At that time the town i grew up in had 4 implement dealers and 3 car dealerships. I worked for area farmers during the summer and worked full time on farm's a few years so have witnessed the transformation of farming from a perspective that most people have not. So you my dear have made me aware of the challenges you face every day. It's obvious that farmers are not in it for the money. I hope that you find the mister right that will love honor and cherish you and start your family. Thanks for sharing modern farming with me and looking forward to your future farming updates. Keep swinging for the fences especially on those days you'd rather not. FYI i think that the future of American is in some very capable hands. Take care of you.
For your next eye appointment, to keep from having to have your eyes dilated, bring a picture of the combine and show it to the doctor. LOL. Anybody that can clean up a combine that good has great eye sight 20-20 vision. A chordless orbital buffer will help you remove the wax on the flat smooth surfaces, I recommend it because a orbital buffer buffs at a slow speed and will not burn the paint like a high speed buffer will if you leave it buffing in one spot too long, and the cordless one will keep the chord from getting tangled up and possibly causing a wrist or hand injury. We used to have the largest car detail shop in my town.
STRUTH! It's always nice to see well maintained machinery, but you don't always think of the job that goes into keeping them nice and shiny. Someone has to do the work!! Awesome!

Combine looks great! If you’re ever able to i definitely recommend getting equipment ceramic coated. It makes clean up a breeze and you don’t have to wax anything. It’s expensive but it’s so worth it!

To get to the high parts of my truck, when I used to wax it, I have an extendable wash brush, would attach the rag on the sponge, and get the hard to reach places that way. BTW, not a big fan of the snow, driving in it in a semi, nerve racking, but I like seeing it stuck to the evergreens in Wisconsin, or if it's a heavy frost seeing it stuck to everything. Makes the miles go by faster.

Try ProNano Plus soap. It's completely touchless and does a great job cleaning cars and equipment. If you have a foam gun you can use it with a pressure washer.

Waxing sure is time consuming and tedious. But dam it. It sure makes that green paint sexy! Don’t judge yaw. Everyone who loves equipment knows that green paint just hits you different!!! Keep it up my fellow Americans!!!!!

Great mini video, Erin's Dad really looks after his machines, he may want to consider after waxing to put on a ceramic coating which is easy to apply and which helps protect the waxing and paint for much longer and also makes it easier to clean.

I've actually never heard of waxing farming equipment before. Washing yes, but waxing? Does it actually protect the finish and stave off rusting, or is it purely a cosmetic thing to make the combine look shiny?

Erin, there are much easier waxes now, a ceramic hybrid wax would be a breeze to apply rather than the old way of doing it.

Hand waxing a car is a lot of work. So a combine is incomparable.
