I see all these bootlegs as challenges for others to transform them into normal Windows XP builds, honestly. Seen Enderman do that before, and i appreciate that you've taken up the challenge as well.

The icons haven't changed due to cache. It will take some time for them to reload, or you can just delete the cache files

I suggest you to try doing a repair installation from this build using an official XP ISO, then after the upgrade completes, create a new account

You can change the icons by replacing shell32.dll with a stock Windows XP shell32.dll.

So It's been a L00000ng Time since I've done this.
How are you b00ting with Win7 to then Supplement the ISO System32 files onto the WinXp Installation?

Just mounted a fresh Windows XP installation and booted the PE and copied on there.

did you delete all files from system32\dllcache before swapping files from vanilla xp?
system properties are in .cpl files :)
