      Although he's wrong about at least 1 thing in nearly every video he posts. 😂 This video for example.
      1:19 😂🤦‍♂️ "point to his consistency"? Jorge has won 2 of his last 4 and 5 of his last 10. So he has CONSISTENTLY been winning around 50% of the time over the past few years. And its been about the same his entire career. He's got a pop by landing a quick flying knee on the WORST striker in the UFC, in Askren. Before that beating Till, in a fight he got dropped in. He was knocking on the door of 3 straight losses and being cut from the UFC before that and just finished a year layoff. Chael calls that "consistency"? 😂 That's hilarious!

Till beats Masvidal 8/10 times and Askren beats Masvidal 99/100 times. We witnessed two miracles and now Masvidal has so many people believing he is worthy of a title shot. Masvidal will probably lose to Diaz.

    The one thing I noticed about Nate in the embedded episodes leading up to the Pettis fight was he mentioned his muay thai coach. I didn't think he'd be checking the leg kicks but I thought he'd be dishing them out against Pettis. I think he learned from the loss to Conor. Muay Thai style leg kicks played a significant role in his 2 most recent losses to Rafael Dos Anjos and Conor McGregor. So he had to do something about it against Pettis. His ground work against Pettis was superb too. That might yet play a part against Masvidal.
    Masvidal just beat the much bigger Darren Till and obviously Askren. So he's going to be tough for Nate. But I hope Nate wins. I hope Chael is right about Diaz after a 3 year break.

      Nick and Nate have always trained in muaythai and kickboxing. Their point in not defending the leg kicks is that it doesnt do any damage and its just a ploy for "point scoring shit" like what wrestlers do when they rub elbows and bounce when they are laying and praying In fact Nick and Nate are one of the better kickers. Nick himself out kicked a Anderson Silva and if you watch the GSP fight you get an idea of who had better kicks, in the third round they both did a spinning kick and you can tell the difference and Nicks kick was absolutely superb. GSP looked like he put all his effort into it. And Nick, he looked like he was taking a hit off the pipe while executingbthe technique

    What does the title 'former world champion' mean for Pettis when he has only won 4 of his last 11? How much longer must we fake like he's still relevant? If he wouldn't have gotten that punch off on Thompson (we can all agree was probably half luck it landed so clean to KO someone with no KOs and had taken Woodleys best shots) he would have signed with Bellator, the name "Anthony Pettis" is the only thing keeping him from being cut. Most usually aren't around this long to go what should have be 3 - 8 in his last 11 fights without that one in a million shot on Thompson who was dominating him till that point.

    I thought Masvidal looked to control the pace more in that exhibition, and believe Masvidal & Diaz will wind up on the mat.

  • @Max-il5hx
    @Max-il5hx 4 роки тому

    Nate Diaz is getting more and more impressive. His timing has evolved into near perfection. He's piecing together all his strengths while learning how to defend his shortcomings. His highest level cardio was always underscored by a lackluster first round, now he warms up hard before the Pettis fight. This married up perfectly with an ever further honed timing game with hyper accurate volume punching and one of the premier jujitsu skill sets in mma. Add to that his unsurpassed mental toughness and you have an uber experienced, composed assassin poised to run for the title. Make no mistake, this isn't hype, he can do it this time. There's nobody in the way he can't beat on any given night. The world will be watching closely and I think they're going to get a show.

    Nate's spent most of his career at 155, it'll be interesting how he can take Jorge's hard shots. Jorge hits really hard. So far Nate's chin seems to hold up so we'll see how it does against the harder hitting 170's.

      Nate is bigger than Jorge. He will have 1 in height and 3 inch reach advantage over Jorge. Plus despite the 3 year layoff, he was in much better shape. He is not the Skinny fat guy Conor likes to call him. Look at the UFC 241 weigh ins. Nate looks like he has grown into a true Welterweight. Nate has a pretty good chin. He was able to withstand Conor’s power punches. Yes he got dropped by Conor 3 times but he didn’t get knocked out. Jorge probably hits harder than Conor but I don’t think this guy has the same technical striking like Conor. Nate definitely has the cardio to go 5 rounds. Does Jorge have the cardio to go 5 rounds.
