What I like about this channel is that the video isn't long and drawn out for no reason. And most of all entertaining!!
Only a master of this craft can make videos crazy lengths while still maintaining watchability.
Would be kind of interesting if the drones could take biomass and pull more resources than the others. Imagine a massive drone just ripping an entire crystal out of the ground and putting it in your base. lmao
If you wanna put toxic nests to better use, they force lurkers to unburrow and if you litter the ground with viper clouds you can place the nests and they can't get attacked
Yeah, baiting and killing lurkers, widow mine and swarm hosts are just the beauty of them.
I would suggestgust building to hives at main base so you can get lair and start building queens.... They keep abuther units alive.. definitely the most underrated part of his army. Definitely use roaches for evolution

I used to be a Zerg child too, but I find myself playing a ton of Vorazun and Karax these days.
why did you turn to the Protoss may I ask?
@@ToxicSpilll I don't even really have a reason. I hated Vora at first but she just eventually grew on me. If I were to play PvP, I'd probably still roll Zerg. If I had to stab in the dark, I'm much more comfortable casting spells than when I started playing SC2 which kinda kept me off Toss at first.

Watching this makes me cringe a lot, here's some Aba pointers from a pro (or somebody that knows what he is doing)
* You don't want to start the game with the toxic nests on the rightlane, place them on the sides of the train track to anticipate the wave amd also to kill the escorts from the first train, leave one nest and place it near the expo of your choice (then build 2 spine crawlers and leave them to pick the rocks to death).
*Against the 'Shadow Tech' Comp Mutalisks just suck balls, you'll get smashed by hunter seeker missiles and cyclones, better use ravagers with their active ability (research theirr two upgrades asap)
* NEVER leave your gas unattended, fill it right away.
* Shadow Tech first wave always attack from the back of the mineral line, be sure to have some toxic nests in place.
* In Oblivion Express you NEVER build next to the gases or behind the mineral line when going against terran, they'll nuke you from behind.
En aru'din Abathur. We need more toss time to mass observers into enemy army this is the way.

abathur is one of those commanders that really shine at level 15 because of the symbiote mastery having a brutalisk during early game makes the game a little more easy
Yep, and the levelling process until level 15 is just painful.
love your vids man! Abathur is my absolute fav :) I'm addicted to roaches anyway, and I go mutas after - Brutalisk with their deep tunneling are cute and awesome

great video my man, for me abathur is the only zerg commander i can´t really play... it almost feels like he is the most protos of all zergs if you catch my drift
zagara and dehaka are waaaayyy easier for me and i think for most people aswell
Don't feel bad about it, Abathur isn't exactly an easier commander to pick up at all.
This is also the reason why I don't play brutal unless if my commander is maxed lvl or if my ally is ridiculously op, at like lvl 400 or something lol. The AI cheesing with a nuke is the worst. It gave me trauma to the point that I started panicking whenever I hear the sound of the nuke leaving the silo XD. I remember this one time while playing with a nova ally, both of our forces were attacking the pointy things at korhal, the third-place up on the ramp, we were winning so I checked back at base to build some more nydus worms when I heard that dreaded sound. I started panicking, building all sorts of detection, morphing the overlords and building the spore colony while trying to evacuate the drones. I called back kerrigan and started spamming psionic shift at the possible locations of the enemy. I was frantically searching for that ghost, then I realized I was on hard difficulty. Apparently, nova wanted to overkill the last two void shards with a nuke for some reason. Man, the relief I felt that time was undescribable lol. So whenever I play brutal, the very first thing I do would be to build detection first and then defence for the first wave.

Roaches are just too good and don't even get me started on their evolutions, the Ravenger.
Why you dont configure the hotkeys? You can put whatever bottons you want man, i put for example Q W E and its all a lot more easier

So did you never get Abathur leveled up to 15 or did you prestige him? I would recommend to get all his prestiges cuz they're all pretty fun to level up, especially the second because deep tunneling roaches and swarm hosts that make thors look like marines is pretty damn funny. Also try Dehaka's first prestige, it isn't the easiest to level but it is ridiculously op, in an example of eating an armored unit while near impalers. Imagine how fast the trains die, i've done it, they didn't make it all the way out the tunnel :)
Neat gameplay though, reminds me of when I was learning how to play co-op at all and I kinda knew what I was doing, but with top bars I could've done better.
I have already used both prestige and yes, I agree with you. BTW, what could you have done better with the top bars for curiosity?
When I was starting out it was a matter of learning how to place the toxic nests and I've actually found out that placing them in a line isn't as effective as scattering them in an area with slight distance between them. But by top bars I mean that with every commander, it was a weird thing to use

Oh Jeez this guy. So when I started playing him I didn't expect him to be the hardest commander to play, but so far for me he was. You have to go so far to harvest biomass early on to get Ultimates and on some maps it's really hard to do so. Generally I use toxic nests with a spine or spore crawler to lure enemies into them, but it's shocking how long it can take to get 100 biomass. Mist opportunities for example can take until after the first bot is already finished and Dead of Night can take until after the first night. This guy really needs Ultimates to get going and getting them is HARD. That being said, I don't think there's an army that competes with maxed out Abathur. My general recommendation is mass Muta or mass Swarm Host, though neither is my favourite. My personal favourite army is mass Roach/Ravager with all the bile upgrades. Though it requires a little bit of micro to throw down the biles, it's fun to watch the enemy dissapear after a wave of rapid fire shots from above. I recommend adding 1-3 Vipers when you unlock them regardless of army comp, the disabling cloud is stupidly good to the point where it makes most missions a joke. Always get all the ultimates you can before building a large army. With Abathur it's better to have a small army of strong units than a large, low-biomass army, mainly because his units are very cost-inefficient without biomass, especially Mutas. Once you get past level 10 Abathur is just super strong, but you NEED to learn where to farm biomass effectively early on or you will lose.
I forget, how do you use vipers again, not my go-to units by far.

Fun fact: You can always just go Ravager. It works fine against all comps.

You can actually put the toxic nest on the train track to damage to train.
I normally don't put one on the tracks because the units are more of a concern to me than the train itself. Good advice though, I will keep it in mind.
@@ToxicSpilll most enemy unit are air unit btw....
Abby commander has problem dealing dmg to the train. The simple solution is just dump every nest into the track.
@@swordre5805 when it comes to air units, Abathur doesn't really excel in that category
@@ToxicSpilll I agree, abby is more powerful against land unit because of the viper cloud skill. The cloud can even disable hero from attacking or using skill.
Abby's anti air isn't exactly weak as well. The viper can pull air unit and stun them for 5sec. Battle cruiser can't even use yamoto canon because of this .
