Wherever there are the monuments to fallen soldiers in the overworld, there's a big rock with three ghosts holding undecayed weapons in the depths.
A secret i found which is kinda weird is that on the back of bargainer statues you can see a demonic face it is the easiest to see at the bargainers statue under the forgotten temple
for those who don't know, in the depth under the monuments that Princess Zelda made, there is a large stone platform with three ghosts holding a sword, a claymore, and a spear.
So thats what those are
What are Zelda’s monuments
@@trickyhenhenp4545 the small stone slabs with a silent princess on them dedicated to those lost during the calamity.
@@dragonkingdarkrider7118 oh
The whole depths has them. 900 or so ghosts with weapons 😂
When I first saw the blood moon scene in totk I always felt like something was off with that Zelda.
Also fun fact in the depths you can find a Lynel under each spot where there’s a horse stable
I WAS GONNA SAY THAT MYEH
@@JudeEaley ok
Honestly same, I had a feeling that it was probably a fake and that it was before it was even mentioned or revealed to be the case.
except for one of the stables, but i can't remember which one
The theme of the champions and their divine beasts also is a subtle hint at Link and the player to remember what happened last time and to not let it happen again.
There's actually an exception under I *believe* snowfield stable.
Patricia (Sand seal in SW Gerudo town) reveals the location of quests if you give her a splash fruit. Eventually the location she gives is the location of the Demon King.
*Beats Ganondorf then feeds Patricia* ok, what do you have left? *Says city, street, house, and irl name*
I love how she straight up doxxes the exact coordinates of them
I thought she only gave orb locations until she gave a new set.

If you wear the Zonaite Mask, Mineru’s construct will wear it too, gaining the red hair from the mask.
And the other sages when you wear their divine helms

The music that plays when you enter the depths will forever haunt me

BWAAAAAWWWYAAW
I love the music
Eff that...the music that plays when them gloom hands come at you are scary af😅😅😅
It’s not even scary
"Shiekah tech gone without an explanation, one of purahs books tell you that they disassembled all of them to never make the same mistake ever again."
The irony is the towers were supposed to be an early warning system for Ganon.
@@TheJcris87 The way you phrased it I keep hearing the radio announcer go "This is a test of the Emergency Ganon System™. Had this been an actual emergency, Link would have been contacted by dispatch to deal with it."
The game actually _does_ tell you about the Stalhorse. When using the Malanya bed at any stable, one of the possible messages from Malanya mentions the Stalhorse and its immunity to gloom.
Also one of the Yiga handbook mentions it
The Schema stone that the Shrine of Resurrection construct gives you is a reference to the Master Cycle Zero. It's a motorcycle-like vehicle with a beam emitter on the front, referencing the unicorn head on the front of the cycle.
Hm... but when i went there there was no construct.. do you have to do something first?
@@shark_girlkill them... kill them all...
I got that, but with no beam emitter, was only a light. And the construct sucks!
@@shark_girlYou need first unlock the autobuild.
I got the beam one too
In Japanese version of Tears of the Kingdom, the sign in Link's house is said "Our house" instead of 'Zelda's House' which heavily applies that Link and Princess Zelda are in a involved relationship as they lived in Hateno Village (another evidence that Zelink is canon in both TOTK and BOTW).
Cool
So, technically, Link has a harem with Zelda and multiple Gerudo.
Journal kinda points to their life together as "they" settled down and she started a school.
Ooo
It's pretty heavily implied in the US version as well
The devine helms also give a moderate boost to the corresponding sages attack power while equipped. Similar to but lesser than upgrading their vows with sage’s wills.
On the other hand, they stack. Also, the Zonaite helm does the same for Mineru.
I didn't hear it mentioned but, you know speaking of that, what the armor in the thumbnail is with Vah Rudania's helm?
@@THEFINALHAZARD it’s from breath of the wild. Called the “Ancient Set”
@@PaletaJoe2 ooooh gotcha, thanks
The thumbnail has the Ancient Armor set. It doesn’t show up in Tears of the Kingdom
exactly! I clicked because I hoped it would show up!
Same, I clicked it because I thought “maybe I just haven’t found it”
Repurchasing Legendary Weapons was the one thing I hadn't seen mentioned elsewhere before. Thank you.
Purah’s childhood bedroom in the tower (where the guardian is) has drawings of some botw things including the sheikah towers!
They were there in BotW.
Here's an actual fact.
In the secondary quest entitled "Messages from the Ancient Era", in addition to being deepened through the engravings on the steles the characters of Zelda, Sonia, Rauru and Mineru, it's confirmed that it was Mineru's technology that raised the celestial islands in the sky.
- One of these steles also delves into why the shrines were erected. After the foundation of the kingdom of Hyrule, monsters often appeared in various regions for a certain time and for this reason, the king and queen, once defeated those monsters, managed thanks to the power of light and time to build shrines in which to seal them because they never came back to life. From here it's possible to deduce that the reason why the Lightroots are placed right under the shrines and are able to purify the gloom, is because they draw energy from the powers of Sonia and Rauru.
1:31 this was a very cool addition by the devs
Link humming the Zelda theme song while cooking😂
Fist time i heard Link hum that i fell in love with this revolutionary Zelda
It’s nice that Lurelin Village is more interesting . It was just great opportunity to find a shrine previously
A "secret": dialogue with one of the Yiga clan members, in one of the Yiga bases, reveals that the Yiga are in fact behind the "monster" trees.
wait, are you talking about the actual trees? the alive ones?
cause I think they're referring to the yiga as trees, y'know, the ones that appear from picking up banana traps, as they poof in from them, I think
@@Shiftywastaken it could be, but they don't phrase it as a trap, the direct quote is, "there is no way he knows we're disguising ourselves as trees to ambush him." It could be referring to the singular quest; however, given the structure and that trees in Zelda haven't demonstrated such vengeance before, it seems highly likely to me to be the explanation for their sudden change. Also given that they show no effects like malice corrupting them, and none of the trees in the depths attack you (where the yiga primarily run their tests and aren't shown to be expecting link).
@@cuddlysharkcandythose trees do actually appear in the depths, and some are infected with gloom
@@nothankyou1176 you're totally right! I completely forgot that 😁 though the comment from the yiga member doesn't come from one affiliated with the quest in question. It is commented at one of their bases. But maybe the gloom affecting ones in the depths counts against my initial instinct
The evermeans are seperate creatures
After completing the Lurelin Village Reconstruction side quest, there is a NPC that will encounter tells Link about Princess Zelda's visit to the Lover's Pond with her knight accompanying her (a proof that Link and Zelda are indeed involved in a relationship).
Are you talking about Numar? He only mentions that Zelda comes to Lurelin Village disguised as a traveler and would go up to Lover's Pond in the evening, at 5PM, when the pink fairies show up. He also doesn't mention Link at all. But knowing Zelda's character, I'm pretty sure she would be studying that. lol
I'm going to go there at 5pm
"(Koume and Kotake) never had as big a role as they did (in Ocarina of Time)"
The Oracle Games would like to say hello, as Twinrova are literally the driving force behind those two games, even serving as the climax boss of the linked games (with mindless zombie Ganon being the true final boss).
Those two games were awesome, they deserve a remake. The handheld games often get overlooked
@@xolitaire Without the garbage redesign for the switch version of Awakening, please.
If you go to where the old man sat with the baked apple in BotW, you can see a very special NPC
It's a trap
Fake person
It’s also dependent on doing a side quest too beforehand, they won’t appear otherwise!
@@Bluegirl12345no it isn't
If you look up in the hateno ancient tech lab you’ll see a scrapped design for a Devine beast in botw.I’m pretty sure it’s a manta ray devine beast originally to be located in necluda
It's also there in BotW
another thing in about depths and the serfice mirror thing, is that wherever there is a forest on the surface, there is a grove in the depths.
In either the Gloom Blade or in a Gloom Spear, there are two names written in Gerudo text: Kotake and Koume, the surrogate mothers of Ganondorf.
Since we only seen them in two dragon tear cutscenes, I hope we get a to see TOTK’s version of Twinrova in DLC.
Not only for either a Playable Princess Zelda with the Ancient Sages or Link accompanied with the New Generation of Sages face her off.
But to explore the origins of Ganondorf and learning Gerudo's early way of life living in the militaristic way. Thus, completing his entire story while connecting the dots how Breath of the Wild is related to Tears of the Kingdom.
Can we all agree on bringing Twinrova back?
Geeeee i sure wish he had said that in the video.
@@RealbluesparkFN There are alot of things he is missing out on.
I agree with all of this
Someone please answer this: from what I've read there isn't going to be any DLCs for Tears Of The Kingdom
The stalhorse's compendium entry literally says it can gallop over the gloom.
I just always used Mineru's construct. It was too much of a pain to look for a stalhorse every time I needed to cross a big puddle of gloom.
There is also a yiga clan notebook that talks about it in one of their bases
Love the koume and kotake references they are one of my most memorable things from OoT
It was so nice to see a tribute to Gunpei Yokoi after all this time. Especially after Sakamoto basically took credit for most of what he did.
No one really talks about this, but if the burn the Yiga banner thats in the shrine of resurection, there is a secret chest behind it.
That thumbnail really hyped me up… thought the ancient armor was back.
Rember this is a shitty low quality content farm channel that clibaits about things why EXPECT ANYTHING ABOUT WATCHMOJO
7:53 I miss the guardians. ):
The depths definitely do remind me of the dark world from A Link To The Past, especially since when you're exploring and can't access an area or are blocked off by walls in the depths you have to teleport back to the surface and look for another chasm entrance
Even though they are alive in an alternate reality, I miss Daruk, Revali, Mipha and Urbosa.
It is theorized that Tulin meeting up with Revali in Age of Calamity led to the former's initial brashness in Tears of the Kingdom.
@@Chaos89PAge of Calamity isn’t canon and Tulin never actually met Revali in this timeline. If it were I’m sure Mipha would still be alive
I don’t miss Ravali very much but Mipha will always have a place on my heart
@@LinksQuest Mine as well. Mipha is too sweet to live in a cruel world we are living in. And she would’ve been happy to see Sidon marrying Yona and becomes a new Zora King.
@@LinksQuest the revali slander is wild man
I am VERY bummed about the Guardians not being in TotK. It was fun to dodge them and get that adrenaline going early game and grinding them late game. Plus the song is a banger.
Also very lucrative to smash their limbs and then take them out.
There is a guardian in tears of the kingdom. It's right outside the second floor of either the Hateno Research Lab or the Akkala Research Lab. You will find a sparkly spot indicating a korok.
@@SarahLivingston85 You and I both know that a deactivated Guardian to look at is not the same as active ones running around that you can fight (also, every Skyview Tower is an inverted Guardian shell that has been stripped down and repurposed).
@@KainYusanagi I know but I loved the deactivated guardians in Breath Of The Wild cuz you can find ancient materials in them
@@SarahLivingston85 1) Yes, but they weren't just deactivated, they were destroyed remnants laying on ancient battlefields; that was awesome. A single one sitting atop a building that does nothing other than look neat is lame. 2) Single Zonai Charges in destroyed constructs just is not the same.
2:33 Another game that referenced the ultrahand Nintendo product was Splatoon 3. Harmony from the general store is playing with it when you come in.
3:26 just thought I'd point out that the schema stone given to you by this construct is a motorbike with a beam emitter on the front, which is a reference to the master cycle from breath of the wild.
10:56 If we do her quest before completing the Gerudo main dungeon, she’ll fail at cooking Creamy Heart Soup and give you rock-hard food instead!
5:22 also, if you wear a divine helm the attacks from the corresponding sage’s attack will become more powerful.
Love this video!
👍🏻🇸🇪
Dude, u can talk to any sage after getting the divine helm and they will already say that.
When Zelda goes back in time there is a shot of Goron mountain and it has the ring on it like it did in Ocarina of Time
As well as the divine helms, the zonaite helm will give mineru the same look as the helmet. Pretty cool!
I didn't noticed the mothers of Ganondorf!! These were actually nice to know about, I just spotted a few while playing xD
Well, surrogate mothers. Neither actually birthed him, just like before.
Gunpei Yokoi...i remember doing a school project on him once, and like anyone going through school, you of course wouldnt want to do it...but the MOMENT i found out he was in Nintendo, i put my all into the project, and found out he even made the Game and Watch and stull like the ultra hand
heres a secret for you that no one is talking about:
consider the names of Rauru and Mineru. if you combine the names of the two siblings, youd get something like minerauru. this sounds almost identical to how a japanese person would pronounce the word "mineral". and, what new "mineral" was added in TotK? Zonaite. if you take both names as separate items, mineru would be mineral, while rauru, would be law. ^_^
I love wordplay
.....what?
Mabye in DLC we could be having a meeting with the sages (not including Mineru) and with purah and zelda/link when the master sword teleports them back to the rime with raru, and they fight twinrova and she/they makes a refrence to being faught by link in previous games
Why did you bait me with the ancient armor?
so annoying
Also, for the schema stone I am pretty sure it is a nod to the Master Cycle Zero from the dlc seeing as you had to go there to reach the trial for it and the schema stone is the Beam cycle, another motorbike with a unicorn head
Most likely off-topic but I am embarrassed to say that I took 15 logs from Satori Mountain all the way to Lurelin Village...and did it first try but let me tell you was it a HELL to figure out where i can use the transporters and fans and all that i was able to luckily attach afterwards, when i already started i was already just like "i ain't interested in resetting this now, we pullin this through"
I heard that below every fallen hero monument there is a ghost in the depths, you know those ghosts that hold swords
The Calyban one is honestly heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, because we all know that Link won't actually be with her in the end, and he's taking advantage of her until then. :/
Great video
the schema stone you get in resurrection cave is also an easter egg for the master cycle zero
divine masks also make your sages attack power increase while wearing them
Good video!
I miss the zelda blood moon it seems plain without her
I think no one noticed that when you get the rubber shirt in the cave if you ascend you pop up at a shrine.😊
OMG TY I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE LAST SCHEMA STONE
Anyone here miss the Ancient Armour?
I do it would be a great combo whith the divine Helms
It was my go to armor set.
@@tinothee8650 it looked so cool, at least we got the next best thing: Fierce Deity Armour
@@coltforceplayer I will admit that, unless I was fighting guardians, I didn’t use the helmet. I dyed one of the Hylian Hoods to match the armor. Would’ve loved the hood down variant with the Ancient Armor.
The scemati stone he gives you is a reference to the master cycle as it is a motor bike and the yoga hideout is a reference to the boss fight you do there with the monk
The yiga clan banner in the shrine of resurrection hole can be burned and there's a secret behind it.
Great video and some awesome details. But if y'all are gonna have the same song looping the whole 20 minutes can it at least be a theme from the game?
Seriously - how many green tunics does Link really need? LOL. Plus the arms of the Guardians are part of the towers. Also - for almost every korok in BOTW - there's a korok in the same place or very close to the same place in TOTK.
4:23 You can also just hit the ground with a rock weapon, it works too.
or you could just walk next to it and align it on your back
Koume and Kotake's names are also on their sashes in the cutscene
Don't fully know if you mentioned it or not, but I have one for you. I call it "a story told". Warning spoilers
In one of the back-flashes, Ganon will visit the king and mention that he chose to stay behind when the others returned to the heavens.
This is supported by the stories we're told in the other games about the birth of the kingdom.
Tal Tal heights had a banger ost though...
You can also get Sheik's mask in Tears of the Kingdom
The shrine of resurrection in totk hits the same way as týr's temple in god of war ragnarok.
no one cares about god of war. its 2023, not 2003.

I find it cute that deep down ganondorf is a mamas boy XD
2:34 Omg, just now realizing that the Clock Town Bomb Shop has a giant Gamecube in it, completely with four controller ports and two memory card slots.
Purah is my favorite!
If you go to Robbies lab you can find another guardian on the top and the travel medallion
@mojoplays please answer this: you can still get the divine beast helms from the Daruk Revali Mipha and Urbosa amiibo in tears of the kingdom. Cuz I have not completed the game and I already have all four of the divine beast helms
For the depths, each named mountain except death mountain has a canyon mine direcyunderneath. plus all hot springs have lava flows underneath
6:55 The Fierce Deity mask has returned!!!!!!!

that opening will keep everyone hooked for the forst ten seconds
The divine beast helms also make the sages attacks do more damage!
there is multiple sheikah tech remnants at that lab, like scout heads and the guardian there too.
Amazon woman wants to go snoo snoo with Link, haha, but I think a misspell it
I like how humble Sonia's grave is. I am sure that was on purpose by the Devs to represent how selfless her & Rauru were.
Dang. I knew creamy heart soup had to be somewhere but haven't found it yet. I just remembered the recipe from botw
Mineru will also wear a zonai helm, if you wear the zonai helm!
link humming is precious 😭
As for Link's house in Hutto village. The Japanese version comfirms her and Link been together for about 4-5yrs inbetween BOTW AND TOTK. she even calls the house "their house" so she just moved in. That's probably why the champion BOTW dlc picture remains where it was in BOTW so you know he still lives in that house. Nintendo just decided to play it safe with international and U.S. releases of the game in case someone bought the game bit didn't play BOTW.
if you listen closely at 1:35 you will hear the wind fish song. Personally I loved link’s awakening.
I kinda miss the plot armor (ancient armor) from breath of the wild. I hope it will be added as an DLC armor tho
somthing must people havent notice yet and could be great to speak about is that if u get first the weaponds and later the bargain status location u can buy them EACH time u speak with them .... u welcome if u didnt know
9:41 Yeah, it rocks
10:45 You absolutely cannot fuse one of those bottles to a shield. It is not a fuse item it is only an ultrahand item
I personally think the depths are the twilight realm, because their both worlds of darkness that reflect the light world, or surface. Also the zonias and the twilis design are simular in general
I completed the champions ballad dlc for botw before even starting totk, but I don't see that group picture in links house in hetano village for some reason.
I think he was looking for an excuse to leave, and this was the excuse he used lol... you right O'Shea
If the fierce deity sword breaks. Put on the fierce deity armor. Used the fierce deity sword amiibo, and you'll get back the fierce deity sword. Did you know this information? I also created the best slider for the sheild. It's called a cart slider. Which can be attached to any sheilds.
