Thanks for mentioning the bikini region… because that was my biggest concern honestly in comparing the two leaf razors before I bought. I use an electric razor on my legs so it’s not even a concern there. I just use a razor on my bikini, pits, and some spots on the face. I really appreciate this video. I felt like no one was going to even mention it’s uses… where I need it. Lol. I’ve been sitting on buying these razors till I knew, and now I know to get the Twig. Thank you,
Firstly, the yoke on this dress is impeccable. Secondly, I hadn’t even really considered using safety razors but, you’ve definitely given me something to consider. I definitely can’t wait for your future content. I’d love to be included in the giveaway!

I have been loving your comeback!! I've been watching for a while, and during your hiatus I tried to be more sustainable in my menstrual cycle care, and I've been interested in trying a sustainable razor (basically I've been looking into when sustainability can be an investment that saves my bank account in the long run). I'd LOVE to see a video where you discuss purchases you regret especially in your journey of being more conscious in the things you've been buying.
I taught my sons about safety razors, but my wife and daughters...no I didn't, but hope to get them to try this as I just got a Twig razor...and have about 600 different safety razor blades accumulated in a dozen different types.

I shave everywhere very infrequently so now your video is making me wish the twig came out before I purchased my leaf razor a few years back! I don't really need two but this video was super helpful to know about in the future for recommending to others- thanks
As much as I love the pivoting head on the leaf, I think something like this would be better for the areas I want to shave! Love the review!

Really nice with such an informative video, and I like your chill down to earth vibe! Honestly "tmi" is much needed with product reviews, I really appreciate it, I think a lot of people do actually.
Both razors sound amazing, I love that LeafShave are making razors more - approachable? - even if they're quite expensive. But hey, it's an investment, as are most sustainable things unfortunetly.

I’d looooveeee to see a video on Cuup. Thinking about purchasing one but I’m very curious to see what you think as we have pretty similar measurements (bustier with a smaller waist).
I've been thinking about making my shaving game more sustainable for a long time (at least since your original Leaf review!) but have been hesitant to take the plunge. This might have just convinced me though! I especially struggle with irritation in my underarms when I use a disposable, so the Twig sounds even more enticing the more I learn about it!

This is such a complete review! Thank you for touching on all the aspects of the product that you could personally speak on. I really liked how you were honest about not shaving certain areas like the armpits. I agree that everyone should totally be able to do whatever makes them feel their best with body hair!
Definitely would love to enter your giveaway! I’ve been thinking about jumping on the safety razor wagon, this one seems simple enough to use! I’d love to see some more video reviews on sustainable fashion brands & your thoughts about both the eco-conscious side as well as your take on it for personal health. Personally enjoy the use of organic cotton for both eco friendliness and health. As it’s less toxic for the environment and us the consumer, but most importantly those whom are behind the scenes sewing all our garments and such.

You mentioned that you were scared about using this razor at first, that you thought it was going to be more like a traditional safety razor. I have the twig and multiple traditional safety razors and both are equally smooth. The only difference is in the design, the twig only has one edge. I really think that most people have the wrong idea of safety razors in general and they get very surprised once they give them a chance.
This is super interesting! Honestly, shaving is something I've avoided lately not only for convenience but also precisely because of disposable razors, having to buy new ones, feeling bad about throwing them away. Thanks for covering this! Also, I'd love to see some more decor stuff from you if you feel like sharing!

i love your videos!! i saw your leaf review from a while back and still bought one and then had the same exact opinion :P it's so bulky and the bendy (?) pivot-y parts always snagged my hair so i just haven't really shaved these last 5 or so months lol. i'd love to try out the twig, though!!
im glad other people love the leaf brand and there razors ive been trying to get my sister on my side but she says they are to expensive but its a great investment in the long run

The Twig is an amazing razor, one of the best razors I have used. I shave my face and head daily, and it's fantastic. Tara, if you ever shave your head and face I recommend this razor !
I'm so glad I watched this! As a lady who has a nice mustache (lol) this is way better than the disposable razors.
I have a traditional safety razor that I love but I’ve always been a little scared of using it on my face. Surprisingly, I find it mostly easy to use in the bikini area. Definitely interested in how the twig might differ, so I’d like to be entered in the giveaway :) appreciate the thorough review!

I have PCOS and struggle w/ unwanted facial hair (and extremely thick, dark hair all over my body). Removing the hair has been a stressful battle. I don't like waxing for my face b/c I have to let the hair grow out 1/4" minimum and when you have a dark, coarse beard as a woman that length is too noticeable for my personal comfort. I found electric epilators to be too painful and irritating and they also require too much growth to be effective. I cannot at this time afford repeat in-office laser treatments. So, what I'm left with is shaving my face daily. It works but causes skin irritation and I'm prone to ingrown hairs (my facial hair is somewhat curly). I've heard great things about safety razors lessening skin irritation and providing a smoother shave for longer, but have this far been intimidated. I'm very interested in trying out the twig and would like to be included in the giveaway. Thank you so much for this in depth video!
Thank you for doing this review! I’ve never heard of these products before and they seem interesting. I’m nervous about getting cut but you went into detail about which razor to use where and how so that was very helpful! It sounds like the best option is to have both razors for different areas. I have actually been eyeing this razor ever since I saw chrissstttiiine mention it in her January favorites. In saying that, I'd love to be entered into the giveaway! I've been trying to figure out which safety razor to choose, so I'm glad that both are you are liking it and I think it might be the right one to go with then.

I don’t know if the giveaway is closed but I would absolutely love to be entered! I have been looking for an alternative to a disposable razor and did see some reviews on the original lead razor.... but you’ve definitely sold me on the twig! I have a harder time with the smaller areas of the body and think this would work amazingly!

The safety razor is still so intimidating, especially with the upfront investment that comes with the razor AND how you mention in the video, one size doesn’t fit all! I will be interested to see how the safety razor/ eco friendly razors continue to evolve. (I would like to be entered in the giveaway!)
I really enjoyed your review on the original leaf razor, but like you, I was kind of scared of trying it, especially because I use shaving to mostly keep up the downstairs area and underarms. I have an old traditional safety razor that can be uncomfortable to use because it has two open razor sides that can prick while shaving in tight spaces. I'm way too scared to use my epilator in those areas! I feel like this would be such a good compromise to shave those areas while keeping with lower-waste ideals.

I've tried the traditional safety razor from another brand and sadly we did not get along (which is such a bummer considering how much I paid for it). So glad you did this review! The twig is my first safety razor and I have to agree it is a 10/10 beginner friendly safety razor! It makes zero waste shaving way less daunting in comparison to other razors on the market

I bought a different brands safety razor and I struggled. Still fixing the razor burns lol. I was going to try and master doing the bikini area with it but the twig seems to be better suited for the job

Does the matte black finish wear off over time?
I bought a safety razor some years ago now, but then stopped shaving, so it hasn't gotten much use. However, I would love to be entered in the giveaway and try this out for my upper lip, because I just half-ass tweeze it right now and have been considering waxing it again, but this sounds so easy breezy.

Hi Tara, lovely top/dress, you look great. I have tried "normal" safety razors on my legs and I always get redness and little bleeding spots, I've used the warm towel, coconut oil+aloe vera and lush's shaving foam and still getting horrible marks, like if my cat had scratched me all over... anyway, I hope the 30º is the key to my situation... any other tips about using any products to avoid irritation? thanks!

I've been interested in trying bikini area hair removal for a while but have felt weirdly intimated by it? So I've paid pretty close attention to your video reviews about it, like with the Leaf review where you mentioned you would not recommend it for that specific area. I'm a lot more interested in this one because of that specific part of the review here, and I would love to be entered in the giveaway!
I've also thought about sugaring/other methods, but part of the issue is also I'd like it to be something I can do at home, and I think you had said that didn't work quite as well at home?
I actually find the leaf and twig to be some some of the worst safety razors I've tried. Traditional safety razors like oui the people, well kept, and eco roots are much better imo (I give away ones that I don't as much so I only have one in my collection). The angle for safety razors is really easy to find I think it's just the fear associated with nicking yourself is the main reason people gravitate to other options
