    You can get a free biohazard waste bin in any pharmacy (normally for needles and such), and the pharmacy will take it when it is full.

    You can also use a rubber band as a grip

      Really the better tip is that the company should of spent more R&D into it and designed a better grip. A different texture literally makes a huge difference.

    So 4 dollars for a metal tin seems to be a little high I have used a saftey razor for sometime and just like my dad and grandad we have a old metal can punch a hole in the top and drop in the old blades this is my modern safety feature my dad and grandad just used a soup can once it got full we would take it to the scrap metal guy when we made a trip for "soda" cans or scrap iron

    Love my Leaf razor, but the Leaf blades are garbage lol. They dull very fast and aren’t the sharpest things around by far. I’ll keep the ones I have for emergency spares, but will load it with King E Gillettes from now on. They’re pricey, but worth it.

    • @SDhunter2020

      You should try Gillette platinum. They are also very good. But cheaper.

      Try Asta Super Platinum. A package of 100 blades is not expensive, ans they are very well rated by DE razor community

    The worst razor I’ve ever used. It’s too slippery that I couldn’t use it in the shower and the blades that Leaf sent me with this razor were poorly made. For a $120 I was expecting something better 😡

    Can I ask a question? What are the best blades to buy for this razor. For some reason the single edge blades I bought do not completely lay flat. I have watched loading videos and I have made sure that the blades are secured in the notches on the side but they bow out in the center until I have flattened them with the screw, it's almost as if the blades are too long. The Leaf brand blades fit fine and go in easily so I am very confused. Has anyone else encountered this? Did I just get an off brand? Any advice would be appreciated.

    I dunno why but whenever I dry shave with store bought plastic razors I get INSANE reaction, like full blown allergy. With metal razors it's nonexistent. With plastic rasors and foam or water it's nonexistent too.

    • @scootcha
      @scootcha 8 місяців тому

      You're not supposed to dry shave. That's part of why you get a reaction. Your skin NEEDS water and lubrication.

    • @glacialimpala
      @glacialimpala 8 місяців тому

      Obviously not. The culprit was an ingredient in that lubrication strip that foams when you get it wet. @@scootcha

Like $15 for both the handle and like 48 cartridges. I'm just now down to my last 5 after 3 years. And i have another one after that. Its just hard to see the value in this over what i got now.

    Sounds like Leaf's just jumped on the eco-bandwagon grift. Every safety razor since, um, forever, produces little waste, and carbon dioxide is your friend; I don't worry about it, and neither should you. Don't bother buying some ridiculous tiny box to store old blades, cut a slit in the top of any old jar and fill it up; I've been working on filling the same old baking powder jar for years. Once its done, most pharmacies have a sharps box you can put them in. I don't think I'd put them in the recycling for fear that some unsuspecting guy sorting the recycling would get cut.
