GameSir T4 Kaleid Controller Review-Anti Stick Drift and Gorgeous!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 лип 2024
- This controller has magnetic hall effect thumbstick modules to avoid stick drift, mechanical face buttons with a 5 million click tap life, feels extremely comfortable and looks bad ass. The down side is this gamepad is only combatable with Switch (wired to the dock) and PC, and as it's wired only I won't be using it for casual console play on my Switch much. In X-input you also lose the function of your 3.5mm jack which is weird.

so i got this gamepad today, after updating the software using their gamepad, you now can choose polling rate and yes, according to xinput test 1000hz is indeed working.
I've been using this controller plugged into the wingman adapter, didn't expect it to work without an update on either but it does work straight out of the box😊, atleast there's a reason for me to update it. I really like my shooters and using zero deadzone is such a treat. I don't use aim assist and use linear if it's an option. Genuinely such a treat using this controller, only con is the wired connection but it's worth it to me tbh.
THIS...
This is one of the best reviews I have ever seen of anything! GGs my man.
Fantastic review. I ordered mine the other day, and I cannot wait to get it in my hands!!! So unbelievably happy to see someone I actually subscribe to put out a video on it.
That makes me happy
what is ur opinion? great deal or what
I am thankful for this review. I think this is the wired controller i need for my PC.
Just ordered it, thanks for the review
Pumping out the reviews! Love it. Waiting for this one to come to my door, this is kind of the controller I've been looking for (RGB, Hall effect, great rear button placement, etc.) Between this, DSedge, powerA's redemption arch, it's been a year for GamePads.
I was absolutely blown away by the T4 Kaleid. I can't believe just how many home runs GameSir hit with this controller. Hoping for a wireless version to come out in the near future- if it does I'll buy four!
Ordered mine today, can't wait to receive it!
MAN!!!!!! This controller is perfect. It's got a great value for its price and looks so cool! I just can't wait to own it😍
Not sure how accurate these results are but someone on reddit posted this.
Min 2.890900 ms - Max 4.008000 ms - Jitter 0.075298 ms Average 3.825048 ms - Polling Rate 261.434641 Hz
This was from a 1000 samples test
What subreddit you get this from?
@@caniseeyourbody r/controller. I just googled gamesir t4 kaleid polling rate.
Saw a short form video about this, searched for a review and ended up here. Crazy in depth review, and I was glad to see you playing COD since that’s what I’ll be playing. GG’s!
This controller is incredible value, very impressive! Just need console versions and mouse click triggers, and I'd snatch one up.
Ive been following you since ive came across your page and I go to your channel as soon as I am interested in something new and love that you are always ahead of me. Keep up the good work and I cant wait to see the next video
Thanks man, I appreciate that. I’ll keep it up
Awesome in-depth review Kevin! For PC gaming this controller offers so much value. Essentially a GameSir G7 with upgraded Hall Effect thumbsticks. Since GameSir goes this hard with a $40 controller, I'd like to see what they can do with a $70 "pro" controller. Definitely gonna cop a T4 Kaleid!
I would want a bigger version. With trigger stops, and a tall stick for the right thumbstick, 4 paddles instead of 2. And its basically what every xbox/ps/pc user has been wanting. We would easily pay 150-200 for it. Cause what we're getting for that money now, is kind of a joke.
@@HeartInLight trigger stoppers are the best and smart bumpers and digital buttons
@@HeartInLight why do people want trigger stops so bad? Why don’t people just flip the bumper and trigger binds for shooters?

@@noWoodsman ig, took me around 3 days of 2 hrs a day to make the switch though. It isn’t like ur switching to playing claw 🤷🏻♂️. Also found since they are higher up it gave me a better grip on my joysticks so as an added side effect my aim also improved
great vid like always bro! I had a Gamesir g3 with the included phone clip that was one of the most reliable gamepads I ever owned. And it was incredibly simple to take apart and clean. I don't even think I paid 30 dollars for it too. I've moved on since then because I drove that think until the tires came off lol.
had mine for about a week and i love it so much Im thinking about doing a first impressions video on it later this week
I wish this controller had 4 rear buttons!! But I still ordered one using your link in the description! 💪
Same here , and nice I hope you like it
So far BEST $38 I've spent even though I haven't even put the thing through it's paces. Just from a feel and aesthetic POV along with it being the first hall effects controller I've ever bought, it could have cost more and I wouldn't complain. It's already given me inspiration for what my ideal controller would be if I could design one. Also I'm not into tinkering with controller settings as I'm just the plug and play type but thanks for this detailed video, tossed the manual and watched this instead. 👍👍
I bought this last month and instantly fell in love with it. I had an issue with the B button not pushing down when pressed at a certain angle from the right side, but it got fixed after a few days. It did develop a small stick drift after 2 weeks on non stop Apex Legends, but I only experience it when using no deadzone on linear settings (in game). I can't believe the face buttons are my favorite thing about this thing. So satisfying to press
Another great video
Thank you
Bing bong! I was so happy with this review that I bought this controller!
cant wait for this I ordered this one yesterday i'm very much excited i think it's an upgrade from my 8bitdo Pro 2 -wireless/bluetooth
I think I am going to grab this bad boy. I can't wait any longer for a decent pro controller with hall effect sticks and this checks out most of my boxes. $40 for Halleffect, mechanical face buttons and rear buttons seems super nice. Although I wish the trigger stops were actually physical and not just software swtich and the dpad had mechanical switches as well but if Kevin says this is the best membrane dpad he tried im gonna trust him on this. My poor OG Razer Wolverine Tournament edition is starting to give out unfortunately after good 5 years of use. Dpad up has double-clicking issues and sticks are drifting harder than Formula Drift drivers
Same. After 3 years, my sticks are tiast on Razer Wolverine Ultimate. I like the button placement on the T4k better than the Razer ultimate, and the accuracy is nuts.
And now you can change the pulling rate to 1000hz
has the controller held up well?

Glad to hear that Nick
NICE. I've been wanting to find a decent looking controller with all mech/hall switches. I'm def gonna treat myself to this for my birthday xD
I have this controller, bought it on recommendation of our Controller Captain. I just started using it this week, playing Apex Legends, and I am happy. This is awesome with the Hall Effect. The clicky-clickity-click buttons, in general a pleasure to pick up and use. The looks...just sitting there un-used, it has a pleasant look to it with the lighting, and see-through body.
I will re-buy this, because it's worth to have one or more for spare and/or travel.
So satisfied with this.
Hey man! I love your reviews they're absolutely great. Altho there is one detail that's never covered and its thumbstick tension. Like the ps controllers have more tension compared to xbox ones. Thank you for all the great videos so far!
Before buying any controller, I always watch GamerHeavan before deciding my pick. Right now the Razer Raiju is killer. Old school which is what I need
Been using the controller for 2 days and it’s the best controller I’ve ever used honestly. The Hall effect thumbsticks on this controller have to be the best thumbsticks I’ve ever used and I’ve had a lot of different controllers. Plus the back buttons are placed perfectly, way better than paddles. If your an RGB fan the lighting is great.
By any chance can you help me with activating the hair triggers and mapping the back buttons I’m using it on a pc I’ve downloaded the t4 app on my pc and the controller pops up
@@komanij867 I downloaded the app from their website. Idk how to explain it because it’s so self explanatory.
Hello, how is it holding up after 6 months now?
Love hall effect sticks, own a controller with them in it. The idea that there is no physical touching is mostly correct but there's an important part people don't tend to talk about that I'm interested in which is the internal bits of the sticks that hold the stick post in place, because that is most likely going to become the point of failure. All of the little pieces in there are molded plastic with some lube and it's already a small contributor to drift in classic potentiometer sticks. When they get used they wear down both by shedding bits of plastic and becoming misshaped, and the lube degrades causing them to have a harder time returning back to center. Even with hall effect sticks, if the sticks themselves don't return back to dead center over time your dead zones will still most likely need adjusting so I'm a little weary of saying they will never get drift
Thank you. Sometimes you gotta think they all get paid to do these Reviews because of course these Hall Effect sticks can and will develope drift because their internal moving parts are gonna degrade with use. It maybe last a whole damn time longer but in the end materiel degradation will still get em.
@@skylinesenpai5554fuck it man ill take what i can get until these mfs make a stick that can last forever
@@skylinesenpai5554the next step is floating the sticks themselves with magnets so there truly is no contact of any kind
Best budget game controller 😊
I've bought it after watching your review, and I can say it's an excellent controller, at least in XInput mode. No problems there. I'm having trouble in Nintendo Switch Pro mode on PC, more especifically on vibration. For some reason the controller doesn't seem to stop vibrating once it receives a signal. It only stops when I press the home button. It will do keep doing that again after it receives a vibration signal again. Right now I'm on the lastest T4K App running latest firmware. XInput mode works fine, Nintendo Switch Pro has this problem, DInput is recognized as a PS4 controller for some reason, but doesn't have vibration, neither gyroscope function.
Gamesir making cheap good stuff, the G7 to me had triggers I felt were to tall but the extra rumble motors in them was interesting for some games. This looks like it but with better sticks, sounds great at the price.
Just ordered one of these for my PC. My Xbox Series controller started developing drift last month and even my wife noticed it. Your review definitely helped me decide. Really no need to do wireless on my gaming PC and the Hall effect seems nice. Hopefully it turns out to be $35 well spent.
And? Still happy?
@@Extrasolar84 the thing is fantastic. No complaints. I might just get some control freaks or taller sticks down the line to give that a try.
@@NekBodesh Well I also got one and my games don't recognize the controller sadly.
@@Extrasolar84 damn, that sucks. I haven’t had any compatibility issues. Do you have it on the correct mode?
No doubt best controller for price point and then some. Almost wonder if you can mod the roller somehow to make the triggers short, at 40$ would feel safe experimenting. Definitely a buy. 10/10 review.
Have you tried modding it?
I just added hair triggers to mine since I mainly play fps games. The disasembling isn't that bad after you figure it out. These triggers feel great. I'm super picky with my products and research and I love this controller so far.
@@evandelph8052 how did you add hair triggers? That’s sweet
My thoughts exactly. As a switch owner I am not interested in wired controllers but when they make wireless one I will buy it the same day I hear about it.
Just ordered one for my second PC since my nieces and nephews don't like using a mouse and keyboard.
I've also got the Gamesir X2pro for my phone and I consider it a fantastic controller despite being a clip on phone controller.
Hall effects and the very nice mechanical buttons like the x2 is more than enough for me for only $40.
It's a great controller guys!!!
I think this is my new favorite controller. Took the g7s place. Sucks that the headphones not working with xinput though.... Maybe they can fix this with an update? Regardless it's a win. And win review as always GH.
Definitely going to have to get one at some point
Edit: finally remembered to come edit this comment. Picked this up and I'm in love with it. Was a bit finnicky to initially calibrate (more so likely due to my insanely bad luck), but after it was all set up it was heaven. Feels great, back buttons are nice, knowing it's got that reliability is the nice cherry on top. Would absolutely recommend.
How is it? Is it still holding up and what games do you play?
Nice review, needed a stick-drift resistant controller for the new FIFA I'm getting into. My current is a Power A Spectra (I was broke) and it's drift is preventing me to be as precise as I could be on the ball. And I know I'm about to grind hours into it so I need it to last lol
While I was looking for a PS5 Pro/Edge-like controller with 1000hz/sub-1ms latency, good HE sticks, mechanical buttons and all PS5 features... this is the absolute best controller until companies actually make this unicorn controller.
T4K has: Xbox/PC compatibility, sub-1ms 1000hz new polling rate with new update, good HE sticks, great mechanical buttons and triggers, gyro, decent software, and USB-C. AND rear buttons. AND good d-pad.
Hope this helps anyone else searching for decent controller!
I got this controller from the recent prime day and i got to say it is worth it. simple yet elegant. only thing stopping it from being perfect would be trigger stops then it would be better then the elite series 2 (in my opinion)
If it had 2 more buttons on the back, Would be the best budget controller on the market. I'm still gonna pick it up and test it myself.
I will defo be getting and trying one of these, for £41 its worth a try
I liked the GameSir 7 a lot but it was just too small. Is this one any larger in the hands? Closer to the Xbox X/S controllers?
I bought this controller a while back and I've been absolutely enjoying it so far. The software, as of this comment's posting date, seems to have been updated too.. you can set the polling rate on it now, currently have mine set to 1000hz (which is the max) and reads around 930hz on testing.
Have not experienced any degradation of performance so far.. very cool.
930ms? 1000ms is a second.
@@Empty12345 whoops, i meant to put 930hz there, not ms. edited

I’m hoping Gamesir will release a: 4 rear buttons, mechanical face buttons, Hall effect stick, trigger stop controller for Xbox soon. That would be a very enticing and perfect combo for me

For PC, this is the best controller out there. It will even be better once they add 2 more paddles and trigger stops but even without it, it's better than all the MS elite 2, scuffs, Wolverines and so on.
This might be the one for me. I've been off gaming for almost a year now, and my friends have hopped on Warzone II and I'd like to join them. That was, until I turned my PS5 controller on and COMPLETELY FORGOT my left thumbstick drifts worse than Tokyo. I was looking at a few controllers just to hop back in quickly without breaking the bank for the Dualsense Edge with no Hall Effects. I was this close to buying the KingKong Pro 2 until this video popped up right after. I'm gonna miss DS4 Windows but times change and I must move on. 😅😅
You should try to lower the thumbstick sensitivity to like 99 then back to 100 or keep at 99. This used to force circularity to almost 0% error on the G7, might work with this one as well.
Thanks for mentioning, when mine arrives I update if it works.
@@v4mp1el Any update on how this one went? Mine is coming in a few days and I am interested

Thank you. Yes I am actually doing a massive kontrol freeks review video including the new caps that just came out
@@GamerHeavenOfficial kontrolfreeks thumbstick and precision rings work great with the custom ps5 aim controller still have to get the new caps though
@@GamerHeavenOfficial does it work for ps5?
PlayVital's cap set shown here fits perfectly but, on the left stick, by touching the shell that is not recessed enough, it creates a jump like the ugly bump of a dying potentiometer, between high left and high position.
It can become unnoticeable by twisting the cap around so its skirt gets thinner enough, but it can come back with time. Solution I found was adding one of these thin silicon ring made to protect analog's axe. It works perfectly (no calibration needed, 100% move is still detected), and adds a good soft feeling when bouncing the analog against gamepad's shell, and makes it almost silent when playing lightly and way more discrete and pleasant when playing hard.
These suckers are way too overpriced for what they are, but completely solved the issue with PlayVital's set, protect against ware, and make the overall experience way better.
Thank you for the video this looks like a must buy! I have been searching for a wired hall effect controller with gyro and at least 2 back paddles that works on windows.
I previously used Dualsense with the Extremerate custom 4 paddle kits. Did that twice, both controllers showed stick drift within a few weeks. Seemed a massive waste or pot luck. This controller however, looks to have everything i would like. I just received the 8bitdo bluetooth ultimate but it ONLY uses gyro when in bluetooth mode.
If you were trying to find a back paddled/gyro/hall effect/wired/Not xinput etc.. would this be the only option? Appreciate any advice thank you!
Update: T4K does do all the above. Sticks dont seem as firm as the 8bitdo and the config app is terrible but the controller it self is brilliant.
I've been a lifelong pc gamer since the mid 1980's though I had a PS2 and an Xbox 360 eons ago,. After having wrist and thumb issues, I decided to attempt to use my ancient Logitech f310 and see if I could still play COD MWII with the guys...It's possible!! However, my lady's son said "Dude, try my PS4 controller" I was like...WOW!! Her other son said "Try my xbox elite version 1 controller" I was like... WOW! but not AS wowwed as I was with the PS4 controller though with a little tuning it was great also...SO... Seems I have to spend $200+ to get a decent controller with at least 2 back buttons! Well shit! I have jacked up wrists and cannot use the f310.. it's just TOO difficult to play a shooter with so.... I found YOUR channel! Over the last few days I've watched I don't know how many reviews on sub $100 controllers. Then I saved a bunch on my amazon acct to look over reviews and check quality, features etc...
THIS video showed me this controller which I could not find on Amazon without actually looking for this exact model.. (I used your link) Seems this $40 controller has everything I want.. minus the lighting but I can turn that off.. This controller, some Kontrol Freaks thumb stick risers and other odds and ends are getting ordered. Thanks Dude! Now I can ruin my wrists OR thumbs depending upon whichever hurt worse from day to day! You certainly earned a Subscriber aaaaand I'll keep checking out your videos!
Thanks again! ~51yo dude with busted up hands/wrists... =)
This would be everything I want, if it had trigger stops... I'm probably going to 3d print some custom trigger stops for this controller.
Oooo that would be sick
I own one and love it. Just wishing they did not manufacture their cable input to prohibit longer USB c cables - the shape and depth make it really difficult if not impossible to find a suitable longer cable. I have the option of using this into my Samsung tv's USB port while playing on Game Pass and the 6-foot cable that they include is not long enough.
I know this is a older video but I got ds4 windows working with this controller by holding the gamesir button and the B button. I also had to switch the emulated controller for it to actually work in game. Even with the polling rate set to max it seemed to still have random latency issues. Almost like maybe gamesir program and ds4 windows double inputting.
Bro a video with you trying to solder a new joystick the right way would go hard.
Gamesir g7 se has the magnetic hall effect sticks for xbox and its amazing
Awesome review. I have been looking for a controller with hall effect sticks and reliable paddles on the back for Rocket League.
I bought the Sonicon PS4 controller but the stick deadzone was 3% because of the hardware design and was too slow for my gameplay needs and was unusable in-game.
My newest controller is the Sony Dualsense Edge but that doesn't have hall effect sticks.
I JUST bought this T4 Kaleid and it'll be here on Sunday so fingers crossed that it performs well.
Hi, did your controller arrive? I'm searching all over internet about controllers that have hall effect joysticks and this one looks the best deal so far. Can you provide more information regarding the T4 Kaleid controller? Would you recommend this controller over the other ones? As a recent comment that you've posted, I would like to know your cons and pros about this controller.
@oprescuhorea-cristian148 Hey! I love the Playstation style, personally. Because I play Rocket League at a high level I need responsive sticks and paddles or buttons on the back. The Sonicon PS4 controller was great! It had USB-C and everything was cool except for that 3% hardware deadzone that made it impossible to make the slightest adjustments in-game.
The T4 Kaleid is an xbox-style controller and the shape is a bit awkward and smaller than I would like. It's usable but for Rocket League where I need exact diagonal control, compared to my Dualsense Edge it's not that great. For some reason I find diagonal control way different between Playstation and Xbox controllers a lot of the time.
I just switched my girlfriend over from a Power-A to the Dualsense controller and she loves it.
The T4 Kaleid software is nice, you can click a button to change the polling rate to 1000hz now which is awesome. It's way better than having to buy the DualSenseX software on Steam if you need that like I do.
However, if you are more of a casual gamer or are already familiar with the xbox-style controllers I would highly recommend the T4 Kaleid. It's cheap and the software is pretty decent.
If you have more questions or want me to show them off on video or something feel free to add me on Discord and I can do a call with you. My username is avatarmanz.
does this works with ps 4 ?
@@wazirulazzan3686 I don't know, sorry.

In my feedback to Gamesir I requested 4 back buttons, premium materials, swapabale thumb sticks, trigger stops, more color options and platform capabilities for less than 100 bucks. If they did that they could beat out even the big players in Pro controllers.
it looks like their newest software might allow for 1000hz overclocking, just gotta update the firmware! for that vertical short form video you mentioned in here ;)
8000hz or bust
Nice controller.
i finally got mine
Love your channel! Are there any hall stick controllers with 4 paddles?
Really good controller for the price, pro controllers will need a new standard going forward.
I've got a Gulikit KingKong Pro 2. One thing I need to do every so often is recalibrate it, because the left thumbstick will start failing to register the full amount of travel in a particular direction. A recalibration brings it back to near perfection, but I'm not clear why this is happening.
I wonder if this is what people might be conflating with when they mention hall effect sticks getting "stick drift".
This controller is worth it. Mine arrived a few weeks ago and I've been loving how it feels. The clicky face buttons, the smooth thumbsticks, the rear buttons sitting snugly where it's easy for even my tiny babbi fingers to reach. Totally worth the 1700PHP price. I do hope they release a wireless/bluetooth version someday. Kinda like the Gamesir G4 Pro.
Oh, and for anyone who just bought this controller, the Gamesir T4K App in the Microsoft Store is fixed now and it's in the latest version. The app itself will ask you to do the calibration.
Wait you gotta do Calibrations what for new to this sorry😅
And what are your thoughts on the Bumpers do they wear down easily or are they Hall Sensors?
I only got the controller a few weeks ago so I really can't tell yet if the bumpers wear down easily. I'll come back to you in a few years for that lol.
Also do correct me if I'm wrong, but the "Hall Effect" only applies to the thumbstick/joysticks not to the Bumpers. The Bumpers do feel solid and click-y and quite easy to press. Love the texture on it too. I've only been using budget controllers my whole life so the T4 DJ Kaleid is a joy to use.
No lie, you should rereview this controller compared to the other “newer” ones as this one kicks all of their asses lol Great performing controller for the price, especially once you set it to 1000hz in the gamesir app.
I’ve bought several of these controllers. I play apex legends with 0 dead zone so the stick consistency matters a lot. I’ve noticed that each controller I’ve bought has a bit of a difference in stick tension and a tiny amount of drift, but found one that felt really good. Out of the box, It’s probably my favorite controller I’ve used overall compared to several of the other budget options out there including most of the Power A controllers. ALSO… if your buttons start pressing multiple times when you’re trying to only press it once, double press the “m” button on the bottom of the controller and it fixes it.
Yup, double pressing the M disables the turbo mode. 😉
Oh and Gamer Heaven explained that the Hall Effect sticks will have a slight "stick wiggle" out of the box because they only have a spring that's holding it at center position.
do you have any amount of stick drift at 4-3 linear no deadzone ? and how much is stick tension compare to normal xbox controllers ?
Also curious about this ^ @@cyberkun96
this brand is getting more interesting by the week.
might go for it over the competition or should I?
i got gamesir t4 pro and 8bitdo ultimate bluetooth. And i swear to god that hall effect stick MUCH MUCH MUCH better when u need to aim.
I have the 8bitdo ultimate not the gamesir do you think the gamesir is better?
My t4k just arrived, so far right out of the box I loved it except one thing - how close the Back button is to the thumbstick, I didn't think it would matter that much but just be aware that thumbstick is going to get in the way. Personally I like to map key combos that involve the Back and Start buttons and it's a bit annoying at times
Are you going to review the GameSir G7 SE with hall analog sticks for Xbox? Or are the Xbox updated G7 SE just like the one on this video, but for Xbox? Thanks. Btw, you are the only controller reviewer that I found that let us hear the sound of the buttons really close, which is what we are looking for in a controller review.
I wish you could make your own controller for us to buy! I know it's probably more difficult then it sounds, but at least we could get the controller we deserve! Great review.
I’d love to design my own controller down the road , wayy down the road 🙂
@@GamerHeavenOfficialhurry tf id buy it in a heart beat
Just in case someone doesn't know, I have this controller with my Xbox series x and it works perfectly with the brook XB wingman adapter.
@@xXTheUknownClassXx you have make sure it is in x input mode, X + home, the home will be green. You can check what is selected by holding down the mode button to the right of the D-pad. The default is a red color, which I believe is for the Switch. The manual will not tell you, but you actually have to hold X + home and the controller will briefly turn off ann and then back on, it will then be in Xinput, green color, the RGBs will flash green as well.
Hope this helps
@@xXTheUknownClassXx ohh, I forget to add if when you hold the X + Home and it shuts off and does not come back on, just press the home button and it should come back on in that Xinput mode.
Yo I just got it to work man thank you @tcrviper! UnknownClass I can confirm it works with the XB2 Wingman!
@@xXTheUknownClassXx cool, glad it work for you 🙂👍
I feel like all these kind of controllers could take the whole PC peripherals market if only they put digital triggers or usable trigger stops, that’s the only thing they are missing… this controller is the same case as the 8bitdo ultimate dock version. Almost perfect.
Trigger stops are basically useless at this point
I'd take this over the 8bit anyday.
8bit doesn't have mouse click abxy or 1000hz.
Great review but not sure if you mentioned L3 R3, if you did I missed it. More like Xbox with clickyness or a little more gummy like PS?
I wish I saw this before buying the G7 SE :(.. Looks great and better than the membrane buttons. Guess I'm buying another controller hahah
The controller can run @1000hz after the latest update. Did Xinput tests, and it runs around 0.98ms latency.
Ew

Greetings Gamer Heaven, a HUGE thank you for your videos. I hope Gamesir will make a wireless version of T4 Kaleid. May I make a suggestion for a future video? The BEITONG Zeus 2 elite controller. This gamepad has a few interesting technologies, like rumbling LT and RT buttons, a lot of additional buttons, etc. And also good materials and complectation. I would love to see your input and opinion on it!
you're very welcome, yes that would be awesome. I will look into that gamepad, I hadn't heard of it.
I would also suggest the beitong asura 2 pro. Around 40$ with back buttons and hall triggers. Wireless and pc/android only.
@@pipthechaos yes. In my opinion, Beitong is underestimated company on the west market. And Zeus 2 can provide few features which nobody does. Asura 2 Pro not bad gamepad for the price. I bought it like a gift to a friend.
@@pipthechaos what are you on about '' hall triggers '' lol. It just has trigger deadzones. It's nothing new and hasn't get hall effect sensors for the thumbsticks so its complete garbage.
@@noWoodsman g7 doesnt have either and it's a good pad. you're a bit high on the hyperbole.
GH - apparently a software update just came out for the controller and app that allows you to overclock to 1000 through the app. Would love for you to confirm that if possible? Love your content man. Keep up the great work
following
pretty sure its confirmed- i saw a screenshot of the 1000hz in the software but haven't seen actual verification of the latency after updating the polling rate
@@supernice_auto this is a game changer - hoping GH will confirm or something else will come on this but definitely going to order one soon to test
@@MuteHog i ordered one tonight because for $38 why the f not lol
@@supernice_auto lmao bro same I just ordered one now for 48 Canadian. I have a scuf impact fps and play apex legends on 4-3 linear no deadzone and stick drift is getting wild so I’ll try it out tonight when it arrives
Apparently with the program on their site(not the one on the Microsoft store) you can now natively OC this controller to 1k hz polling.
Can you also test snapback and latency? Especially for Switch controllers. Maybe also a Smash attack test in Smash? And if the software works on Switch? Example: 8bitdo can't adjust the triggers as well when using it on Switch
Gulikit KKP2 out of box has terrible snapback, but an update seemingly fixed it. However there seems to be latency issue.
8bitdo Ultimate has snapback.
Both Hall Effect controllers have some dead zone issues or something there they don't correctly read quick inputs which causes problems in Smash while trying to do Smash attacks.
you have to hold the home button + a b x or y to swap input modes, 2 of which are xbox or ps4 mode dinput xinput modes, use those modes to test. i couldnt get it to work in rocket league without steam input without swapping to xinput or dinput also the triggers went full pull on steam.
just put it in the right mode
one of the 4 mods is switch mode
Hi Kevin, congratulations for your top reviews, can you recommend me an adapter to use this gamesir kailed su xbox series x? Grazie
So I bought mine is there a trick to getting it to connect to the app? it connects to my pc fine I can use it and its fine but cant do anything in the software? it just blinks over and over and says your controller isnt connected please check, but if I click out of the app I can play and its just fine?
Cool review, have you checked out Moga 5PLUS BT for pc and smartphones??
oh man that 3.5 jack shit😭 almost perfect
I kinda see why they put the face buttons in stock colors cuz they help learn the layout for the straight noobs and I really like how the motherboard whatever you call it looks really nice and has gold accents since you will look at it all the time it's a 10/10 on looks for me
Hi Kevin I've been trying the gamesir g7 se with hall effect stick for a couple of weeks, I'm finding it really good, will you bring the review of the g7 se to your channel? I'd like to know what you think, hello greetings from Italy 💪
So for this controller, both Nintendo Switch and PS4/ps5 control freak stick covers work?
Really liking your content but I’m stuck on which games it controller to get? The g7 or Kalied? I mostly play Fortnite so which would you recommend? Thanks bro
