I really appreciate you guys showing the dimensions. He says "67 degree angle" but if you do the math with the measurements shown it is actually 73 degrees
It would have been nice to have included info like what the best aggregate and ratios are for this purpose. I know they have vinyl aggregate, and some sand mixes are more slippery than others.

I think you're most likely thinking of Mark Hubbard aka Monk, ran Grindline skateparks along with a band of the same name. Sadly passed a few years back, great documentary on him/Grindline on thrashers channel.
You can just shoot your forms down with concrete nails next time from a gun. You also don't need to put those top blocks on the form, so you can actually edge it.
when you make something, always do the best you can. thats what separates great and mediocre. dont let yourself get into the habit of saying sht like "fck it good enough" or "i dont care what it looks like" . unless you want to be the guy that does everything half assed. always do the best you can. so yes that blue tape was necessary to me. if you want to get paint on the street than paint something there.
This looks like a lotta work and more hassle than it's worth AND...it's not like your local parking lot is just gonna let you tear up their floor and pour a curb without the cops and subsequent payment for all the damage following afterwards.
