Rhino really is one of the unsung heroes of skateboarding. Dude has his hand in EVERYTHING and clearly gives no fucks about trespassing and getting it done for the rest of the crew. What a legend!
This should be called, "How to make a hip skateable with Rhino." I've learned so much from that dude with these videos. Especially how to work smarter not harder.
A lot of concrete and wood to build a ramp setup will take at least 3 to 5 hours until finishing up a kicker ramp to use the ramp skating of a different spot to landing many random maneuvers tricks to tricks on the obstacles!
As a fellow builder/rider I’m SUPER stoked seeing you all make CRUSTY spots BEAUTIFULLY SKATEABLE! I’m more in the residential backyards…one question: is that “feather finish” you are using called Ardex? Or is it one of the fortified patch kits? We have a “problem wall” in the backyard I do not want to overlay/cut bc the pool block set turned out rad
Couple questions. What's the concrete lube do? What was the stuff they were painting on with a brush? Finally what's the real light grey super smooth concrete called( they were using it at the top and the bottom)?
1. Helps the new concrete adhere to the old concrete. 2. Basically brush on clear coat. 3. I forget what it’s called but I think it’s like the fancy more refined concrete that finishes smoother, Sorry for that one I don’t know, I’m just regurgitating what I’ve learned watching people build DIYs on UA-cam.

Wondering myself, I found “top n bond” sacrete at my local store but not sure how it’ll turn out. No Ardex out here so we shall see
