I think I've seen your screen name on the forum before. Everytime I see "McFly" I think of Biff saying, "Hey McFly, make like a tree and get out of here" (with "boston" accent. )
That's where I get the name, it's my favorite movie. Plus my name is Marty... You were giving great perspectives on the ALH. That's precisely why I called. I needed to hear that!
Please recommend a good replacement nozzle make and sizefor a high milage (400 000kms) stock tdi with manual trans. Not looking for major gains just goid driveability and reliability
Off the topic of this video I have a 2001 TDI golf 1.9 diesel the hood latch the cable broke inside and then sucked up into the cable and the other end came out from the latch how do I get in ?you got a video.? Thanks
I recently serviced the nozzles at Bosch Service center. After reinstalling the nozzles, there were leaks in couple of nozzles. So replaced the copper seals. Now, the car stalls after running a few miles. It starts again after the engine stalls. I think I have over torqued the nozzles. What could cause stalling?
Every time the nozzle is replaced, adjustment must be made. It is usually done with spacers If the Bosch service replaced only the nozzles without adjustment, your car is not working well, probably due to the excessive and different pressure created in each injector
I replaced my nozzles cleaned everything followed instructions bled all the injectors and im having a misfire. I think its injector #3 but im not to sure. Any ideas?
@@TDITODD cylinder contribution test. while engine is running open the lines to each injector one at a time and see which one is not contributing. Then take that one apart and see what you did wrong.
@@fredrik6166 it just injects fuel like any other but it has a sensor to sense when the fuel is injected so the computer can determine injection timing and adjust injection timing as you drive. Its called needle lift sensor.
I'm always learning . Thank you for passing some knowledge on how to do it properly

Thanks so much!
Is it necessary to check for low and high pressure opennings? What about checking for if injector drips under pressure? Thks Ken
your questions are why it is best to have this service performed by a professional at a Bosch authorized service center.
Thanks
Good frère
thanks!
