Whats more messed up, the amount of streamers getting falsely banned, or the fact most cheaters arent?
Creators can easily create alt accounts without the risk of getting banned as quickly as those who stream playing a game on an alt account.

or they do cheat and don't get banned aka. The Ark Survival Evolved publisher snail games recently banned around 100 people including some content creators on youtube and twitch. The reason for the ban was because they were raiding the publishers tribe and would have succeeded if it was not for the bans. Now those 100 players can't play on any official server.

The Halo ban wasn't a ban, everyone got that message if you killed yourself too many times or left games too often, it was simply a poorly worded timeout, mostly for just 10 minutes or so.
The iiTzTimmy situation is completely wrong. Firstly he wasnt going to be permanently banned from val, only on the account that he used to speedrun. 2nd, he was able to get the account back and finish the speedrun right after.

Valve's account lock for chargebacks is only temporary. It does NOT restrict you from playing games and does NOT remove any games EXCEPT the ones that were purchased using the PayPal account that issued the chargeback. You can still carry on playing games and it only restricts the account from adding or removing anything to it, as stated in the account alert itself, "Purchasing, gifting, trading, buying and selling items on the Community Market, and cd-key activation have been disabled."
Valve has also lessened the account lock restrictions for chargebacks to be only 4 weeks in 2020. Only chargebacks of over $500 will issue permanent account locks.
But in any case, the payment method used that issued the chargeback will forever be banned from use on Steam.
On May 29, 2024, Valve added one extra restriction for account locks, "Steam accounts that have an active account lock are no longer allowed to play on secure Counter-Strike game servers" for Counter-Strike 2.
There was just some misleading information by the streamer and you about this particular restriction.

so some other guy said this but he stole his moms creddit card and bought a lot of games... his mom litterly got him banned cause she thought her creddit card was getting used by someone she didnt know
