Not getting DHCP IP address on Mac OS Classic

Mac OS classic is not a "network operating" system so it does not pull an IP address from he DHCP server as soon as a network cable is connected. IT started the network stack when an application requests network access. Dont think your network isn't working only because its not showing an IP in the TCP/IP control panel. Start a program that will get online and then check it. Hopefully this helps.
