I used to live in Hastings a while back and sometimes found dossers sleeping in the launderette first thing in a morning. There's an idea - rate your launderette for stealth sleeping.
Im surprised the idea of Pod Hotels hasn't taken off big time in this country. Question ......... how sound proof are they from the 'neighbours' in the other pods and from outside noise - ie from those sitting at the table, etc?

I really liked this, I've seen these pods on tv before and often thought they're a good idea, I'm not one for needing masses of luxury so this would be just right for a quick stop over, although the toilet situation might be a tad awkward if all the pods were taken, anyway, that was a great little film Andy thanks, and i loved the bloopers, 😀👍
Quite a curiosity, this video. The accommodation is a bit like a bivvy bag or a small survival shelter. Hopefully, not all the denizens have 'been on the beer' or the toilet facilities could prove a bit sparse or even get a bit messy. Seemingly, ventilation, heating, and cooling are not all that could be desired. Still, on a cold, rainy night, carrying a flat wallet, this could be welcoming.
I wonder how many people (blokes) take a bottle in with them rather than have to take trips to the bathroom.🤣. Do they provide dressing gowns? With my 6 trips a night, aid be very tempted!😟 Due to getting to that age, not due to beer, I should add!☺️

On the Gold coast Au there is a cheap hostel where right over the back fence there is a busy airport, looking out of the back window of some rooms there is a 6 foot wooden fence and over the top tail sections of aeroplanes can be seen passing by with their jet engines roaring away. Good earplugs are a must.
That looks like an interesting experience. I wonder how successful it is for the owners. As far as the fan goes is it bring outside air inside? If you farted how long would you smell it? It's a real concern.

I gotta say theres a place for motels like that. As he said, when you juat want a bed, a toilet, and a shower. Such as on a road trip. Not at a destination your staying at for days, juat a place to sleep for one night. As long as your not claustrophobic, your fine.

I saw another video about these being used in larger homes to allow many people to reside in one main residence in a large city where rent is otherwise far too steep to get an apartment, as well as in some airports- which is brilliant- these ods are a great solution.Thanks Andy, I always like your videos regardless of the topic!

Free heat from machines, dry... as teens we used to hang out behind the swimming pool building at night for the same reasons.

They have loads of these in Japan , used like a youth hostel in some parts .
