craziest thing is when you meet someone for the first time, who has 0 mutual friends with you, but will still appear on suggested friend list just because your two phones were identified to be in the same location for an extended amount of time recognizable by the algorithm as a real life engagement

@@Astraeus.. Definitely was the case. I didn't have my workplace, phone number, or real last name on Facebook, yet coworkers would still show up in my recommendations. Used the website instead of the app on my phone for the next year and never received any new friend recommendations again who I didn't have multiple mutual friends with. When you have friend recommendations for people whom you have zero mutual friends, why do you think that is?

And building it up again is incredibly hard, you basically need to agree to watch government propaganda to get back a percentage of what you lost back. Thats it, "worship the government", not "here's how to be a better neighbour".
Its not about creating better citizens, its about engineering you to be perfect little droves in the ant farm created by the technocrats, by weaponizing society against you. It's never been about safety or improving societal behaviour.

Terms of service agreements are known as contracts of forced adhesion. If you don't agree to it, then you can't use the product or service. Of course, nobody is ever going to read a TOS agreement. How many of us are contract lawyers on our days off or do it as an actual profession and for a living? The average citizen has to roll with the notion that anything you use, tech related, will track you and store and sell your data. If it's free to use, pretty much assume you are now a product being bought and sold by the company who made it.

Of course people using these services are a product being sold. Ever been on a "free cruise", where all you had to do was sit and listen to a time share presentation for 3 hours? It's the same thing, but I don't hear you complaining about Wyndham Hotels and Resorts... I got a "free cruise" to the Bahamas like that 5 years ago, I still get random calls from telemarketers trying to get me to go to various time share presentations by giving me "free" stuff to this day, because all my information is in some Wyndham database somewhere.

Yes. My friend has a knife business that also sells gun accessories and PayPal took $1500 from him for "damages dude to TOS violations" because PayPal doesn't want people to "certain gun accessories" or gun related things but it doesn't specifically say what. Also in PayPal TOS just about every product or service you can imagine is vaguely listed. So at any given time for any business, PayPal can take your money for "damages" and not face any consequences for doing so. Private companies can manipulate, exploit, and violate our rights in all kinds of ways.

Right now an example of this is the Louis CK comedy specials, Paypal is a payment option and they refused my ability to pay using PayPal. Using the same CC directly, it went through.

Essentially he impersonated one of his employees to access their online website. The employee later was fired and was able to get 30 plus FBI agents to bust into our house at 5:00 am guns loaded. My mom was scarred for life bc of it. I slept through them initially entering the house so when they got to my room upstairs they were on high alert wondering why I hadn’t come out. They banged on the door and stormed in. 4 different ppl 2 local cops 2 FBI agents had their guns drawn on me. They then escorted me down stairs and proceeded to take every electronic device in the house except our phones bc they have this device that loads all the phones info onto it. Anyways they took thousands of dollars worth of electronics and it was pretty traumatic. 6 years later nothing has been returned and my brother has yet to be charged with anything.

Tying things together based off of IP is easy. When ever you go to a new WiFi network and you get a different IP they can track you to your friends based off your digital signature that they follow. They then build databases on you and your friends, they know who is interacting with who where and when because of the data they can collect off you and your devices.

If someone spoiled my proposal, I'd want to shun them for the rest of my life, but with this, it was just bad luck.
That ring was the most expensive thing he had talked about recently and the algorithm was determined to be the venue that sold it to him, even if you saw it too.

The two craziest events I’ve had relating to this are:
    1. I went to a bar the other day to meet with a friend which is something I very rarely do and was wearing a dad hat with a specific quote embroidered in it. I hadn’t wore this hat in a while. While I was at the bar, I scrolled through my Instagram for a little bit and get an ad for the same exact hat with the same exact quote. Not a word was said about it ever which makes me assume my front camera was the culprit.
    2. I was wearing my favorite shorts one day. I’ve had them for like 5 years and are very worn down but they’re super comfy. I got an H&M ad on Instagram for the same exact shorts which I got at H&M way back then. Again nothing was said about them so camera?

But this particular day one of my workers was feeling sick & I turned my data on to look up the closest store in the area & he was talking about how he gives his children Pedialyte when they're not feeling good. Didn't think much of it & later that day when I went to my HOME PC & got on YT, sure enough I started getting ads for Pedialyte, even though I was on my home PC. I've had advertisements for a college that I was wearing on my shirt that I never spoke about. the most recent creepy ad i got was "how long does your sex last?" , when i was literally thinking about that exact topic for just a couple seconds while alone driving... never said a word. It's disgusting. how on earth can my phone read my thoughts

Sometimes I'd literally just think about something and I'll get an ad for it. Only thing is idk if I thought about it on my own or if my thoughts were herded that way by my phone somehow

The more important part is who’s listening? No amount of humans could input that amount of info and respond immediately. AI is almost totally in control.

Lack of even basic technical knowledge is a massive problem with almost all so-called conspiracy theories. For example...people keep blathering on about AI but all this 'AI' is that you refer to is a series of rules; data is passed in (ie your search history, previous purchases etc etc) and a result is spat out. Whether it's a UA-cam feed, targeted advertisement etc, at a high level it all works in pretty much the same way. No AI, technomancy or dark magic needed, just rules, inputs and outputs.
The problem with most conspiracy theorists is they lack baseline knowledge of the subject area, so inevitably sound like fools and, therefore, make the ideas they are espousing sound foolish.

All of our digital data is being saved. What we say. What we type. What we watch where we are. ALL OF IT.
It’s being saved on massive servers and used for various purposes.

It’s come to the point where my phone giving me ads after a conversation doesn’t even surprise me. What has shocked me on a few occasions was getting ads after having thoughts of something without ever speaking about it. On one occasion I was thinking I should get some new running shoes, and boom there was the ad. Another time thinking about a new camping tent. No google searches, no mention to my coworkers about it nothing. Just a passing thought I entertained for a little bit. They have a lot more power than they let on.

It seems to be a common phenomenon even for me. I tend to think it's because they are constantly taking contextual clues and we probably dont realize we are leading into a thought process because of how jumbled our thoughts really tend to play out but when an algorithm is picking up on only a few things it sees our patterns before we do . Don't know if that's right at all but it's the only thing that keeps me from thinking I'm already being mindread😖

I never really encounter this stuff other than ads related to my own browser searches. Maybe it's because my phone stays in my pocket most of the time. Maybe it's because I don't shop online often. I never use Amazon, I don't have a facebook account, twitter, instagram, etc. Maybe it's because I disable most of the privelages in my apps and leave location turned off.
I don't feed much data in, and so the ads I get are generally pretty random. The stuff I get that's targeted are for things I sign in with my Google account and ebay usage, and even then it's pretty scattershot. I don't know why anyone with a bunch of social media activity would be surprised that the loads of data they feed in get used.

Earlier this year I was watching Eddie Murphy's classic stand up special "Delirious" from 1983. There's this part where the crowd gets really quite and Eddie asks "What's today's date?" Suddenly my phone started talking to tell me the date.
I've had this phone for probably 2 years. I never knew it could do that. Nor do I know of any apps on it that can be programmed to do that.

Listening, watching, and analyzing your facial cues as you watch videos trying to figure out your motivations and overall character. I think they can even read your mind at this point too and here’s why.. how many times have to gone to type a search word out and within typing 1-2 letters it pops up. Idc how obscure your search is it only takes a few letters and sometimes it’s even faster.
