Thanks for sharing this. I had to see it, because I love Pirin. I used to hike when I was a student in Bulgaria early 1990s. For me, it is very emotional to see this place again. Wonderful, you made video of your trip. I still have a photo from the top of Vihren, back then I could sit on top of the cement pillar. Now I see, there is some sculpture on top of it. One day, I must return to this heaven on Earth!

Thanks a lot Yaniv! 🙂 I think the difficulty was moderate, this circuit is manageable in 3 days + 1 day extra for hiking the Vihren peak

Super! Im planning to do about the same with 5 friends. Were you allowed to pitch your tent everywhere? I thought it was forbidden? When was this trip done? In high season? Thanks in advance

Hi, trip was done in august 2015. You can use mountains hut for sleep. But if you pitch your tent right next to the hut, you should be probably ok, too. I wish you nice trip, Pirin is amazing :)
