    These videos showing the learning and then perfecting process are gold. Great example of how everything, skating, guitar, whatever, takes reps, doing the same thing over and over until it becomes second nature. Also funny how you were working on 50s and 5-0s and then as soon as you started progressing to the 180 out and shove out your lock-ins were flawless every time. Distraction tactics.

    RL clip was gold lol. I feel you on the front 5050s. Just learned them switch recently and the slightly more parallel approach made them a lot easier to do🙌

    Your 50-50’s are fine imo, maybe try some more speed over time. Overshooting the front or back wheels happens to the best of us, all you can do is just practice. You’re absolutely right about “picturing” doing the trick while fully committing, I tell people that all the time and seems to help. Keep up the great vids and vibes ✌️

    • @NessaDarps
      @NessaDarps  Місяць тому +1

      Thanks! I know I can do em’ but I tend to have more trouble when the ledge starts getting bigger. For sure tho picturing it definitely helps!

    I have similar issues with my front 50s. I roll onto the ledge a lot. Shit drives me crazy. I have to focus on opening my shoulders and shifting my hips. Back 50s are easier for me.

      @@NessaDarps any tips on keeping the back foot close to the board during ollies? Mine always seems to disconnect and be far above the tail. Yours look glued!

    • @NessaDarps
      @NessaDarps  Місяць тому +1

      @@t3r083 try leaning a little bit forward (over the nose), and think of ‘dipping’ your front foot. Like a tweaked/boned ollie. It doesn’t have to be that exaggerated, but thinking of doing that motion should help lift the tail up with your back foot! So as if you’re trying to dip your nose down. Hope that helps!
