2005 Polaris Ranger XP 700 refurbishment | Rebuild the fuel system Part 4
I bought this Ranger from some friends who have had it since new. It is running terribly but Im going to refurbish it back to tip top shape.
I didnt use the Ranger all summer and when I came out to fire it up, nothing. Some how the fuel pump gave out. While beginning to work on it I discovered the while fuel system was totally trashed. On top of that no one makes a replacement drop-in fuel pump for this. So we have to hodgepodge it back together.

Cutting Overgrown Beach Lot with YTH22V46
Переглядів 2,4 тис.5 місяців тому
My buddy's lot at the beach hasn't been tended to in a while. I offered to bring the YTH22V46 out and knocked it down for it him. Handled it no problem but one of the tires has a slow leak now and I think it was from a cactus. Bummer! Enjoy the video and see a lil bit of what I call beach-hoggin'! Blog: www.halfasscraftsman.com

Light bush hogging with YTH22V46 yard tractor
Переглядів 2,5 тис.5 місяців тому
Back on the Husqvarna YTH22V46 lawn tractor doing a little light bush hogging. This area was cleared with an excavator and they really rutted it up. I decided to give it a try and it did a great job. Had to be careful for terrain drops and large branches. The terrain is the reason I got stuck a couple times. It did a great job and will be doing more, a bit at a time. Shout out to Safford Equipm...

I bought this Ranger from some friends who have had it since new. It is running terribly but Im going to refurbish it back to tip top shape. After cleaning the TBAP and throttle body in the last video, the ranger was idling way too high. Here I adjust the throttle cable to bring it down. Im assuming someone idled up the throttle cable trying to fix the rough run. Forum thread: www.prcforum.com/...

Cutting Thick Grass with Husqvarna YTH22V46
Переглядів 2,6 тис.2 роки тому
My friend has taken a job out of town and hasn't been able to cut grass in a while because of schedule and unpredictable Florida rains, heat, etc, etc. I brought my Husqvarna YTH22V46 over to help get it right. It was thick but after a couple passes we got it. If you guys want to see more of this type of content, let me know in the comments and like and subscribe. Thanks for watching.

Mowing an acre of tall grass with Husqvarna YTH22V46
Переглядів 32 тис.4 роки тому
A few weekends ago I picked up the Husqvarna YTH22V46 from Safford Equipment. Im in the process of buying this property but we are having big delays with paper word problems. Anyhow, the grass has still been growing and has grown up to three feet in many places. It has been about 2 months and then some since anyone has tended to the yard. I went ahead over there to cut it and give the YTH22V46 ...

In the next episode of the Quadra 950 restoration saga we have to do some soldiering. And let me say, I am no soldiering expert. In fact, this is my first real soldiering experience. I have never soldiered on something with small parts like this or anything this old that matters. All the other jobs I did were a wire here and there. If I screwed up I could just cut it off and try again. It goes ...

Yeap see you did the filtermlatermon also.
Is it that way from running ethanol?
I see you answered it later
Great video happy holidays

Hello, is there a part number to those needle valves off you grill. Or do you where i can get some from. My broke
Part 4 ?
Soon. Been too hot.
That is funny, too cold in wisconsin is always the response 😂
Replace all the suspension parts, boots, or anything rubber, but keep the drive shfts they might be able to be cleaned up.
How much did you pay for it ? Im in a similar situation
Well it was a friend deal so it was way low.
Is your dipstick tube unattached?
Very very low volume
Wow the husky pushws throught the bushes like nothin
Yeah it really does well. My biggest problem here is the lot was cleared with an excavator and its got huge track ruts so I ended up bottoming out a lot. Im going to spray some triclopyr when the wind is right and then hit it again in Oct/Nov when the growth is stopped and the bugs are less.
Nice video
I got 2 Husqvarna riding mowers, and push mower. Im looking at getting a Husqvarna zero turn 54 inch. Yes,im a husky fan boy. Keep the videos coming 💯💯
And after all this time, i thought i was the only one using my mower for bush hogging, .....😂love the name of your channel also by the way.
Hey, we gotta work with what we got, right?!? Thanks! :)
the BEST mower yet
Seems like the fuel pump regulator
So it had gotten a new fuel pump assembly including regulator shortly before they sold it to me. Turns out it was a dirty sensor. After that was cleaned and it was measuring airflow correctly, it began idling too high. I guess the shop who worked on it tried fuel pump and then adjusted the idle up a bunch and then threw in the towel.
Hi, how can we contact you for business inquiry?
Shot of nitrous should do the trick
Any chance you can share your experience in winterizing with this unit?
Sorry no, FL here. We dont know the meaning of the word "winterize". haha
Great video, but I wish you would make a new one with slower speed and you talk through it even if you had to make two part video.
I had intended to but the way the parts were described (or lack thereof) in the instructions made it too difficult to explain and show what I was doing.
My 12 year old Husqvarna zero turn finally went bad. I’ve got a much smaller yard now than I did when I got the zero turn so I got a mower just like this one today. It should be perfect for this little 1/4 acre yard.
Which jammer system are u installing? I like the easy disconnects.
Laser Interceptor. Old, not supported anymore but I still use it. Doesn't work on variable pulse lasers.
I love my Husqvarna mower
which mowing blades? thanks darren
OEM, this was its second mow.
I absolutely love my 22v46 Husqvarna lawn tractor
Nice safety shoes!
Noticed that you were taking 1/ 4 to 1/2 swaths in the heavy areas. Smart. No sense in abusing a well made mower. Love Husqvarna.
NICE LAWN MOWER I'LL BE BE GETTING ONE FOR HUSQVARNAS AS WELL IN A COUPLE YEARS FROM EITHER RURAL KING OR HUSQVARNA MOWER DEALER AND I LOVE HUSQVARNA YTH MOWERS
I own this machine for 5 years, bought it from Lowes. Year 4th engine oil leak, year 5th hydraulic shot. I better getting new machine intead of fix it. Piece of junk machine. I would not recommend Husqvarna. I do own a Husqvarna blower and that working ok.
I DISAGREE
Did you do regular maintenance/services on engine and trans? Husqvarna say that the trans are lifetime/unserviceable but that's BS, Tuff Torq recommend to change the oil first at 50hrs then every 250hrs, and you also need to change the engine oil & filter, plugs, fuel filter and air filter regularly. It also pays to clean the air filter and the cooling fins etc with compressed air or leaf blower after every use
Nice video
Did you rake it up and put the siding on the house after you did that? It kinda looked like the mower was doing all of the work with you on it lol
Haha. Siding is back up. There was a wildfire that melted off the siding. I had just bought it in the video, after the fire.
how the hell is someone susposed to learn anything while your video is on 10 x seped... lame
The YTH22v46 is a horrible riding mower. Don't buy it! I'm on my second one (big mistake!). The first one died after 50 hrs usage. The second one died after 30 hours of usage. I bought at Lowes and the entire engine was covered in rust within two years. They don't even recommend service before 30 hours and the entire engine seized up. Lowe's doesn't even work to allow a review on their site. This guy will soon find out how bad these things really are. I bet your engine dies on you. They don't even honor their warranty. Supposed to be three years bumper to bumper. Junk! DO NOT BUY. If you already did, it's too late.
First, AFTER FIRST COUPLE MOWS DRAIN FACTORY OIL, FULL OF CAST GRIT, KILLS ANY ENGINE. Second, BUY A CUB CADET OR A DEERE. Third, BUY A BIGGER DECK, 46 SUCKS
Sorry to hear that I love mine to death. It has 1300 hours on it.
I DISAGREE
@@williammaddox9511 did you drain and replace the oil right away on yours or do any early maintenance to prevent the above problem?
getting the 24v54 we have 3/4 acres and flat with no hump or gullies. very smooth
Man.... WHY your UA-cam i.d. is Half Ass Craftsman...??? 😧
haha, its just a joke, but I thought it was funny. AND Ive been known to cut some corners in my day.
@@HalfAssCraftsmanI have the craftsman version of this only with a 48 inch deck instead of 46.. manufactured by husqvarna it says under the seat 😊 324 hrs currently
'Bout time you cut that grass boy.
I had just bought it. There was a huge wildfire out here. House across the street and one at the end burnt down.
Does anyone know why mine keeps telling me low voltage and powers off ????
How many horses? I'm guessing about 18-20
22 I have one
22
IT IS 22 THATS WHAT THE FIRST NUMBER ON IT STANDS FOR 22 HORSE POWER
@@SUPERBR742 Ok ok! i was just giving a range, others already told me what it was
Thanks for posting this! I order the part and tool last week and was able to fix my leaky PVB without having to cut or disturb the PVC piping in any way. The new did leak a little upon the first go around but I just needed to tighten the bottom end a little more with the tool and problem solved.
Glad it helped!
hi thanks for the video...is it fast ?
Relatively fast, yes. Its not winning any races but the hydraulic drive is awesome, Im glad I got one with that feature.
I'm not really surprised how ell it did. Anything with a V-twin engine will plough through thick grass as they have the extra power and torque compared to single cylinder versions. Husqvarna are quite good machines too. I would rate them better than John Deere for overall quality.
Hi Tony, can you tell me some pros why better a Husqvarna than a John Deer? thx a lot
They must be quiet, old mate doesnt even have ear muffs 🤔
I love mine to death have 1300 hours on it and haven't had anything that it wouldn't cut
Bought my riding husqvarna in July 2020 used it only twice that year then the following year it worked great now I just took it out last month to finally cut my grass and it wouldn’t turn over anymore, I had multiple ppl look at it after I gave up on trying to fix it myself and I’ve been informed that there something wrong with the motor, the thing is still new I don’t get why That would happen
@@granturismo315 That's a pretty rare occurrence. Were those people qualified who looked at it ? Is it an electrical or mechanical issue ? When you turn the key to "on" does the hour meter turn on ? I do know that the main power fuse can have a dodgy connection and you can lose "ALL" power when trying to start it. Corrosion can set it. Check that first. I seriously doubt the engine has failed. It has to be something really silly. Have a proper qualified tech look at it and let us know what you find.
So everything worked out good? On a scale of 1-10 what would you rate your experience with Safford equipment?
Isn't SLE similar to Safford equipment? They both have bundle deals all the time.
10, I LOVE Safford Equipment! Some friends have a place near by and we go there all the time. They built their house and have bought damn near everything it is made of and is inside it from Keith at Safford.
same tant blew on mine … interesting
Did you ever figure it out?
Great Idea with the Skid when you don't have a Tripod!
Thanks half Ass Craftsman for this video. I’m not handy at all and because of this video I was able to install my PVB today. It took me a total of 15mins. I called a sprinkler installer to do the job and they were going to charge me close to $800.00. I paid $80.00 for the part and did it myself.
Thanks! I'm glad it helped.
You save me $700 bucks. Thanks again. I still can’t believe the price that I was quoted for 15 minutes of labor.
Nice work 💪🏼
