Your pain entertained me 😂
I thought with going Artanis I could psi storm from afar to avoid the succ but I was deaaaad wrong and my high templars couldn't cast spells half the time from constant succ lol
You finally take my advice and did the mutations which will give 1 different video each week. Plus: I also see that you are using hotkeys now. Good improvement Question to other viewers: Do you guys play other strategy games as well or only Starcraft 2? Me? I also play NorthGard(tile+RTS) and Civilization(tile+turn-based) [Total War(turn-based) i don’t fight manual battles] And other old RTS games like AOE and RON. Mutations come in only 2 flavors >not hard to beat but unbelievably annoying to play against (looking at you, your vision down/enemy vision up/all enemies cloaked combo) OR >have a combination that makes it so great commanders will be inconvenienced, and bad commanders will be screwed.

@@ToxicSpilll It's extremely anoying, and it can really mess with the mission since your workers can get paniced by a random spawn and die immiedatly. yeah feed a attraction is one of the worst mutators out there it makes it so that every time your units get pulled in they lose their current command mean you have to order it again so target firing is impossible and a-moving is hell and it stops your SCV‘s mining if something gets in your mineral line so don’t lose interest in doing mutators because you had a bad experience with this one there are plenty of other ones that you might find to your taste and aren’t painful
Just know that this low time is temporary and I hope this year, you will both feel better and do better. I am honoured that my videos of me sucking ass at games brings you joy and comfort. I am truly not worthy of this position.
man that vortex is worser when game rolls self destruction or mix with mineral shields mutations. way me and my friend found that out was when doing chaos studio weekly mutation one week we got vortex and mineral shields yeah when those shields die they vortex all your workers outta line

@@ToxicSpilll Well if you have a friend or two you can play with, then I would highly recommend trying the 3 player coop version of the sc 2 campaign by LordDZ (I believe thats his username). It's really cool and features custom units and upgrades as well as higher difficulty options. Even if your alone, you can still use archon mode to control all 3 player slots solo, but that's a lot of multitasking and makes you less flexible.
Look on the bright side, you almost won the first time you tried that Mut combo on brutal with possibly the worst faction to be using that combo since there's so many zerglings. Most people fail a few times when they haven't had that combo before.

@@ToxicSpilll I don't think the commander was the problem, the choice & order of mercenaries was. Also the fact that you didn't expand first which put you behind in resources horribly. As Tychus you always have to build the second CC as the first thing (while still training SCVs of course) regardless of expansion type. So when Tychus is out you send him to the rocks/contested expansion and you already have the 2nd CC ready. Then again you did say you underestimated the mutation and you weren't prepared so it's fiiiine, we all botch mutations sometimes

StarCraft 2 get developer attention, NAH!
Depends on who you are playing. It's devastating for a Tychus but stukov or zagara don't really care about it
som combos are so strong but al lare doable but you need specific comanders for it
Use correct commanders And prestiges And youre fine
Honestly I curb-stomp that one as Dehaka - his seven gets real insane real fast and easily out-does the still Godzilla-like damage he dishes out

A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
