Rod Stewart and his family a couple months ago were at a plush Scottish hotel, and Sir Rod literally paid them a ton of money in tips and the hotel staff said him and his family were extremely nice and accommodating to them.

@@tommybotts I think they might be using an old recording there. The description says it combines "classic vocals". I also noticed we don't see a guitar or mandolin, and had they been in the room the video surely would have focused on them during the solos.

This song always reminds me of my dad. He was a huge Rod fan (a fellow Celtic supporter too- he claimed to have seen him at matches when he was younger!) and used to put it on when I was a child, we used to dance to it.
He passed away a couple of years ago this May. I'm getting married in October and am going to have this as the father-daughter dance song (not very traditional I know!). I'll be dancing with my uncles. 💙

I’m not very old but my parents were both older hippies. This song is melted in my soul like the summer sun of all the days of my childhood. Vacations cross country with old rod stewart songs on cassette lol. Thank god for music like this that I can share with my kids. They will hear these songs and remember everything immediately from their childhood like I do..... to me that’s a timeless song ❤️

You're correct.Its the same vocals.Im pretty sure it was done on all the songs on this album. I think what was done was Rods vocals were used over the Orchestra for the album.
I'm literally doing that right now LOL I have both playing in two different tabs synced up, and yeah it's the same recording. I figure that Rod just can't belt it out like he used to I guess, but that's okay, it's my favorite version of the song (the unplugged version, don't really care for this orchestra)
