This is the primary reason I want more GPUs like the 4070 but without the insane price tag. 4070 has low enough power draw that it can easily support custom coolers which are 1-2 fans. Basically similar to the 970 and 1070 which both saw mini variants with custom coolers for Small Form Factor PC Builds, the 4070's small board and lower power draw is perfect for another single fan custom cooler small form factor ##70. I'm still under the impression though that the 4070 should of been marketed as a 4060. I think the 4070 is a great GPU, just it's relying more on Software improvements than hardware, which is insulting when taking into consideration the price they're charging. I honestly want a 4070 but I will pay nothing less than $399 for it. It's not a 4070, all but in name only.

Impressive thermals considering the build size. Wish I went SFF, but there are so few bundle deals for smaller builds these days. Best you can really do is ATX in a smaller chassis. Is this going to be your daily driver for now?
The first thing to say is that as a Spaniard, you have English that is very well understood. On the other hand, as a casual player "not triple A" who has a very small space for his desk but I don't want a laptop, this tower seems very nice, elegant and in which without the need for top-of-the-range components you can make a computer compact and useful. @@GamingIntelCoreM-y I understand that you may disagree, but I don't know why you think an actual PC would change the worthwhile game availability. Currently, the market on PC and Console is saturated with pay to play titles like World Of Tanks/Warships, Fortnite, COD Warzone, Overwatch and hundreds of others. Not to mention almost every game has DLC, crate drops, coins, weapons/armor packs or skins. EA hasn't released anything in over a decade that doesn't try to force you into buying a bunch of crap that should be free. Naughty Dog, Blizzard, Gearbox, Ubisoft, Guerilla and Rockstar all thrive in that same DLC space. I don't think hardware is going to change the industry of game production. It's already too late for the that. My hope was that we move into an era where the hardware is truly powerful. We're not that far from actual PC prices anymore, so why don't we just go all the way in and have machines that are full featured, mid-high range spec? Small form factor PC is also getting much better. Now we can fit the best CPUs and GPUs into an ITX case the size of a shoe box. I was just saying that I think it's time to look beyond the limitations of console gaming or adapt the best features console for PC gaming. Hey man one question here : The main challenge being the size of the case and of course the cooling of the CPU, and given the fact that you had to buy this very specific low profile Noctua (excellent by the way). Would you consider to buy and install a 10$ CPU contact frame (from Thermalright for example)? i've heard that those things could lower the cpu temp. by 5 and up to 10 °C. Seems to be a pretty cool, low profile and low budget solution to optimise the temperature and the performances? what do you think? Greetings from France.

This is pretty much what I would build for myself. Though I'd go with AMD GPU and run Steam OS instead of that Windows nonsense. I think I would be happy with 5800X3D too. This, together with a Steam Deck - perfect combo. Accessing same games or streaming from SFF to SD, copying game files directly. What else can wish for? PS. Fall Out Boy!
Own a PS5 and Xbox Series X too. I used to build my own game rigs in the past and stare at Tom’s Hardware cpu and gpu tests. Not anymore since it costs 3-4X to really get better performance.
I'd love to see Valve release a new PC 'console'. Sell it at a loss like the Xbox and PlayStation so it's more competitively priced. Have it running Steam OS instead of Windows. It'd be like the Steam Decks bigger brother.

I just built this with the PNY 4090. You need to take the fans out. cut half of one of the plastic alignment nubs on the front panel and you either have to take out one of the knuckle clips on the side panel cause I hits the metal back panel on the gpu or mark the back panel, take it of, and use a dremel to shave a small portion of it off so you can use the side panel knuckle clip. This gpu just fits side to side. Literally, it touches both sides.

I don't know how you managed to find a such a good and niche idea that surprisingly appeals to everyone, due to the fact that most people are only casual gamers and not hardcore gamers. Your channel is such a nice discovery ! Definitely subbed !
Thank you so much for this video! Can't wait to build my own mini gaming PC. I never got a PC in the past cause they're too big, and take up too much space, as I'm traveling a lot for my job. With this PC, I could have awesome performance, while making it feasible to take along with me on my travels! THANK YOU FOR THIS!!
It's not a 4070, all but in name only.
wow this is incredible. im obsessed with mini itx and would love to build something this small soon! thanks for the inspo man 🤩
Loving your mini builds, they're pretty interesting in part choice and design
I really like your pc building videos. The quality of your videos is really satisfying to watch.
I did this exact same build just 2 weeks ago, been loving it so far. Olny difference is I used a sf750 and a 3080 ti, works great!
itx lovers 😊😊
did the 3080 fit well?
I had a evga ftw3 ultra 3080 ti and it actually fit surprisingly well, cables had to be smooshed slightly to get the top on and you need slim fans or no fans, otherwise yes!@@TheMrMikle
just bought all the same parts (mostly) super excited to build this thanks for the build!
I'm a minimalist PC gamer with *console envy,* and this build is right up my alley! Terrific video! I subbed because I'd love to see more builds like this!
*EDIT:* Looks like I found a new phrase to troll PCMR elitists with. 😂
there is nothing to envy about consoles
@@wellnesportstore9519 price/performance/looks/simplicity
@@Ultra-Settings did you just typed performance? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@wellnesportstore9519 Hope you're aware that they parallelly connect hundreds of consoles together to do simulation computations in various military areas. So yes performance. Don't get me wrong, I still do hate consoles starting from the day they blocked booting windows. But gotta be objective.

I have a decent pc (i5 13600kf, 64gb ram, 6700xt)
most normal peole who wanna play rocket leauge, cod & other Esport titles dont need a 4070
i am a pc user because i like the freedom of modding things and upgrading parts instead of being in a fixed buy cycle.
I have been building rigs since around 1978. Man, I wish I was younger and not running out of time. I could have so many wicked projects on the go. Oh well, was a good run. No Regerts!
The price is also on steroids😅
Dude, I am one of those that almost never sees value in subscribing.
But you explained and filmed it so well and I am always looking for a even more compact solution that this video hit the point. I am subscribed now❤
Temps are definitely great, a lot to do with the fact that you have paired one of the two most energy efficient pc components on the market
Thanks for your video. Waited so long to assembly a PC for gaming in my flat for so long cause I've never found any balance between compact system and power, being reasonable of the power consumption.
You hit the spot. Saw your video, ordered the same parts RIGHT AWAY! Well done! Lol
Great build! How does this stack up against the NZXT H1v2 rig that you built in terms of temps? Is the latter enough to cool the 7800X3D?
Its not a hot chip, in fact all the 3D-Vcache chips are lower wattage than the standard ones.
This build is dope, might have to build this before my next deployment, this is like perfect travel pc.
But the cost..?
i have a 4070 FE bought the last one in my local best buy for retail. Now everytime I see one i grin and look at my own.
I’ve been following your work since the M1 MacBook Air. The way you make your videos is always enjoyable, and quick and to the point. There is one category I would’ve loved to see considering how AMD and Nvidia are using efficiency as their selling points, how is the power consumption between the Xbox/PS and PC?
Thank you! Thats a great idea, I'll look into adding that info into future videos. I actually picked up a power meter to measure the total system power draw from the wall to use as well.
@@devyn.johnston Oh alright, hope to see it soon!
Fractal has the BEST support I have ever encountered. Their cases are the best designed I have encountered. Fractal. CAN NOT GO WRONG.
Impressive thermals considering the build size. Wish I went SFF, but there are so few bundle deals for smaller builds these days. Best you can really do is ATX in a smaller chassis. Is this going to be your daily driver for now?
Damn bro after I saw the RAM clearance to your CPU cooler fan I really appreciated what you did with this build 😮
Would you achieve better gpu temps by flipping the fan direction to go with the gpu fan direction instead of going against it?
he has to reverse the fan imo too.
Thanks!
I hope companies continue to develop small form factor components. AMD's new mobile chipset is impressive and if we can figure out how to blend actually powerful processors and GPUs with laptops and small PCs, I'm hopeful we'll be well on our way to replacing consoles. This build looks great and performs well. Awesome job 👍
Lmfa if pcs replaced consoles altogether there would not be any game worthwhile coming out, only free to pay games would dominate like in android
I like both, but not needing to pay an XBOX Live or PS Plus subscription for my PC is pretty great. If those were free, like they should be, I'd still be fighting for consoles.
@@thseed7 if you like playing old games on highend pc, its up to you, that's what ive do for 10 years and not worth it. owning both, PS5VR2 and PC VR is best ,(pc vr games is dying) and console bring QUALITY games! atleast now i havent play uncharted ps4,, on PS5 PS games pass, is all reshaded or remaster 4K 60-120fps. and is more immersive to play on giant highend 4k TV than a little 32' monitor.
@@690Dragonx the PC I'm typing this on is hooked up to a 4K 65" TV with refresh rates and response times comparable to higher mid-range monitors. GPUs have HDMI outputs since what? 2010 or 2012? Also, I have access to tons of XBOX and PlayStation games on PC plus thousands of AAA PC releases. I'm not trying to argue about platform. Console or PC. As I said, I have a PC, an XBOX and a PlayStation. I'm saying that consoles are starting to push into mid range PC budgets and manufacturers could soon pack full scale PC performance into something the size of a console. I play 4K ultra with Ray Tracing at 120+ FPS on PC. The consoles limit frame rates to 30 or 60 FPS at 4K. My comment is me simply hoping for technological advancement and performance improvements in gaming with all these smaller form factor cases.
@@690Dragonx no. My TV is a 2022. I'm saying you could hook up PCs via HDMI since 2010. My PC and television are significantly more capable than my PlayStation or XBOX. Again, I'm not saying consoles are bad, I'm saying we're closer to having the performance/features of full PCs now. I think that will great for gamers
This looks amazing. Greatly narrated video. I have a 3080 custom build and PS5 but this still makes me jealous lol
This build is sick! What would you recommend for an intel cpu version instead? I have an i7-13700K that I am hoping to make a similar build with.
Hey! Did you get around building this? I am planning on using a 14600kf but I think the tdp is a bit high to keep cool in this build
Brilliant build - and video. Amazed at the amount of info you have managed to cram in roughly 12 minutes.
Glad i found this channel. Ive been getting into sff recently. Been wanting to build a pc for a while but going strugbt to sff eill be a challenge. These videos help.
The cpu alone is the same price as a PS5. Lol.
Man that's beautiful, coming from the IDE Cable era the pain in the ass building that will be worth it.
@@mr8I7 When you think about it consoles are very similar to PC’s and vice versa. Graphics cards are so dang expensive even with less people buying them for crypto. Would be cool if Steam could create 3-4 systems based on budget.
Naaah.. That shit will age like milk because of the 12gb vram. Better wait for a 16gb+ card.
This is so well recorded and edited.
He used a 4070, he betrayed the pc community
As a console gamer - I find this build pleasing.
11:00 81°C and it is only halfway through :)
Nice air heater, bro :)
I priced this up. It's A £2,000 build. Hmmm.

1700$ too much

It's a long term investment beacuse 99% of games on pc are free 😂 torrent
subscribed for the relaxed feeling of the video and the quality of it .
Keeping the cost of this build aside, and talking just about the build, it looks.... Pretty+Powerful, congrats! This build is a great inspiration for PC enthusiasts.
to answer your question on 8:47 mark. Yes you should continue making these videos. And im liking and subscribing.
Nice build, It's cool how your basically just sucking the air from outside the side panel wherever it's needed.
I have a 13+ year old sock Dell PC that is probably 80lb uses far too much power and is noisier than I care to listen to. What a contrast this thing is.
As a 40's, daddy/husband, this build is perfection for living room. I'd play everything with my son on it. Nice choices.
Sick build. Perfect for me. I will be saving your video because i will be building this PC
I thought you had like 100k subs at least watching the video. truly underrated instantly subscribed
You had me right up to the 661.76 dollar video card. lol... awesome build sir, very compact and well thought out.
This is what I have been looking for.. especially for my first amd build I love this style cause I fit it right on my entertainment shelf and play all my steam games on my TV without having to buy Xbox or Playstation
Bruh, I don't know why I stumbled on your channel, and gave your build an ENTIRE WATCH... Oh wait, yeah I do! The side by side with the PS5 and then the sexy internals on the pc next to it. MMMMph. Dayum, thats a one sexy PC. Excellent build and perfect fittings. I'm sure they'll have a gen 4 replacement of the riser sooner than later. It's dope because the couple things that you had to sacrifice, really are just going to be temporary things.
Wicked build.
This is so cool. It's more powerful than my pc and so much smaller. The portability is a great selling point.
I will definitely look into this fractal case build. Thanks for this great video.
literally my dream build, great work
That's one compact PC, all fan cooling too. Good job mate.
Wonderful video man, quality is insane so is the detail. Can you please make a complete ITX build video for a beginner in this same case? I haven't seen anyone else show a complete ITX build as tutorial.
huge plus of the 7800x3d is that effiiency, that 3D cache really helps that CPU. It wasnt drawing over 40W throughout all the tests. For an 8 core cpu that is very impressive, would want to do this kind of build just for my desk setup even.
Have you ever heard of optimum tech? Your styles and high quality videos are really similar in the best way possible! instant sub
Nothing on PC or any other consoles can beat a Sony first party game with so many accessibility options and the DualSense with gyro and haptic controller. It’s definitely revolutionary! Come at me!
Wow my dream comes true. I made the setup in pcpartpicker but instead of 4070ti i've placed a 7900 XTX. It fits perfectly and gives 24GB of ram 200 bucks cheaper than 4080.
I live these little builds . Nice video
That price is also on steroids 🔥
legit soooo building this!!!! great video brotha!
I love this stusf, and i am a PC builder my self and have always been. BUT, right now i am running GeForce Now direct as an app on my LG OLED Tv in the living room.... it is a game changer and cost a fraction of a new graphics card.
I made this pc few days ago.Truly feels like gaming on a console but you can play games which are not on console.
How did you get your thermals down? My thermals sitting at 57C in bios with updated bios and exact same build
