Hey Mat! The lighting is doing wonders bringing out the color of your eyes!! And I agree that emotional connection is derived from wanting to get to know about him and his life and how he operates. Notice how he has his quirks and dislikes and likes. And find what all he is desiring for a successful life. A relationship isn't purely based on sex. Intimacy is much deeper than that.
