No clear coat it's all oil based paint. He put used motor oil on the inside of the form , to keep concrete from sticking to the wood form . 44 year old construction worker here .

Kids, if you're going to wax a concrete curb you might as well save yourself some construction time and just make the damn thing out of PVC. Also, I find it ironic that TNF lawyers want a disclaimer for a skateboard video but never issue a helmet warning for rock climbing videos.
